About: I’ve personally had many dogs and cats throughout both my childhood and now adulthood and consider them my family. I’m patient, kind, caring and very good with any and all special care needs for younger or older pets. I’m currently working part time and remotely from my home so I have a lot of time and flexibility / openings daily as may be needed. I have a fenced yard in a nice, safe neighborhood with one male terrier mix dog and one long haired domestic long hair cat. I work remotely so am home with my pets and any additional friends I may meet who come by! Very animal safe!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In addition to having a dog of my own, I've fostered numerous puppies, dogs, and kittens, which has given me experience with everything from energetic young pets to those needing extra patience and attention. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I help care for animals and support their well-being. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently on a very flexible schedule and available weekdays and most weekends, allowing me to accommodate pet care needs, walks, drop-ins, and boarding requests. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet like family. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, follow your pet’s routine closely, and ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away.

About: Growing up, I probably had every single pet imaginable in my life. My mom would always get books on dogs and dog breeds, and my grandpa would say "I'll draw the line if you start bringing home books about horses." While I never had a pony of my dreams, I had the opportunity to help raise puppies, guinea pigs, cats, hamsters, fish; you name it, I probably had it. Right now, I have two cats and live in West Hollywood (two cross-country moves with my two little rescue kitties later!) I've bottle fed puppies, applied ointment to my cats butt, and everything in between. I love caring for any animal and find so much joy in being around pets. I am currently fully available at any time in the day and would love to fill my time caring for your fuzzy family members. Since recently relocating to West Hollywood, I have a fully open daily and weekly schedule, which means I can give your pets consistent attention whenever they need it. I make sure every pet gets the care and attention they need, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a drop-in for play and cuddles, or house sitting services. I follow routines, keep pets safe and happy, and make every visit fun and stress-free.

About: I love dogs and truly enjoy being around them. I share my home with Oscar, my friendly 70-pound Goldendoodle, who absolutely loves people and other dogs. He's happiest when he has company and enjoys making new friends. An active lifestyle is a big part of our daily routine. We go on long walks every day, enjoy trips to the park, and make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and outdoor time. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, or simply being part of the pack, they'll have lots of opportunities to stay happy and active. At home, dogs are treated like family. They're welcome on the couch, can sleep on the bed if that's what they're used to, and will receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and comfortable environment where your pet feels right at home. I love dogs and enjoy having them as part of my daily routine. I work a flexible schedule, which allows me plenty of time to give your dog attention, companionship, and exercise. My Goldendoodle, Oscar, is very friendly and loves having dog friends around. About: Hi — I provide private, one-dog-at-a-time care in a calm, controlled home environment. I’ve had dogs my entire life, including large and high-energy breeds like German Shepherds, so I’m very comfortable with their routines, behavior, and exercise needs. I focus on creating a relaxed, structured, low-stress environment where dogs feel safe and secure while their owners are away. Over the years, I’ve trained spirited dogs to be responsive and under control, including off-leash work and hand signals. I’m attentive, intuitive, and experienced in reading a dog’s energy and adjusting accordingly to keep them calm, engaged, and well cared for. I provide an orthopedic dog bed and elevated food bowls for your pooch's comfort. I work from home as a writer, so I’m here throughout the day and able to give your dog consistent attention and supervision. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate different drop-off and pick-up times. I keep a calm, structured routine with regular walks and downtime, so your dog feels comfortable and well cared for. I provide a calm, clean, and controlled home environment with one dog at a time to ensure safety and attention. Dogs are supervised, taken out regularly for walks and bathroom breaks, and kept on a consistent routine based on your instructions. I only accept well-behaved, house-trained dogs and take time to understand each dog’s needs, personality, and comfort level. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress environment where your dog feels secure and well cared for.

About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. They deserve the same consideration we give people! Currently only offering walks, not boarding.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 5 years old, and over the years I’ve had two Shih Tzus of my own who taught me just how much joy and love pets bring into our lives. From playful puppies to gentle seniors, I’ve learned how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. What sets me apart is not only my lifelong experience, but also the patience, responsibility, and genuine care I bring to every pup I meet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or snuggles, I make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and happy while in my care. As a full-time student, I’m looking for part-time opportunities that fit into my weekly schedule. I make sure your pup always has the care and attention they deserve! When caring for dogs, safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and any special instructions from their owner to make sure they feel at home—whether that’s in my space or yours. I give pets plenty of love and attention while keeping a watchful eye to ensure they’re safe on walks, properly fed, and comfortable in their environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own, because trust is just as important as care.

About: I have had pets all of my life and they truly bring me so much joy. I have had dogs as pets all of my life and I understand their needs and how to give them lots of love! I have experience with puppies, small dogs, big dogs, and elder doggies. I wasn’t allowed to have cats due to my dad’s allergies, but I volunteered at CARMA cat shelter for over a year to love on kitties in need of homes, and to learn how to understand cat caretaking. I love training my parent’s dog and teaching him fun tricks (rolling over, play dead, stand up). I’ve been trusted enough to take care of my friend’s cats and dogs when they are on vacation, it brings me so much joy to be trusted with and love on good doggies and kitties. I am a college student, so now that school is out of session for me, I am only working a part-time job. Outside of that job, I have plenty of time and nights to walk/stay the nights with your pets. I own a car so I have reliable means to travel to your homes, and I will always communicate quickly about how my schedule will fit into your pet’s needs. I will always follow any directions about how to care for your pet and your home. I will leave your home cleaner than it was before and try my best to make it seem as if I was not there. I want you to feel like your home is completely safe while you are away so all anxieties are eased. I will send you cute photos of your pet and always give you updates when needed!

About: I’ve taken care of two (now senior) dogs (walks, feeding, vet appts, medication, grooming) over the past 11-12 years, since I was just around 12. I also have a 1y/o kitten Lola who I’ve trained and fully own myself. I also have experience cat sitting and socializing from various shelter volunteer experiences around LA. I’m currently awaiting a big move to Berkeley for law school, so I have lots of extra time to spend caring for your animals! I only have a few weekly responsibilities, but otherwise very flexible for last minute appointments. I always ensure a clean environment safe from dangerous items or situations. I am a neat freak, so I like my animal’s space to feel as clean and organized as possible. I also understand the value of socialization and quality time, which every animal needs on some level or another. I am an open book and receptive to any and all special demands that your animal may need :)

About: When I was 25, my fiancé and I adopted a Dalmatian mix into our first home together. He was the first living thing I ever worried about more than myself — that kind of devotion, that unconditional love, it stays with you and shapes how you show up for every animal after. I adapt to what each dog needs. High-energy dogs get proper exercise and stimulation, seniors get patience and a gentler pace, and anxious dogs get time to warm up on their own terms. I follow routines closely because consistency is what makes dogs feel safe, especially when their people are away. I’m based in West LA, I know the neighborhood well, and I’m available for walks and house sitting. Your home will be treated with care and respect. Walks are always on leash, I stay alert to what’s around us, and I send regular photos and updates so you’re never left wondering how your dog is doing. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to meet your dog. Pet care is a top priority in my daily and weekly routine, and I pride myself on being flexible and available to accommodate a variety of schedules. Whether it’s morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening cuddles, I can seamlessly integrate your pet’s care into my day. I’m an early riser, so morning walks or feeding times fit naturally into my routine. Throughout the day, I can provide drop-in visits, walks, or companionship, ensuring your pet has consistent care and attention while you’re away. Weekends are also wide open for longer adventures like hikes, park visits, or simply spending quality time at home, depending on what your pet loves most. My goal is to ensure your pet feels cared for and supported, regardless of how busy your schedule may be. With me, you can rest assured that their routine stays steady, and their happiness and well-being remain my priority. I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a loving environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home or yours. I ensure all spaces are clean, secure, and pet-friendly, follow routines meticulously, and provide plenty of love and attention to keep pets comfortable and happy. Walks are always on a leash, and I stay alert to avoid stressful situations while ensuring your pet enjoys their time. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality, building trust and providing personalized care. Regular updates and photos keep you reassured, knowing your pet is in safe, reliable hands.

About: If you want peace-of-mind while you’re away, I’m the one you’ve been looking for! Hi! I’m Jabril, a fiction author with a decade of experience caring for dogs and cats. My clients remark on not only my dependability and communication but their pets’ genuine excitement every time I show up. If you’re someone who travels a lot, works insane hours or just needs a little more support, let me step in and take the load off! You can count on me to give your furry friend all the love they deserve because I know pet care is more than just feedings and walks—it’s about maximizing enjoyment and making the most of this life. I’m experienced with older dogs, good with puppies and can administer oral or topical medication. I specialize in long walks, extended sits and sensitivity to your furry friend’s every need. Maybe you’re a busy health care professional, public speaker or sales rep. Maybe long days at the office or extended trips keep you away longer than you’d like. I can be that other trusted adult, your dedicated pet nanny. For new clients, I require a short introductory visit at least 48 hrs before a sit, so I can acclimate to your furbabies in their natural environment, with you present.

I can't recommend Egle highly enough. She has been absolutely fantastic with my miniature schnauzer, Alfie. From day one, it was clear that she has a natural ability with dogs and genuinely cares about the animals she works with. One thing I particularly appreciate is that she's willing to incorporate specific training and behavioral reinforcement during walks. Whenever I've asked her to work on something with Alfie, she's been incredibly receptive and consistent, which has made a noticeable difference. It's rare to find someone who goes beyond simply walking your dog and actively helps reinforce good habits. She's also exceptionally reliable. She's always on time, communicates proactively and provides thoughtful, detailed updates after each walk. The notes and photos give me confidence that Alfie is getting great care and allow me to stay informed on how he's doing. Most importantly, Alfie absolutely loves her. It's obvious she knows how to connect with dogs, and I always feel completely comfortable knowing he's in her care. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, professional, knowledgeable and genuinely great with dogs, I would wholeheartedly recommend

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Century City. On Rover:

  • 89% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
