About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember. My last pet, my soul dog Bella, lived to be 18. We traveled the country together and I got the privilege of being her mommy from 8 weeks old to a little over 18. She has changed my life in so many ways and inspired me to help all other animals in need. I’m extremely caring, attentive and loving. I will treat your pet as if it is my own. However, I’m a bit of a spoiler when it comes to animals but I will lead in anyway that you would expect of me. I look forward to connecting with you and more importantly, your fur babies. I’m currently working 4 days a week as an Esthetician but I will always find time for my babies. My favorite time of day is when I get to be at home snuggling my pup and kitty. I always keep a close eye on my pets and keep anything potentially harmful well out of reach. I always pick up on their anxiousness or when they are not feeling well, and will go completely out of my way to make sure they’re ok!
About: I grew up with dogs and cats in the home and miss having a little friend around. I recently was a dog / house sitter through WorkAway in New Zealand and loved being able to see a new area on walks with a pet. In high school I volunteered with Michelson Found Animals Shelter as well as Best Friends Animal Society in Utah for a Summer. I love all animals - every shape, color, and size! I'm currently living at home for the Summer after spending the year traveling in New Zealand and unemployed. I've got all the time in the world to spend time with your pet outside of hanging out with my family. I'm very diligent and know I can keep your pet safe. I am happy to give them freedom to roam or make sure they stay in your preferred safe zones - whatever you tell me is best!

About: I’m a dog lover (and dog mom myself) and have been around animals my whole life. I’m trustworthy, detail-oriented and very pet focused. I have flexible schedule on weekdays and weekends and would love to work together to find the right time(s) for walks, visits, etc. Let’s talk! Safety is of the utmost importance to me. I am diligent with walks, in-home visits and general pet care. I’m detail-oriented as well.
About: Years with my own dog taught me that dogs have a few universal talents: finding the muddiest puddle, convincing you they haven’t eaten in days five minutes after dinner, and making every walk an adventure. Volunteering at a shelter reminded me that behind all those funny moments is something even more important—every dog wants to feel safe, understood, and loved. I’ve become pretty fluent in “dog language.” 🐶 That’s why I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and earn their trust. I think it’s the best part of spending time with them. My skills: * Understanding dog behavior and body language * Building trust with dogs of different personalities * Patient and gentle handling * Caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments * Following detailed care instructions * Providing companionship, play, and attention My schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, and giving each dog the individual attention they need. I understand that dogs feel happiest and most comfortable when they can keep their familiar routine. I do my best to create a calm, safe, and consistent environment that feels as close to home as possible while their family is away. I work full-time, seven days a week, so I’m available to provide reliable and consistent care for your pets whenever you need it. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn the little details that make them unique — their favorite activities, walking habits, how they communicate, and what helps them feel comfortable. During each walk, visit, or house sitting stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your furry friend is doing. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel like they’re spending time with someone they trust!
“This was my first week using Todd and Rover in general, and he went up and beyond my expectations. He worked really well with my schedule, and my pup liked him right away. He even does a bit of walk training on the walks, amazing!”

About: I’ve owned dogs for the past decade and currently have a small 8 month old puppy named Sugar. She loves other dogs and is so playful. She’s very sweet and submissive, she loves big and small dogs of all sorts. I have an incredibly flexible schedule and I walk Sugar at least 4-5 times a day. She would love a pal to walk, hang, and play with throughout the day. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and a patio that’s puppy proof. My courtyard is gated for extra security and safety. I have no problem with dogs on the couch (I even have a mini staircase).

“Mallory was amazing, she is a kind, caring and attentive person. I felt immediately comfortable meeting her and it was a great experience overall! My little Nugget Remy also appreciated her very much!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and animals ever since I was a child. My family has always had a strong love for dogs that we consider family. I am an active, caring, and a responsible individual who wants to dedicate time to walking dogs! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available during work hours as well as after 5pm. I am open to working with your schedule just let me know the times you need service. When caring for pets, I create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where they can feel at ease. I follow their normal feeding and care routine, make sure they always have fresh water, and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and rest throughout the day. Dogs get regular walks and exercise, and cats are given a quiet, stress-free space to relax and adjust at their own pace. I can also send frequent updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.
“Lili is a very kind and thoughtful sitter. She was flexible with us and accommodated some changes to our schedule. She communicated well and always let us know what was going on with our dog while we were away. It was all greatly appreciated. We will definitely be asking her to watch her the next time we go out of town!”

“Thank you so much, Arezu! We just love Arezu and really appreciate how good she is to my Everest. She always communicates and makes us feel comfortable leaving our beloved Husky mix with her. She is the best!”

About: About Me: Hi, I’m Lucinda! I provide small-group, in-home dog boarding in Pacific Palisades for families in Brentwood, Santa Monica, Malibu, and surrounding West LA areas. Why Dogs (and Owners) Love Staying Here 🐾 Intentionally small group setting 🌿 Large, fully fenced private yard 🧠 Experienced with high-energy and anxious dogs ❤️ Individualized attention, never a kennel environment Caring for dogs isn’t just what I do, it’s what I love. My goal is simple: when you’re away, your dog feels completely safe, engaged, and cared for, not “boarded.” The Environment: Dogs have access to a large, secure backyard where they can run and play on natural grass. Inside, the home is engaging and structured so dogs who need attention or routine feel supported. Special Experience: • Large breeds • High-energy dogs • Dogs with mild anxiety • Pups who need confidence-building or are "still learning" Every dog is treated like family, with consistency and affection so they feel secure while you’re away. I know how hard it is to leave your dog. I send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re safe, engaged, and happy. — Lucinda I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Walks outside in nature, structured playtime in the large yard, rest breaks, and meals are part of a steady routine so dogs feel secure and settled. Your pet is never left alone for long stretches and always has supervision and engagement. I intentionally limit the number of dogs I host so every pup receives focused supervision and individualized attention. I follow each dog’s regular routine closely — including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and bedtime habits, so they feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.

“Megan graciously accepted my very last-minute request to walk our dog. She was very responsive and even cleaned up after my dog. I would definitely reach out to her again. Highly recommended!”

About: I have a deep love for dogs and hands-on experience caring for a variety of pups! I regularly dog-sit for family members, including energetic poodles and smaller breeds, so I know how to handle different personalities and energy levels. What truly sets me apart is my experience with specialized care. I helped care for my grandmother’s dog when his hind legs stopped working, becoming fully comfortable managing a dog who uses a wheelchair for mobility. Because of this, I am incredibly patient, attentive, and confident when it comes to senior dogs or pets with special physical needs. Your pup will be in safe, loving, and understanding hands! I'm currently working remote, so I will have plenty of time dedicated to your pups! I have boarding availability on the weekdays. I can walk dogs at any time during the day. In my home, your pup will have the perfect mix of relaxation and outdoor fun! I have two spacious patios with plenty of room for dogs to lounge safely in the fresh air or stretch their legs. Best of all, I live right next to a park, making it incredibly easy to take your dog out for frequent, fun walks and sniffing adventures. My space is secure, cozy, and setup to feel like a home away from home.

Jason has watched my baby Dodger twice and it’s a stellar experience each time. He’s thoughtful, thorough and very reliable. He makes sure your pet has everything they need as well as what they can/can’t have. He brought in a package of mine too, which I really appreciated. Never disappointed with Jason, 5 stars!

Kate has been absolutely wonderful with my 18-year-old dog, Dixie. Finding someone I trust with her at this stage of life is incredibly important, and Kate has exceeded every expectation. She is always on time, communicative, and very dependable. More importantly, she is incredibly gentle, patient, and attentive with Dixie, who needs extra care due to her age. Kate understands how to navigate stairs carefully, adjusts the pace of walks to Dixie’s needs, and makes sure she is comfortable every step of the way. Dixie absolutely loves her — and that says everything. Beyond being responsible and professional, Kate is genuinely kind and loving with Dixie. I always feel completely comfortable knowing Dixie is in her care. I highly recommend Kate. She is thoughtful, reliable, and truly exceptional.

Rachel was amazing! She was able to step in last minute and walk my dog, which I really appreciated. It was clear right away that my dog adored her, and when they got back, I could tell he had a great walk and was very happy. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!

Bijal is amazing! From the moment we had our meet and greet, it was obvious that Bijal would be a great match to help out with my dog. This was further exemplified by her willingness to go above and beyond to make sure my dog was OK when he had some issues on a walk. She is extremely communicative, responsive, and empathetic. Remy and I are so thankful for Bijal!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
