“Alicia and James took amazing care of our dog! They were very flexible when we had to extend our stay, and were super communicative with updates and photos. We can’t wait to use their services again!”

“Sierra was wonderful with Archie! She was very communicative throughout his stay and sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. You could genuinely tell she cared about him and treated him with so much love and attention. We felt completely comfortable knowing Archie was in such good hands and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Lucero is great! She took my last minute booking, and followed my instructions to take care of my pop! Sent thorough updates multiple times a day, and tons of photos and videos. Gonna book again next week! Thanks!”

“Audrey was phenomenal! Our puppy had an amazing time playing with her dog over the few days they spent together. Audrey was very responsive and enthusiastic about my dog’s care throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend Audrey to anyone!”

“Thank you Rosario and Ryan for another wonderful stay🥰 It was Bisco’s first overnight stay with them, and she sometimes doesn’t eat because she can get a little nervous/anxious at a stranger’s house, but she ate her meal with them just fine. Thank you for providing a clean, warm, comfortable, and safe space for Bisco🙏🏻 Will book again and highly recommend for other fur parents!”

“Rene is absolutely wonderful. Our dog is quite old now and the love, patience, and care she shows her truly means everything to us. From the start Rene has been reliable and incredibly attentive and it’s clear she genuinely loves what she does. We trust her completely and feel so grateful to have found someone who treats our dog like her own. We’ve been over the moon happy with Rene and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Victoria was amazing! She was able to watch my dog on very short notice for a family emergency and was very communicative throughout the whole process. My dog was clearly well cared for and happy during her stay.”

“Natalia was very attentive and sent frequent updates. It was nice to know we’d get updates and not have to worry about the dog while we’re out of town. Def recommend!”

“My dog and I had the absolute best experience with Julie Anne. She is so sweet, kind, and caring, and really goes above and beyond in the communication department, which helped give me peace of mind during my dog’s stay. It was obvious to me even through the pictures and videos that Fiora was having an amazing time. I recommend Julie Anne wholeheartedly.”

“Brittany and Nick took AMAZING care of our Gucci. We were sent updates with photos daily. They made an otherwise skittish and fearful dog feel at home and comfortable immediately. He was so happy with them, and we are so happy with the experience. Do not hesitate to book with Brittany and Nick.”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little hesitant—especially since Brodie requires medication with every meal. Scott & Chris were fantastic and immediately put my mind at ease. During their 3-night stay, they kept me updated every day with messages and photos, and it was clear that Brodie and Dylan were well cared for and happy. Their communication was excellent, which made traveling for work much less stressful. I highly recommend Scott & Chris. In fact, I already tried to book them again, but they were unavailable! With my frequent work travel, they’ll definitely be my first choice whenever they’re available. Thank you both for taking such great care of my pups! 🐾🐶”

“Roxy had a great stay with Amira! She was so close and cared for. Amira had great communication, and Roxy was pampered and in excellent hands, I know we will rebook!”

“Carmen was wonderful with my little princess. She took great care of her and I feel like she listened to me and was very good at communication with me while she was taking care of Uma. Thank you Carmen”

“Radka and her family watched over my fur babies, and were amazing sitters! They were very caring and took good care of both my pups. I would go back to her again if I need a dogsitter for my pups 😊”

“Martin is the best sitter we’ve found from Rover! We have a reactive dog and we’re very selective with who we leave our dog with—Martin exceeded all expectations! He is very communicative and flexible. He sends lots of updates and photos. Our dog immediately loved and trusted him from the very beginning and we can’t wait to book with Martin again!”

“My pup and I were in Los Angeles from out of state and I needed a place to leave Pepper overnight so my friends nd I could go to a restaurant for dinner and a museum the next day. I can’t say enough positive things about Pepper’s stay with Jaime and Todd. They were absolutely terrific. Their home is perfectly set up for a pup’s stay, including a doggie door to their lovely enclosed backyard. Jaimie and Todd are delightful, kind, warm, welcoming and they clearly love taking care of dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!”

“Breanna is the best!!! She was so attentive, loving, and provided me with daily updates. Highly recommend! I will be using Breanna again the next time I need a sitter :)”

“Chelsi has a lovely family, her children and her dog Leo are super super friendly to my dog. Chelsi also takes care of my dog into the very details. Sending photos/video updates many times throughout the day. Makes us worry less and she's super reliable”

“Jennifer has become a second family for our little Agnes. Jennifer is caring, responsive and accommodating. We will continue to have Jennifer dog sit for us as long as she is willing to! Would recommend 5/5.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Century City
Alex and Jake really took great care of our senior pup! They sent lots of updates and made me feel super comfortable. They clearly are very experienced with older dogs and hounds. Cooper even made a new bestie in Leroy! We will absolutely go to them the next time he needs a cozy place to hang. :)

We are from out of town and very hesitant to leave our Ridley to someone unfamiliar, but Lu took away our worry as soon as we met her. She is very friendly and kind to our furbaby. We were updated with pictures which we truly appreciated. We would definitely reach out to her again when we are in Los Angeles to take care of our baby.

Our dog, Loki, had a great time with Audrey and Truffles! From the very beginning Audrey was extremely communicative and sent us plenty of pictures and videos, all without us ever needing to ask, and kept us updated on his daily feedings and medicine intake. When Loki started to get runny stools (he's can sometimes get stress-related diarrhea while we're away), Audrey asked us if she could feed him rice, sweet potato, and pumpkin to help ease his stomach - going above and beyond what we'd expect a Rover to do for us. We'd love to rebook Audrey again if we ever need to step out of town again!

Amira was amazing with my 16 yo chihuahua mix! It was my first time leaving her with a sitter, so I was an anxious mama but Amira made me feel very at ease with her calm, supportive nature. I got regular photo and video updates and could relax on my trip knowing she was in good hands. A much needed break from single parenting a senior fur baby! Thank you, Amira!

We had such a great experience with Rosario and Ryan! They were incredibly kind, responsible, and communicative throughout Fred and Flo’s stay. They sent us lots of pictures and updates while we were away, which we really appreciated and gave us peace of mind. Most importantly, Fred and Flo clearly loved their time with them! We’re so grateful for the care they gave our pups and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and wonderful sitter. We would happily book with them again!

Sophia was wonderful with Lola this weekend! She looked after her really, really well and gave her lots of cuddles and attention, which made us so happy. She was communicative throughout, and we came home to a very happy, well-loved doggy. We were really pleased with how well she cared for Lola, and have already asked if Sophia is available to look after Lola again! ❤️

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
