About: I’ve personally had many dogs and cats throughout both my childhood and now adulthood and consider them my family. I’m patient, kind, caring and very good with any and all special care needs for younger or older pets. I’m currently working part time and remotely from my home so I have a lot of time and flexibility / openings daily as may be needed. I have a fenced yard in a nice, safe neighborhood with one male terrier mix dog and one long haired domestic long hair cat. About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. They deserve the same consideration we give people! Currently only offering walks, not boarding.

I have extensive experience with "aggressive" breeds, we get each other :) I work in a flexible work environment and can accommodate easily with at least 2 days notice during the week and even more availability on weekends. About: I have taken care of my own dog and friend's dogs for almost 10 years. Understanding their needs and befriending dogs makes me likeable as a pet caregiver. I trained my family dog myself and he is such a great boy. I have also groomed small dogs before and am very gentle. I currently have a hybrid work schedule where I am home Thursday, Friday, and then of course the weekends are flexible and would love some companionship from a dog while I am home.
