About: Taking care of any type of dog is something that I always look forward to doing, and I have been doing it for friends, family, and more for most of my life. I am mostly focusing on school, but when I am free, spending time with dogs is something that I have always been interested in. I want to do something that I enjoy instead of a boring, behind the counter job. At my house, my whole front yard is gated, and has a grass area that is perfect for any type of dog, no matter the size. I am perfectly fine at following instructions given by the owner that will best benefit the dog while he/she is my responsibility.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 8 years through nannying, with the last 3 years being full-time pet sitting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities—big or small, young or old. I also have experience with senior and disabled dogs and understand how important it is to be patient, attentive, and consistent with their routines. I always follow care instructions closely and make safety a top priority. I genuinely love being around animals and make sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for, just like they would at home. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine since I have an open and flexible schedule. I’m available during the day, evenings, and overnight, and I’m able to plan my day around a pet’s needs rather than squeezing them in. Whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, meds, or just hanging out and keeping them company, I make sure they get the time and attention they deserve. I also have a reliable car, so getting to and from visits is not a problem. I care for pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a space they know. I’m very respectful of both the pet and the home and always follow care instructions exactly as they’re given. I pay close attention to routines, safety, and any special needs, especially with senior or disabled dogs. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and never stressed, and I always aim to keep things calm, clean, and familiar. I treat every pet like my own and want pet parents to feel confident and at ease while they’re away.
“Danielle was absolutely amazing with Lulu. She treated Lulu with so much kindness, patience, and attention. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Lulu was in such loving hands. I highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and wonderful with dogs. We will definitely be booking with her again. ❤️”

“We just moved to the area and we were nervous to find a new dog walker. Daysha stepped in for a last minute request and she was great! Our dog is very shy with new people and she was patient with him and let him warm up to her! Thanks for your help and being accommodating to our needs, Daysha!”

About: I’ve lived with and cared for dogs and cats my entire life—22 years of experience that’s made me confident, compassionate, and deeply attuned to animals’ needs. I’ve raised energetic puppies, cared for senior dogs needing gentler attention, and worked with rescue pets who needed patience and love to feel safe.I’ve personally had Labrador Retrievers, Portuguese Water Dogs, and mixed-breed rescues, so I’m very familiar with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and care routines. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, medication schedules, or cuddles on the couch, I’m all in. What sets me apart is that I truly treat every pet like family—I tune into their personalities, make sure they feel comfortable, and prioritize communication with pet parents every step of the way. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine as a side job when I’m not working. I love spending my free time with animals—it’s both relaxing and fulfilling. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening playtime, I’m flexible and happy to schedule pet care around my availability. It’s a meaningful way for me to stay active, connect with animals, and help fellow pet parents feel at ease when they’re away. As a recent UCLA graduate and lifelong animal lover, I take pride in being someone pet parents can trust. I’m reliable, respectful, and always treat your space with care—just as I would want someone to treat mine. Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I follow all instructions closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, medication, or special quirks your pet may have. I believe in open communication and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in responsible, loving hands.
About: With lifelong experience caring for dogs, horses, and cats, I'm an animal lover and horse whisperer. I train my pets, provide energy healing, and enjoy daily walks. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, as I work from home and have the flexibility to design my own schedule. As an energy healing practitioner, I prioritize mindfulness and balance, which extends to my pets. I incorporate playtime, walks, and training when needed into my day, ensuring they receive ample exercise and mental stimulation. During breaks from my meditation and yoga sessions, I find joy in spending quality time with my pets, fostering a nurturing environment. Their companionship enhances my work-life balance, and I often use sound healing techniques to create a calming atmosphere for both myself and my furry friends. Caring for pets in my home is a thoughtful process. I have a fenced yard where your dog can play safely alongside my sweet 15 year old boxer, who loves companionship. I welcome only dogs that are friendly with cats, as my 4 year old indoor cat enjoys their company. I feed all dogs outside, right in front of my kitchen, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment. Cats are fed separately in the kitchen, with their food placed on furniture to keep is safe from curious dogs. For hydration, I have a water fountain for the cats and a water dispenser for the dogs, both inside and outside for the dogs. When needed, I can easily crate your dog at night; my boxer is crate trained but prefers to sleep freely now. I require that you bring your dog and cat with their own bed, food, and treats, ensuring they feel comfortable. Additionally, It's essential that all pets have a collar with a tag and a leash for safety. This structured approach helps create a harmonious atmosphere for all furry friends in my care.
“Absolutely amazing! Darby is so nice and pleasant to talk to. And she treats my two doggos even better than I imagined. I love the amount of communication about how the walks went and how the dogs are behaving while I'm out and about. My two rascals absolutely love her. As a first time user of the app I was concerned about trying this out but I have no regrets and I recommend it to others now. I can relax knowing that Darby is taking care of the kiddos.”

About: USE MY CODE MARISF01875 FOR $20 OFF BOOKING From growing up with pets to working in a vet hospital, animals have always been at the center of my world. While my job is mostly administrative, I’m lucky to connect with every fur baby that walks through our doors— and their humans too! I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge just by being in this environment, from understanding pet behavior to recognizing when something might need a professional’s attention. What sets me apart? I have direct access to veterinary care, and I’m well-versed in how to handle unexpected situations calmly and with care. Your pet will be treated like my own—whether that means a cozy walk, playtime, or simply being a comforting presence while you're away. I bring love, attention, and a little vet-clinic peace of mind to every visit. I work full-time at a veterinary hospital, which keeps me close to pets (and pet parents!) every day. I’m currently looking for sitting and drop-in opportunities near my workplace so I can stay close to both the job and your pet—making it easy for me to check in regularly and be nearby in case of anything urgent. On weekends, I’m fully available for more dedicated, around-the-clock care, whether that’s overnight stays, extended visits, or just extra snuggles and walks. I only offer pet care in the comfort of your pet’s home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your care instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, walks, medication, or playtime—while keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. My goal is to make every visit feel calm, loving, and familiar, so your pet feels comfortable even while you’re away.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since my childhood while living at grandma’s village house. A brunch of “pets” from cats, dogs and chickens - to geese, goats, cows, rabbits, turkeys. I’m available for boarding daily mostly 12-5pm. But every case depends, contact ahead to verify . Not doing early morning or late evening visits or walks. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding, medications, exercise, and house rules, so pets stay comfortable in their familiar space. Change for fresh water if needed
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. Back home in Los Angeles, I have a 5-year-old Golden Retriever named Cooper. I take him on daily walks, make sure he's well fed, and bring him along whenever I can because I truly believe dogs deserve to experience life to the fullest. Their time with us is far too short, so I want every day to be full of love, adventure, and happiness. When caring for someone else's dog, I treat them with the same love and attention I give Cooper. I take the time to learn about each dog's routine, personality, and individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I recently moved to San Francisco and have a very flexible schedule. I'm available any day of the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I genuinely love being around animals and caring for them, so I'm happy to help with walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, or any other care your pet may need. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I treat every dog as if they were my own. It's very important to me that they feel safe, and at home while they're in my care. During walks, I always choose safe routes, stay aware of my surroundings, and carefully monitor interactions with other dogs to ensure a positive and stress free experience. My priority is making sure every dog feels loved, and well cared for from the moment they arrive.
About: Hey, I’m Anthony! I’ve been around animals since I was born. Grew up on a mini farm and took care of countless of dogs, as well as cats. I actually have a Siamese cat! I’ve always felt so connected with animals my entire life and most (if not all) pets of friends/family love me :) I’ve also watched a lot of pets in my life from time to time, whether it’s for a friend, neighbor, or family member. I work part-time at the moment and I have a lot of time on my hands, aside from work and occasional hobbies. My work schedule is given out a month in advance, so I always know when I’m available in the future and when I’m not. I’m very good with respecting the boundaries of animals and providing the care that they need. Your animal needs a lot of playtime? I got that covered. Your animal needs company but is more on the shy side? Got it, we can just hang out! Let me know what is needed for your pet, how their usual day looks, and I’ll be more than happy to put my all into caring for them
About: I grew up in a home where my parents bred and fostered dogs, so caring for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was hands-on with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and everyday care from a young age, and I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me with their pets for everything from walks and drop-ins to extended overnight stays lasting three months or more. I know how important it is to have someone you can completely trust with both your pet and your home, and I treat every animal I care for like they’re my own. I’m attentive, affectionate, dependable, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day, including weekdays and weekends. This gives me plenty of time for walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of one-on-one attention. I’m also available for overnight stays and can accommodate pets who need a little extra company or a more consistent routine. A typical day includes neighborhood walks, plenty of backyard time, playtime, and lots of love and cuddles. I like to follow each pet's usual schedule as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and at home while they're with me. Whether your pup loves long walks and playing outside or would rather curl up and relax, I'm happy to match their energy and routine.
“Julia was overall very professional, prompt, and flexible when it came to the needs of our puppy. Our puppy is still very young and can be a handful, but Julia was always willing to meet her needs by being patient, using treats, and graciously cleaning up after her. She is wonderful and I would definitely book with her again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Calabasas
Gigi was awesome! Georgia is a very anxious dog and typically does not warm up to new people easily, but Gigi was incredibly calm, patient, and reassuring from the start. It was clear she understood how to make a nervous dog feel comfortable, and Georgia ended up doing great with her. Gigi was also very responsive, reliable, and communicative throughout the stay, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It's not easy to find someone I trust with Georgia, but I would absolutely book with Gigi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter.

Danielle was absolutely amazing with Lulu. ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
