About: I have been walking my corgi since I was 12 as well as my aunt's Grand Pyrenees since I was 16! (so some experience with big dogs haha) I also have recent experience walking a 7 year old corgi named Bruin (in my pics!) twice a day for two weeks for two times, and sitting for a maine coon and pomeranians, even though my Rover is new! I love all types of dogs and furbabies of all kinds, I'd love to meet yours! I have a very flexible schedule and can work in both West Los Angeles and South Orange County! All I need is to know in advance but I can be available anytime! I'm happy to follow each pet's needs and instructions that make them feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and following their routine, making sure they have a fun time too! I'm also respectful of your home and will keep everything clean and secure.

About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember. My last pet, my soul dog Bella, lived to be 18. We traveled the country together and I got the privilege of being her mommy from 8 weeks old to a little over 18. She has changed my life in so many ways and inspired me to help all other animals in need. I’m extremely caring, attentive and loving. I will treat your pet as if it is my own. However, I’m a bit of a spoiler when it comes to animals but I will lead in anyway that you would expect of me. I look forward to connecting with you and more importantly, your fur babies. I’m currently working 4 days a week as an Esthetician but I will always find time for my babies. My favorite time of day is when I get to be at home snuggling my pup and kitty. I always keep a close eye on my pets and keep anything potentially harmful well out of reach. I always pick up on their anxiousness or when they are not feeling well, and will go completely out of my way to make sure they’re ok!

About: I have been around big dogs my whole life. Grew up with 2 Rottweiler. I’ve always been good with dogs. Sometimes they like me more than their owners. I’ve been raising my own dogs as an adult for the past 5 years and love it. I usually rescuea dog a year on average on the boardwalk but that’s how I ended up keeping a husky. I specialize in skating with your dog or biking. I even have a 4 foot dog trailer for senior dogs to ride in that I’ve got 3 65 pound dogs in. I work weekends at Dogtown Coffee and am a self employed artist. Walking other peoples dog in between walking my dogs is a win win. Depending on the dog I can watch them at my apartment but most likely your place would be better depending on the dog. If it’s at my place we do about 5 walks a day to avoid accidents and feed them in separate rooms. Every morning they are not too tired from the day before we share to Venice Via the bike trail. Thru out the day we walk around the neighborhood usually stopping at Dogtown Coffee. Then Westminster dog park around 5:30 in the summer. Then a cool down period and dinner. Then one last night walk on the beach.

Mallory was wonderful and a true life saver! Work came up and nobody was able to be home with Moose for his mid day walk. Mallory accepted a super last minute request and was even willing to walk him a second time on the spot when I realized I’d be away even longer. She was very communicative and shared lovely pictures that prove Moose enjoyed her company. Thank you!

About: I've taken care of dogs and animals ever since I was a child. My family has always had a strong love for dogs that we consider family. I am an active, caring, and a responsible individual who wants to dedicate time to walking dogs! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available during work hours as well as after 5pm. I am open to working with your schedule just let me know the times you need service. When caring for pets, I create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where they can feel at ease. I follow their normal feeding and care routine, make sure they always have fresh water, and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and rest throughout the day. Dogs get regular walks and exercise, and cats are given a quiet, stress-free space to relax and adjust at their own pace. I can also send frequent updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I have a love and passion for all things dogs, backed by the ability to be able to show them the love and happiness they deserve. I already walk multiple dogs a day currently and also have 2 dogs of my own, one being 140 pounds and the other being reactive on leash so I’d say I’m well trained in areas of concern for some. My family also fosters dogs, 42 and counting so I’d say I’ve done my fair share of walking and sitting of dogs in that regard also :) I currently have a very open job that allows me to spend lots of time with your babies to ensure they’re happy! Dependant on schedules I’m available mostly every morning and most afternoons I would like to start by coming to your house free of charge, in advance of sitting to introduce myself, learn about the area, any concerns or things to look out for. I will ask about the dogs routine and specific details of their day and then implement that into sitting

About: About Me: Hi, I’m Lucinda! I provide small-group, in-home dog boarding in Pacific Palisades for families in Brentwood, Santa Monica, Malibu, and surrounding West LA areas. Why Dogs (and Owners) Love Staying Here 🐾 Intentionally small group setting 🌿 Large, fully fenced private yard 🧠 Experienced with high-energy and anxious dogs ❤️ Individualized attention, never a kennel environment Caring for dogs isn’t just what I do, it’s what I love. My goal is simple: when you’re away, your dog feels completely safe, engaged, and cared for, not “boarded.” The Environment: Dogs have access to a large, secure backyard where they can run and play on natural grass. Inside, the home is engaging and structured so dogs who need attention or routine feel supported. Special Experience: • Large breeds • High-energy dogs • Dogs with mild anxiety • Pups who need confidence-building or are "still learning" Every dog is treated like family, with consistency and affection so they feel secure while you’re away. I know how hard it is to leave your dog. I send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re safe, engaged, and happy. — Lucinda I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Walks outside in nature, structured playtime in the large yard, rest breaks, and meals are part of a steady routine so dogs feel secure and settled. Your pet is never left alone for long stretches and always has supervision and engagement. I intentionally limit the number of dogs I host so every pup receives focused supervision and individualized attention. I follow each dog’s regular routine closely — including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and bedtime habits, so they feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.

About: I grew up with a dog and have always been an animal lover. If my landlord would let me, I would have my own dog. Since I can’t have my own I love to watch my friends’ pets as much as possible. I am a dog person, but love cats too and have experience taking care of both! I work from home so I have plenty of availability to drop in or spend lots of time with your pet. I’m able to do quick check-ins, walks, and extended stays. I have experience with diabetic cats, untrained puppies, and elderly dogs. I treat all animals with love, kindness, and patience. I really enjoy spending time with animals and try to meet them where they are.

He was eager and attentive and listened to my descriptions of her typical actions. I can’t wait for Opal to go on more walks and bond more with Keitel. Hire him!

About: Hi! I’m Hasan Farajov, 25 years old, a student who works from home and absolutely loves spending time outdoors. I believe dogs deserve more than just staying inside—so I love going on long walks and hikes with them, especially around Runyon Canyon, which is super close to my home. I truly enjoy creating fun, active, and loving experiences for every pup I care for. Hopefully, as you can see from my pictures, your dog and I will be a perfect match! I work part-time, so I have a lot of free time 👌 My schedule varies, and I set it myself 📆 I am almost always home ☺️ I live in a duplex with neighbors who have very friendly dog and a cat, so your pet can have a company. I have a backyard and live in a spacious house! 😻 Feel free to message me 📩 Rest assured, your furry friend will be in safe and loving hands while you are away 🥰

About: I have loved pets my whole life. When I was younger I rescued two cats, who I’ve solely taken care of and loved since I got them. Besides that I’ve taken care of and walked various dogs of family friends. I love all animals and would always treat your pet with the respect, love, and care I do my own pets. I am a post grad student who just moved back home trying to figure out what’s next! I currently work a retail job a few times a week with about 5 hour shifts, the longest I’d be away if doing overnight stays. Please always reach out and ask about specific availability as I get my schedules about 2 weeks in advance but can always plan ahead too with time off. Aside from this job I am completely free and available at most times! I am always attentive to any needs my pets or a clients pet would have. I will feed, walk, pet, and play with your pet as to your instructions. Most importantly, I would never do anything to put your pet in a situation of danger and will always treat them with the respect and love they deserve.

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up surrounded by dogs, started walking and caring for them in high school, and now share my life with my own pup (pictured). I’m also comfortable with cats and kittens and genuinely love all animals. As an avid runner currently training for my second marathon, I’m happy to take your dog on energizing walks or runs tailored to their energy level. I’m CPR certified, have successfully cared for up to 12 dogs at once, and am skilled at working around busy schedules. I also have multiple references from past clients. I’d love the chance to give your pup an active, happy day and give you complete peace of mind. I have excellent flexibility for walks, drop-ins, or longer sits. I just moved to the area and can’t wait to explore the neighborhood on foot with your pup! In your home, I will make sure to ask all the important questions so I know exactly how you take care of your pet. It is important to me that both you and your pets needs are met.

Kate has been absolutely wonderful with my 18-year-old dog, Dixie. Finding someone I trust with her at this stage of life is incredibly important, and Kate has exceeded every expectation. She is always on time, communicative, and very dependable. More importantly, she is incredibly gentle, patient, and attentive with Dixie, who needs extra care due to her age. Kate understands how to navigate stairs carefully, adjusts the pace of walks to Dixie’s needs, and makes sure she is comfortable every step of the way. Dixie absolutely loves her — and that says everything. Beyond being responsible and professional, Kate is genuinely kind and loving with Dixie. Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pacific Palisades. On Rover:

  • 88% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
