About: I grew up with 2+ dogs in my house since I was 5 years old. Primarily vizslas, but also a few terrier mixes. I love all dogs (an abnormal amount), am a very active person, and miss having my own dog. I’ve had one dog of my own who I trained on my own and with puppy school and was very well behaved. I've worked at the Glendale, CA Humane Society Shelter walking dogs and really enjoyed the experience. I've owned dogs for a good part of my life. However, I recently had to put Taffy, my last dog, to sleep. She was 16 and not doing well. It was heart wrenching and I thought perhaps that rather getting another, I could give the love I have for dogs to others, without having the ultimate burden of ownership. I live in Agoura Hills, CA. There lots of room for dogs to walk and play, lots of trees and grass for dogs to sniff and explore. There are also lots of other dogs in the community and opportunities for dogs to socialize, if the owners and the dogs want. I have a fenced yard and I work from home. I have a flexible schedule. Consequently, I can adapt my schedule to your dog's schedule. I have a fenced yard and I have no other dogs. Even though the house is on two levels, it's easy for dogs to navigate.
About: I grew up in the Seattle area on a plot of land with a little farm! I love animals of all shapes and sizes and have dealt with lots of different temperaments and breeds. Although I’m not an expert, I’ve done a lot. In college I volunteered at the humane society and walked dogs and I have two babies of my own (one pug and one cat). I’m currently a swim coach so my commitments are in the evenings for 2-3 hours. Before and after work there will be lots of opportunities to get their energy out and play outside. I’m in an apartment so all dogs must be potty trained and not prone to chewing- or be okay in a crate.
