“Victoria helped me last minute to check in on my dog Chai. He seemed super happy to go on his walks. She’s came on time and sent photos and updates. Will definitely book again!!”

About: I don't have official Rover experience yet, but I'm a full time dog mom to my doodle, Jaxie, and before him, our beloved Roscoe, a pitbull we lost last year. I've also taken care of their cousins, Boomer (Australian Shepherd) and Jazzie (Husky/German mix), a handful of times. Different breeds, different energy levels, so I'm used to adjusting to each dog's personality and needs. I treat every pup like my own, lots of attention, patience, and love! I'm available for drop-ins and walks Monday through Sunday! Weekdays are a bit tighter since I work full time until 4pm and I'm home by 5:30, but I'm ready to play with your pups right after that. Weekends are when I have the MOST availability, pretty much all day, so those tend to be the easiest to book! I only offer walking and drop-ins for now. Safety means secure leashes, checking doors and gates, and staying alert on every visit so your pup is safe!
“Lucia was excellent! She was responsive, friendly, and punctual. I hired her to take my 5 month old GSP for a walk with specific needs for timing and location, and she could not have been a better walker to ask. She was easy to communicate with and very prepared. Thank you Lucia!”
“Karen is fantastic! She is reliable, flexible, trustworthy and loved by our fur baby. The way he greets her when she arrives speaks volumes. It’s so nice to know that he is being well cared for when we have to be away for long work days or when we leave town. She communicates frequently and sends us updates and pictures to stay connected. We have hired her several times and will do so again. Highly recommended.”

About: With over eight years of hands-on pet care experience, I don’t just “watch” animals — I build real bonds with them. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, quirks, and comforts so they feel safe, seen, and genuinely loved. Every animal in my care is treated as if they were my own, with patience, protection, and affection at the center of everything I do. Their happiness, trust, and tail wags are truly the greatest reward. I am a freelance professional makeup artist working part time, so I have plenty of free time to care for your furry friends and felines! When I care for your pets in your home, I treat the entire space with the same respect and attention I give your animals. I follow their routines closely, provide loving companionship, and make sure they feel safe, calm, and comfortable in their familiar environment. While I am there taking care of your pets, I am also taking care of your home — keeping a clean, safe, and mess-free space for your animal to relax in. You can return to a happy pet and a well-maintained home.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have always loved caring for animals. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I understand the importance of following each pet’s routine, including feeding, playtime, walks, and giving them plenty of care and attention. I understand that every pet is different, and I will treat your pets with love, patience, and respect. I currently dedicate my time to caregiving and have a flexible daily schedule. I attend English classes in the morning and work from home, which allows me to spend most of the day at home and provide pets with plenty of attention and care. I also go to the gym, but I have a flexible schedule and can plan my day around each pet’s needs and routine. I always make safety and trust my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and safe environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I carefully follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and any special care. I pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings to help prevent accidents and make sure they feel safe and well cared for. I will treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect.
“In the past three weeks or so, Mry has been walking my dog every morning. Since my chocolate lab cannot write the review ( she can do most everything else..) let me just describe my dog’s reaction to Mry: excited anticipation prior to her arrival and a happy “smile” on her face upon returning from her walk! As for me, I cannot say enough about Mry’s Professional and pleasant attitude. She is punctual, tailors the walks to my dog’s ability and daily wants. The daily reports I get from Mry are not the mundane ones but a true and detailed description of my dog’s activities (sniffing, slow or energetic, tired etc.). In short, I recommend Mry in the highest possible terms!”

“Absolutely amazing! Darby is so nice and pleasant to talk to. And she treats my two doggos even better than I imagined. I love the amount of communication about how the walks went and how the dogs are behaving while I'm out and about. My two rascals absolutely love her. As a first time user of the app I was concerned about trying this out but I have no regrets and I recommend it to others now. I can relax knowing that Darby is taking care of the kiddos.”

About: I have a passion for caring for all kinds of pets and have always had both a cat and a dog (and often more) in my life growing up. I'm experienced with dogs of all sizes. Your pet's needs and preferences will always be my top priority, and I will take any special requests or concerns seriously. For me, this isn’t just a job; it’s like a playdate with your pets! I’m a laid-back person with good intentions, so please feel free to reach out. Thank you, and I hope I can assist you. I currently work hybrid 2-3 days a week Thursday to Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM, but I'm available most days of the week to care for your wonderful pets. I can take care of them in my home, yours, or simply take them out for walks. I will do my best to accommodate your needs, and I promise to keep your pets safe and protected at all times. About: I genuinely love animals, and that comes through in my work. Going above and beyond what is expected is my normal because in addition to being responsible, I also just love pets and animals and being around them. I have worked at the UC Davis Vet hospital, volunteered at the LA Zoo, and currently foster cats with Front St Animal Shelter. I’m currently a full time student in my last year of my Genetics and Genomics BS. I have always at least worked part time during my entire college career, and I really enjoy getting to work with animals to decompress from school. I am very attentive to directions, and I’m great at communicating with pet parents on their needs. While I don’t board at my own home, I always make sure to treat your home with the respect as I would my own.

About: Hi! I’m Linda, a dependable and caring dog walker who understands how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your furry family member in someone else’s care. I have over 12 years of experience as a caregiver, where patience, responsibility, safety, and following routines have always been important. I’m also CPR certified and take pride in being reliable, attentive, and respectful of each family’s individual needs. I love being outdoors and would enjoy giving your dog a safe and enjoyable walk where they can get some exercise, fresh air, and plenty of attention. I understand that every dog has their own personality and comfort level, so I take the time to build trust and make each walk a positive experience. I’m currently focusing on dog walking and starting with small and medium-sized dogs as I continue to build experience with different breeds and personalities. I’m also comfortable with senior dogs, as I personally have a senior Chihuahua who I’ve had since 2011. Having cared for my own senior dog over the years, I understand that older pets may need a slower pace, extra patience, and a little more attention to their comfort and needs. You can expect good communication, punctuality, and updates after your dogs walk. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for with kindness and attention while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my children are currently in school, so I have a pretty flexible schedule during the day. Dog walking is a great way for me to stay active, busy, and spend time with dogs, which I really enjoy. I currently offer dog walking only. During each walk, I’ll make sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of exercise and attention. I’ll also follow any instructions you leave for me.
About: I worked at a Daycare/Grooming facility for 2 year, have been grooming dogs for 2 years after that and I've taken classes for Pet CPR and first aid. Am currently in school for Canine Specialty and currently work at a board and train facility in Tarzana. I currently work a full time job however my employer allows me to have a more flexible schedule if needed, typically I am at work for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I like to know the preferences of pet parents so that I don't accidentally break any boundaries or habits the parent is trying to create with their pets. I like maintaining a schedule since most dogs already have some kind of routine at home so if feeding times and potty breaks are around a specific hour I like to run my day according to the pet's schedule
About: I have always owned dogs and cats since I can remember! Honestly, I prefer pet company than human. Lol. I have pets at home, and I miss them dearly, so this is the next best thing I can devote myself to while we are apart. I have always trained my pets by myself and know how to read their body language. I took care of puppies too, by helping nurse and clean them and the mama dog! I have no pets or kids at home, I also only babysit one pet at a time, so rest assured my full attention is on your baby. We’ll have so much fun together! I currently work full time! But I have plenty of time in the weekends to drop by and play with your pets! Im available to cat or dog sit in the weekend. Expect two long walks around the neighborhood, feeding schedule according to their needs, nap time and lots of pets! Caring for a pet is like taking care of a baby. You have to make sure they are happy by making sure they are well fed, hydrated and comfortable! Expect to receive photo updates and videos throughout the day.
About: Hello. I’m Karina, and caring for animals has been a central part of my life for many years. In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I have extensive experience working with horses, including high-performance equine athletes. That background has taught me to be calm, observant, consistent, and attentive to each animal’s individual personality and needs. I understand that every pet is different. Some want an energetic walk, while others simply need a consistent routine, patience, and companionship. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for with me. I specialize in reliable weekday lunchtime dog walks and drop-in visits in the Encino area, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want consistent, dependable care. I also offer cat drop-in visits and limited boarding for dogs that are friendly with my own well-socialized dog and cat. You’ll receive updates and photos during every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! Pet care is something I intentionally build into my weekly routine. I provide consistent weekday lunchtime walks and drop-in visits, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want dependable care while they’re at work. My schedule also allows me to offer weekend boarding and pet care by arrangement. I enjoy having a routine that lets me give each pet my full attention and provide reliable, consistent care. Boarding dogs stay in my home as part of the family, with plenty of attention, exercise, and a consistent routine. I have a secure balcony and easy access to a large grassy area for potty breaks and fresh air. Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, we can enjoy walks in my quiet condo complex or explore the dog-friendly neighborhood nearby. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and my own friendly, well-socialized dog, so everyone stays safe, relaxed, and happy. My goal is to provide a calm, comfortable environment where your dog feels at home while you’re away. With your permission, I’m also happy to take well-trained dogs on special outings, such as nature trails or to the horse facilities where I spend time, for additional exercise and enrichment when appropriate.
About: Hey there, neighbors! I’m Noam, a university student at UC San Diego who loves animals, photography, and running. I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, so I know that taking care of a pet isn’t just a responsibility, it’s taking care of another member of the family! As a student, I also know how busy life can get. Whether you’re stuck at work, have a long day of classes, or simply need an extra hand, I’d love to be there for your pets when you can’t. My priority is to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’ve personally cared for dogs, cats, and even rabbits, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m also an avid runner, so if your pet has extra energy to burn, I’m always happy to make their walk a run! I offer walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. I’ll always treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! - Noam :) I’m currently a university student, so pet care fits in perfectly between classes and study breaks. I personally would probably have more time on weekends, and could definitely use pet care as a break from my intensive studies! I’ll make sure that the pets are taken care of at all times, preventing them from eating anything (including themselves haha), getting themselves hurt, and making sure they stay safe overall.
About: I have had 3 dogs my whole life. Although, I currently done have any; my love for them is still within. Im here to get my itch of pup cured. I do own cats and don't want any foul play when its comes to crossing boundaries.
“Taylor is amazing. She has helped me out multiple times with my high energy pitbull. She’s done house sitting for a week and helps do weekly walks with my dog. It’s such a relief to know my pup is in safe hands and is getting love from Taylor at the same time.”

About: I grew up with dogs in my household since i was 6 years old, as one of them got older they became a diabetic so I learned how to give insulin shots twice a day. I also helped run my aunt's in house pet sitting and walking service growing up back in high school for several years. Some of them needed meds with their food (dogs and cats) so I have experience in that as well. My schedule is very very flexible so please just shoot me a message and we can discuss details! For daily, weekly, monthly, etc. thank you! Checking up on them here and there, giving them tons of love and play time! Making sure they're fed on time, always have water, frequent walks

Francisco was great! He is reliable and he is great with dogs! He communicates well and sends pictures of our dogs who always look happy and exercised from their walks. We would definitely reach out to him again! I highly recommend Francisco for your pet caring and dog walking needs.

I couldn’t be happier with Sanaz’s service. She was very communicative and left detailed reports with lots of videos and photos of the pups. She was able to help out with a short turnaround, and was proactive to schedule a meet & greet beforehand too. Sanaz was calm and confident working with my reactive pups, and understood how to make them feel more comfortable. She went above and beyond to make sure the pups were happy and comfy. Thank you, Sanaz!

I worked with Cody as a dog walker. He handled my very large dog, who can be a bit reactive, with patience, confidence, and real skill. It’s clear he understands dogs and takes safety seriously. I feel much more at ease knowing my dog is in such capable hands. Highly recommend and will continue to use Cody in the future!

Hillary is one of the few people I trust with my fur baby, I always know she’s in good hands when she’s in her care. She is very communicative and reliable, and my dog is always so excited to see her. You’ll get lots of photos and updates of their adventures together, which I really appreciate. You can tell she genuinely cares. I highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable walker or sitter. Thank you Hillary!! 🫶

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
