“Jesse did a phenomenal job taking care of my dog Sirius when I was gone! He went above and beyond and kept me up to date the entire time. I am very thankful for Jesse and will be using him every time I have to go out of town. Jesse is a great person with a huge heart. Your pets couldn’t be in better hands!”

“Sam has taken great care of our dog Rex over the past month, and also added on helping to care for our cats and house while we were away on vacation. He's very flexible and communicative, and has been accommodating to schedule changes throughout the holiday season. We're very thankful for his help in making sure all of our pets are safe and well-cared for when we're away from home!”

“We had a great experience with Jojo walking Chomsky! She had great communication, sent a great update and she was also willing to do a meet n greet beforehand which I really appreciated. Hope she'll be able to walk Chomsky again in the future!”

About: I have experience dog sitting and handling dogs of all ages and sizes! I am compassionate and caring ensuring the best care is provided every time I currently have a very open availability to provide care in the home setting as well as walks and visits. I am passionate for caring for animals and make it a priority to be dependable in my care. I make cleanliness a priority ensuring that the pet is safely and lovingly taken care of while maintaining the cleanliness of the home for the pet owner! Making sure the pet is safe and cared for is always my number one priority at all times including when walking the dogs, inside the home or in the yard etc.
“As I have said on previous reviews, I can’t imagine anyone will ever find anyone as great as Kendyl, we are unfortunately going to need to start decreasing our schedule because my work situation is changing— but will continue to request for Kendyl whenEVER we need Riley coverage!”
About: Years with my own dog taught me that dogs have a few universal talents: finding the muddiest puddle, convincing you they haven’t eaten in days five minutes after dinner, and making every walk an adventure. Volunteering at a shelter reminded me that behind all those funny moments is something even more important—every dog wants to feel safe, understood, and loved. I’ve become pretty fluent in “dog language.” 🐶 That’s why I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and earn their trust. I think it’s the best part of spending time with them. My skills: * Understanding dog behavior and body language * Building trust with dogs of different personalities * Patient and gentle handling * Caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments * Following detailed care instructions * Providing companionship, play, and attention My schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, and giving each dog the individual attention they need. I understand that dogs feel happiest and most comfortable when they can keep their familiar routine. I do my best to create a calm, safe, and consistent environment that feels as close to home as possible while their family is away. I work full-time, seven days a week, so I’m available to provide reliable and consistent care for your pets whenever you need it. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn the little details that make them unique — their favorite activities, walking habits, how they communicate, and what helps them feel comfortable. During each walk, visit, or house sitting stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your furry friend is doing. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel like they’re spending time with someone they trust!
“Lili was great!! Always on time for walks, super flexible with walk routes, and very communicative - Maverick was well taken care of. Will definitely be reaching out to Lili again in the future for help with Maverick!”

“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our little guy during his walk! 😍 He may look like a big boy on the outside, but he’s actually very timid on the inside—and we are so grateful that you approached building a connection with him with such gentle sensitivity. 🙏🏻 Next time, we’ll definitely come straight back to you! 😉”

“This was our first time ever using a dog walker on Rover. Courtney went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving our fur baby with her. She is very responsive, and also provided us updates with pictures. We will definitively will use Courtney again.”

“Jeni is awesome!! So warm, caring and friendly. Her communication is superb sending me pictures and updates about the dogs. She’s also very prompt which I so appreciate. I absolutely will use her again. Thank you Jeni for loving my dogs when I not around to.”
“Denise has been amazing with Stella and Milo. They have lots of energy and she has been great to adapt to their own unique personalities. Stella is 9 1/2yo and started limping one night and she let me know right away sending me videos and pictures. She always sends great updates and pictures which makes my shifts so much better!”

About: Hi! I’ve been dog walking/sitting for about 7 years, growing up my family had lots of different animals so I have vast experience with different pets. I've taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, fishes, reptiles and chickens. But I'm open to any exotic animals as long as you're open to teaching me! I like to provide services like dog sitting, walking and daily check-ins. Prices can vary depending on distance, additional pets, or any extra services. Feel free to contact me regarding your future plans or if you have any questions. I currently work per diem in Woodland Hills, my shifts are 8 hours as I will be starting nursing school at CSUN in may. If this is something you're uncomfortable with or prefer for me to stay home/check on the dog please discuss this with me, I'm flexible! Love and cuddles will be provided to the pups to make up for the time loss 😉I do enjoy going on walks and absolutely do not mind if a pet needs daily or multiple walks while in my care. A pets safety is always #1, I want to make sure you feel comfortable while you're away knowing that their care is in my hands. I travel a lot as well and I like knowing and being aware that my place and my pet are both safe and in trusting hands.
“Nicholle was able to respond to my urgent request and promptly arrange a meet and greet. She did amazing with my GSD who’s really a puppy in a big dog’s body. Would definitely work with her again!”

“I’ve never had the chance to meet Lexy in person, but from what I’ve seen she’s amazing with pets especially dogs! She will always keep you updated with pictures during the walks and after. It was great to see our dog milo with someone trustworthy and friendly.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
