“Kimberley is the best!! She kept my kitty in a smaller space so that she can acclimate better to the new location and would slowly expose my kitty to other pets if there’s any. Kimberley is very responsible and communicative. Will definitely book with her again!!”

“We are so grateful that we found Lucero. She gave wonderful care to our dog. It was clear from the updates and videos that he was loved, comfortable and well cared while we were away. We could tell that our dog was happy and felt at home with her. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving and caring dog sitter.”

“Natalia is amazing! My dog Maki has stayed with her twice and she is my go to now. She sends so many updates and pays so much attention to details and instructions. I would highly recommend her to anyone”

“Audrey was phenomenal! Our puppy had an amazing time playing with her dog over the few days they spent together. Audrey was very responsive and enthusiastic about my dog’s care throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend Audrey to anyone!”

“Salud was wonderful with my dog Cedric! He was so happy when I picked him up and Salud was great with communication, and even accommodated a late night pick up after my flight was delayed. I’d definitely recommend Salud!”

“There are few people I feel comfortable enough to leave my pup Luca with, and Mai is at the top of the list. It is more than clear how much she cares for him and how safe he feels with her. He has now stayed with Mai 3x and she is now my go-to person for all future trips. Mai is extremely responsive, and treats Luca as her own when he’s with her. Mai is a trustworthy, responsible, kind person that I’m so grateful to have found. Thank you Mai!”

“This is our second time with Ellie. She is wonderful, and very communicative! My dog clearly loved her, and got so excited to go back a second time. Highly recommend:)”

“Hailey took wonderful care of our 6-month-old puppy, Piper, while we were away for a week. She sent lots of updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind, and was always quick to respond whenever we had questions. It was clear that Piper was having a great time and getting plenty of attention and care. We came home to a happy puppy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’d absolutely book with Hailey again for boarding or any other service. Highly recommend!”

“Alicia and James took amazing care of our dog! They were very flexible when we had to extend our stay, and were super communicative with updates and photos. We can’t wait to use their services again!”

“Jennifer has become a second family for our little Agnes. Jennifer is caring, responsive and accommodating. We will continue to have Jennifer dog sit for us as long as she is willing to! Would recommend 5/5.”

“Jax had another great stay with Vicky! She sent regular photos and updates and made me feel at ease leaving Jax for the 4th of July weekend. I highly recommend Vicky and she will be the first person I reach out to next time I need care for Jax.”

“Breanna is the best!!! She was so attentive, loving, and provided me with daily updates. Highly recommend! I will be using Breanna again the next time I need a sitter :)”

“Brittany is the best! My pup Nala is a sweetheart but deals with a lot of reactivity issues and it’s hard to find someone with enough experience, patience, trust, and love to watch her while I’m out of town. Brittany was more than willing and able to work with her and give her a chance. Brittany was AMAZING with her. I didn’t worry once about Nala while I was out of the country. She walked her multiple times per day, played with her, made sure she was always safe, and gave her so much love. She already has crates for large dogs at her home, which made everything so much easier. She gave me lots of updates, pictures, and videos every single day. She followed all of the instructions I left and took her job very seriously. Nala loved her so much and I could tell she felt right at home. Thank you so much Brittany!”

“Rest assured, every time we go out of town we have nothing to worry about now. We are very happy and lucky to have found Tim and Andrea. Mister Rogers loves them!!!”

“I felt so comfortable leaving Spirit with Renee. She sent videos of him - both comfortable parked on her couch (in his favorite spot on the back of the couch) - and in friendly interaction with other dogs. She also showed a wonderful video of playing with him with the hose (without getting him wet) where he was having a great time. Her place is set up with easy access for the dogs to go inside or out, which I liked, and the whole place is like a living room designed for dogs. Each dog can have their own spot. She has more dogs during the day and a few at night. All the dogs are small and very well-mannered. It was a perfect combination of loving playful care and socialization (which is great for my dog who can be so shy.). Will definitely use her again and I highly recommend her.”

“Andrew and his family took such great care of our skittish rescue dachshund who had never been kenneled nor left with strangers before. Andrew was VERY responsive and kept us up to date on how our little guy was doing over the five days. Andrew was kind enough to agree to a quick meet and greet a month prior to make sure both our dogs got along (thankfully they did as Andrew’s dog is super sweet). We will definitely look to Andrew and his family to watch over our pet again in the future.”

“Julia & Matt are amazing sitters! I felt very comfortable leaving my Pomeranian, Prim, with them. Julia sent me many updates and photos of Prim while I was away which gave me much peace of mind. Would definitely book again and highly recommend their services! 10/10! ⭐️🐾”

“Vasilisa always takes great care of my dog Sundae and I have so much peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands when I am not around. I’ve booked with Vasilisa multiple times and I trust her to give Sundae lots of love, attention, and take care of all her needs. Highly highly recommend!!”

“Katherine was fantastic with Rocky! It’s not always easy managing his special rules and quirks, but she handled everything with patience and care. Rocky seemed safe, happy, and well cared for the entire time. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to treat their pet like family!”

John took excellent care of Brodie and Dylan while I was away. He made sure they got plenty of long walks, gave extra attention to Brodie’s medication schedule, and kept me updated with photos throughout their stay. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. I would definitely recommend John to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Alejandro while we were away for a week! He kept us updated with frequent messages and tons of pictures. Even though his dog Benny was twice our dog's size, he was so gentle, patient, and played amazingly well with her. Our pup definitely found a new best friend. We will absolutely be booking with Alejandro again!

My pup and I were in Los Angeles from out of state and I needed a place to leave Pepper overnight so my friends nd I could go to a restaurant for dinner and a museum the next day. I can’t say enough positive things about Pepper’s stay with Jaime and Todd. They were absolutely terrific. Their home is perfectly set up for a pup’s stay, including a doggie door to their lovely enclosed backyard. Jaimie and Todd are delightful, kind, warm, welcoming and they clearly love taking care of dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

This was my first time having our family dog Espresso staying with strangers via Rover for multiple days. We were all nervous, but put at ease with Tim & Andrea’s communication. We received multiple photos and videos of Espresso each day and the communication was also very kind. I am so thankful to Tim & Andrea for watching over Espresso and being so understanding and patient of him and his personality. Espresso bit through his harness and they were prepared enough to have another one ready for him. Truly they went above and beyond with this. So glad we went with them and had an amazing first experience. Thank you Tim & Andrea! I really trust your professionalism and expertise and would definitely rebook in the future or recommend others to you two.

Kimberly was fantastic with Marley! She sent regular updates and pictures throughout the day, which gave me total peace of mind while I was out. She was quick to respond to messages and even accommodated an early pickup without any hassle. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. I'd trust her with Marley again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Truly a wonderful sitter for my pup, Hank! Martin was perfect—hr clearly was so caring and attentive for my pup, followed all directions for his medications and special diet, and gave a ton of updates each day. I felt so comfortable knowing Hank was safe and cared for while I was on my trip. Would absolutely recommend and use again.

This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little hesitant—especially since Brodie requires medication with every meal. Scott & Chris were fantastic and immediately put my mind at ease. During their 3-night stay, they kept me updated every day with messages and photos, and it was clear that Brodie and Dylan were well cared for and happy. Their communication was excellent, which made traveling for work much less stressful. I highly recommend Scott & Chris. In fact, I already tried to book them again, but they were unavailable! With my frequent work travel, they’ll definitely be my first choice whenever they’re available. Thank you both for taking such great care of my pups! 🐾🐶

We have never had a better Rover sitter than Travis. He was clear and direct with communication and always asked the right questions. Travis was so incredibly thorough with his updates about our girl- I loved reading the messages every day. We could just tell she was being taken care of properly (and then some) and we just picked her up and she looks so healthy and happy! If I was still living in Los Angeles I would never use anyone else. Thank you SO much for allowing us to vacation with ease.

I can’t recommend Samuel enough. He took incredible care of my German Shepherd, Shadow, and went above and beyond when Shadow got sick — he took him to my vet when he developed persistent diarrhea while I was away, and was great about giving him his medicine to help him feel better. He kept me informed the entire time with regular updates and the cutest photos and videos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I was pleased to see how much Shadow enjoyed him — he can be quite stingy with his affections and doesn’t warm up to just anyone. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate pet sitter that you and your dog will both love.

Vladim was great with Bean! Bean can be a little more challenging than your average dog, but Vladim was patient, reliable, and clearly committed to making sure he was well cared for. He kept us updated with great communication throughout the stay, which we really appreciated. It was clear Bean was in good hands, and we’d happily book with Vladim again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
