About: Taking care of any type of dog is something that I always look forward to doing, and I have been doing it for friends, family, and more for most of my life. I am mostly focusing on school, but when I am free, spending time with dogs is something that I have always been interested in. I want to do something that I enjoy instead of a boring, behind the counter job. At my house, my whole front yard is gated, and has a grass area that is perfect for any type of dog, no matter the size. I am perfectly fine at following instructions given by the owner that will best benefit the dog while he/she is my responsibility.

I do work part-time, but I still can make time for your furry friends to make sure that they are taken care of and providing everything they need My dogs run around in the backyard and have dog houses as well, I plan to take direction from the owner, very seriously and make sure that the animals needs are met in every way
About: I’ve lived with and cared for dogs and cats my entire life—22 years of experience that’s made me confident, compassionate, and deeply attuned to animals’ needs. I’ve raised energetic puppies, cared for senior dogs needing gentler attention, and worked with rescue pets who needed patience and love to feel safe.I’ve personally had Labrador Retrievers, Portuguese Water Dogs, and mixed-breed rescues, so I’m very familiar with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and care routines. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, medication schedules, or cuddles on the couch, I’m all in. What sets me apart is that I truly treat every pet like family—I tune into their personalities, make sure they feel comfortable, and prioritize communication with pet parents every step of the way. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine as a side job when I’m not working. I love spending my free time with animals—it’s both relaxing and fulfilling. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening playtime, I’m flexible and happy to schedule pet care around my availability. It’s a meaningful way for me to stay active, connect with animals, and help fellow pet parents feel at ease when they’re away. As a recent UCLA graduate and lifelong animal lover, I take pride in being someone pet parents can trust. I’m reliable, respectful, and always treat your space with care—just as I would want someone to treat mine. Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I follow all instructions closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, medication, or special quirks your pet may have. About: With lifelong experience caring for dogs, horses, and cats, I'm an animal lover and horse whisperer. I train my pets, provide energy healing, and enjoy daily walks. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, as I work from home and have the flexibility to design my own schedule. As an energy healing practitioner, I prioritize mindfulness and balance, which extends to my pets. I incorporate playtime, walks, and training when needed into my day, ensuring they receive ample exercise and mental stimulation. During breaks from my meditation and yoga sessions, I find joy in spending quality time with my pets, fostering a nurturing environment. Their companionship enhances my work-life balance, and I often use sound healing techniques to create a calming atmosphere for both myself and my furry friends. Caring for pets in my home is a thoughtful process. I have a fenced yard where your dog can play safely alongside my sweet 15 year old boxer, who loves companionship. I welcome only dogs that are friendly with cats, as my 4 year old indoor cat enjoys their company. I feed all dogs outside, right in front of my kitchen, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment. Cats are fed separately in the kitchen, with their food placed on furniture to keep is safe from curious dogs. For hydration, I have a water fountain for the cats and a water dispenser for the dogs, both inside and outside for the dogs. When needed, I can easily crate your dog at night; my boxer is crate trained but prefers to sleep freely now. I require that you bring your dog and cat with their own bed, food, and treats, ensuring they feel comfortable. Additionally, It's essential that all pets have a collar with a tag and a leash for safety. This structured approach helps create a harmonious atmosphere for all furry friends in my care.
About: I currently have three dogs, a golden retriver, a dachshund mix, and a golden retriver german shepard mixed puppy. I have grown up around dogs and many kinds of animals. Since I was young I have taken care of my dogs, I walk, feed, and clean them. Additionally, I know how to handle a difficult dog becuase my recently deceased lab mix had some behavioral issues which I think is important because not all dogs are easy to walk. I'm currently a college student home for the summer. I'm essentially a sitting duck right now, meaning my schedule is wide open. I can come in the morning, night, or afternoon. I make sure to walk my dogs at least once a day but I try to make it twice a day. I feed and weight my dogs food before giving it to them, and make sure to feed them at the same time everyday. I am very good with dogs and respectful of peoples homes and make sure to keep my own home clean while having three dogs.

“Julia is great! She always comes to walk gigi around the same time and sends recaps after every walk with pictures. She always gives a heads up on her schedule and keeps me updated on anything going on with gigi”

About: I raised a puppy for Canine Companions (service dog organization). I have also dog/house sat for a family friend and their two elderly frenchies. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at Berkeley Humane Society and worked at a doggy daycare/kennel where I helped with all aspects of animal care. I am currently volunteering at Eastwood Ranch. I’m currently a full-time student at UC Berkeley, but my Tuesdays and Thursdays (along with weekends) are mostly open. I also have a car so I’m able to travel to get to surrounding areas of Berkeley. I currently live in a house with 2 other girls, so I’m not willing to offer overnight boarding. However, I’m able to travel and I feel confident in providing for and caring for animals as I’ve grown up with them and cared for them my entire life.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Calabasas
Gigi was awesome! Georgia is a very anxious dog and typically does not warm up to new people easily, but Gigi was incredibly calm, patient, and reassuring from the start. It was clear she understood how to make a nervous dog feel comfortable, and Georgia ended up doing great with her. Gigi was also very responsive, reliable, and communicative throughout the stay, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It's not easy to find someone I trust with Georgia, but I would absolutely book with Gigi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter.

Danielle was absolutely amazing with Lulu. She treated Lulu with so much kindness, patience, and attention. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Lulu was in such loving hands. I highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and wonderful with dogs. We will definitely be booking with her again. ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
