About: Grew up taking care of our family’s two dogs and currently have a senior/special needs rescued ShihPoo, named Maggi, who is my world! I’ve stayed over night as a house/dog/cat sitter for 6 days at a time while taking care of 4 dogs and one cat! I’ve dog sat for roommates, family friends, and family in the past. I absolutely LOVE dogs and have a running joke in my family that I am the “dog whisperer” who can make dogs appear anywhere (like the store, airport, etc.). I am earning my doctorate at CLU, so working to help pay for classes :) *Availability is updated through the end of August 2026!* Mostly weekend availability, with some opportunities for drop-ins/walks sprinkled throughout the week. I am working around classes at CLU, but am very flexible with timing otherwise :) I have wood flooring all over the apartment and have a senior rescue with some potty troubles, so if your little one has an accident, no biggie! I’ve got lots of green throughout our complex and am able to walk on sidewalks with no vehicles nearby for lots of safety :)

About: 🐾 Respectfully providing calm, patient, and personalized care I give every pet. I truly understand that pets are family, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with dogs of different sizes and temperaments, senior pets, cats, and pets that need extra patience, routine, or gentle handling. I’m also comfortable administering medications if needed. I provide reliable communication, photo updates, and genuine companionship — not just quick drop-ins. My adult daughter often joins me, and together we create a calm, caring environment that many pets naturally respond to. Our goal is simple: happy pets, peace of mind for owners, and care you can truly trust. 🐾 ❤️❤️ALWAYS INCLUDES ❤️❤️ 🐶 & 🐱 Free meet-and-greet before your first booking so you and your pets can feel confident and comfortable with us! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my schedule so I’m able to give pets consistent attention without rushing, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, or medications. I plan my days around check-ins and visits, which allows me to be reliable, flexible, and fully present with each pet. I enjoy making pet care part of my everyday rhythm, not something squeezed in. I care for every pet with patience, love, and close attention to their normal routine so both pets and owners feel comfortable and stress-free. Safety, trust, and reliable care are very important to me. I’m happy to provide photo updates and additional check-ins for extra peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾

About: I'm a sensitive, caring responsible individual who loves to play with dogs and with whom dogs love to play. I've worked at the Glendale, CA Humane Society Shelter walking dogs and really enjoyed the experience. I've owned dogs for a good part of my life. However, I recently had to put Taffy, my last dog, to sleep. She was 16 and not doing well. It was heart wrenching and I thought perhaps that rather getting another, I could give the love I have for dogs to others, without having the ultimate burden of ownership. I live in Agoura Hills, CA. There lots of room for dogs to walk and play, lots of trees and grass for dogs to sniff and explore. There are also lots of other dogs in the community and opportunities for dogs to socialize, if the owners and the dogs want. I have a fenced yard and I work from home. I have a flexible schedule. Consequently, I can adapt my schedule to your dog's schedule. I have a fenced yard and I have no other dogs. Even though the house is on two levels, it's easy for dogs to navigate.

Nicky is an absolute gem! She has been walking my puppy a few days a week for a month and my puppy absolutely loves her! Nicky sends photos and videos from every single walk and gives me any important feedback. She is very patient and loving with my puppy and has been 100% reliable. I would have no issue with leaving my pup with her for overnight visits as well.

About: I love dogs and have had dogs all of my live, and had taken care of them when they were puppies, so potty training, playing and keeping and eye on them, and also when they were sick and old, so giving extra attention to their wellbeing. Pets are family members that need to be cared for, treated with respect, as well as provide them with some fun play time. I’m currently working part time so I have time to spend with your pet during week days and can provide visits twice a day in case that is needed. I would keep them on their leash whenever we are outside, always keep the door closed to avoid them running away and follow the house rules.

I love them dearly and took care of all of them with my best ability. I take consideration if an animals has needs or wants an extra walk or two. With play time, potty breaks, walks to parks. I’ll give what their parents want, so your fur babies are well kept and cared for. I love taking pictures and if you like I’ll send you all the cute ones as possible. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cornell. On Rover:

  • 88% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
