“Aolani cared for our two dogs confined to a hotel room while we attended our son’s wedding. She was competent, cheerful, totally reassuring that everything was fine. We recommend her in superlatives!”

“Thank you Samantha for taking care of Pablo and staying with him over the holidays!! Thank you also for washing the sheets, loading the dishwasher, and tidying up, even though you didn’t have to do that. It was nice to come home to a clean home!”

“Margaret has really good communication skills and took daily photos while walking my husky dog and sent text messages on a daily basis. I will use her again in the future and can recommend her services.”

“Molly was great with my puppy Sky, they connected immediately! She stayed at my house over New Year's Eve and made me feel totally comfortable leaving my pup for the first time overnight with someone else; grateful to have found Molly!!”

“Tommy was exceptional with our pets!! He was extremely communicative and responsible. He asked questions about each of our pets and made us feel very comfortable that they were in good hands. We will definitely be using Tommy again!”
About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. When I didn’t have my own, I always took care of my friends and family dogs. I have always had a special relationship with each individual pup, and I would love to get to know all the quirks and needs of your precious dog(s). My family’s dog is named Cali, and she is truly my best friend. She is in New York now, so I cannot see her as much and am needing some doggy attention from others in the mean time. I know what it is like to feel nerves leaving your dog and making sure they feel safe and happy, and I hope to create that same environment for your dog. I am a post college graduate who majored in social work, and I have always had a need to care for others. My most recent experience is spending the past two months house sitting for 3 amazing dogs. One was elderly and the others were two big puppies. I hope to continue this summer having fun with new fluffy friends and making sure you can enjoy any vacation, obligations, or other activities knowing your loved ones are in good hands. I am currently doing a gap year before I head to do my master’s degree in New York City. That means I have loads of flexible time to perform pet care and work on your time! I expect to know at least 3 days before. Making sure pets are understood and supported is my biggest priority. Being in a new environment or with a new person is scary and overwhelming. It’s important for me to understand their needs and big feelings before putting them in different situations. I treat everyone’s dog like my own-meaning loads to attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, talks, and treats. It’s important for dogs to not just be taken care of at the bare minimum-but to be enriched, active, and engaged when I am around.
About: Hi! I’m Natalie, a UCLA Psychology student who genuinely loves animals. I’ve cared for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors over the years and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I enjoy staying active, so walks and outdoor play are always something I look forward to, and I’ll send plenty of photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. As a UCLA student, I balance classes and work while making pet care a priority in my schedule. I’m committed to being reliable, communicating promptly, and providing quality care. My availability varies throughout the week, but I always do my best to accommodate each family’s needs whenever possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they feel secure while you’re away. I’ll respect your home as if it were my own. I will keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet receives lots of love, attention, exercise.
“She took great care of Mila while I was away. Mila just had back surgery a few months ago and she moves slowly. I felt at ease with Emma watching her. Super grateful for her care!”

About: I’ve grown up my entire life with Dogs ranging in size from Chihuahua to black lab, including puppies to senior dogs. If I could have a dog of my own, I would, but given my strict pet policy, I will gladly take the alternative, which is watching someone else’s. I work fully remote, so pet sitting fits my schedule pretty easily. I do ask for advance notice, but I am an extremely active individual and love all animals. I treat pets that I sit as if they were my own. I love giving affection to animals and going on walks and spending as much time as I can showing them as much love as they show us
“Ashton did a great job taking care of our critters!!! She stayed with them over a long weekend and the house was spotless and all the animals happy as could be when we got home. Thanks Ashton!!!”

“Dominoe was amazing! She stepped in to help us at the very last minute and took wonderful care of our pup. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust her again!”

“Elizabeth was AMAZING and our pup loved her! This was the first time we left our pup for an extended period of time since we adopted her 3 years ago. Elizabeth was so caring and attentive to her. Thank you, Elizabeth!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of affection. I always focus on keeping dogs safe, happy, and relaxed while their owners are away, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m fully available on weekends from Friday evenings to Monday mornings and can provide consistent care, regular walks, feeding, and supervision. Great for dogs who need extra attention or routine. I’ll customize my schedule perfectly to fit your needs 🐾 I aim to create a safe, clean, and loving environment where dogs feel at home. I keep a close eye on behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I never leave dogs unattended in unsafe situations. I treat every dog with patience and respect, just like I would my own.
“Shontel was absolutely the best and I will definitely rebook her as well as seek her out! She was so sweet with my two little ones who just absolutely adored her. Great energy and super reliable with messages and pictures! Came back and I think my dogs wished it was her! Seriously the best!!”
“As usual Paige was amazing with the dogs! They were super relaxed after we got home—a sign they were stress-free while we were away—and while they were excited to see us they were sad to see her leave!! They just adore her and so do we!”

Mahita watched our 3 dachshunds for a total of 10 nights, including our 18 yr old who needs medication 3 times a day. She did an amazing job caring for our pups and home while away. She shared photo updates and even performed a couple small tasks around the home. We 100% will be booking with Mahita again.

Sarah was so wonderful with Bucatini. He instantly loved her, which made us feel comfortable leaving him for a long weekend. She asked good questions about his routines and quirks, sent us lots of great photos, and communicated daily. We’ll definitely book with her again!

Hania is very sweet and communicates well. We felt very comfortable with her staying in our home overnight. She also went above and beyond cleaning up before leaving. Our dog is very selective with who he’s comfortable with, but she was able to win him over eventually. We will absolutely be booking Hania again!

Emily crushed it! She was super throughout the entire process. Will definitely use again. She was very proactive from the first message - setting up a meet and greet. She was great with Rory during the meeting. For the stay, she was also great! Updates came in frequently, she asked questions, etc. Zero concerns or questions with how our pet was doing. At the end of the stay, she provided an overall summary and some thoughts on Rory which were super helpful. Our house was kept as if no one had stayed here - in a good way! Clean and tidy. Thanks again Emily!!!

Ashton stayed in my home, with my dog Lulu, for two weeks while I traveled for work. Most importantly Lulu was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for when I returned. Ashton was also just a great house guest. She was clean, quiet, and communicative. 10/10 will rebook with Ashton!

Anna stayed at my home with my golden girl. Aurora over the 4th weekend. Aurora warmed up to her immediately, even cuddling on the couch and bed with her! It was my first time not having a friend watch my pup while I was out of town so I was a little nervous, but Anna sent a bunch of pictures (btw she’s also a great photographer) of them having a great time together and it really put me at ease. Her communication was great, she was very timely and I appreciated her coming to meet Aurora and get a tour of the house before I headed out of town. I genuinely did hours of research and reading reviews as a first time Rover user and Anna’s profile really stood out to me, I understand why she has so many repeat clients and wonderful reviews! She also left the house in a beautiful condition which I really appreciated after driving back from a roadtrip to a nice, clean house. I would love to have Anna back to watch Aurora anytime she needs care as I know she was in great hands and very loved while I was away!

Georgie absolutely loved her time with Katy! It was so nice to have a sitter who paid such close attention to my dog’s needs and sent daily updates of the great time they were having. When I returned home I could barely tell anyone had been staying in my place it was so spotless and tidy, exactly as I left it. Will definitely be booking Katy again, she’s very attentive and respectful, and Georgie would say she’s a very fun adventure buddy.

I can’t recommend Jason enough! He housesat for a couple of overnight stays while I was in Palm Springs, and he took absolute elite care of my dog, my precious and feisty girl Jolene. She had the best time with him! you could tell she was happy, relaxed, and well cared for the whole time I was gone. What really stood out was how far he went beyond the basics. He kept my home tidy and comfortable the entire stay, so coming home felt just as good as leaving..no stress, just a HAPPY dog and a clean house. That kind of thoughtfulness and respect for someone else’s space says a lot about his character. Honestly, the peace of mind Jason gave me while I was away was priceless. I never once worried about Jolene or my home. I trust him completely and will absolutely be booking Jason again for Jolene. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your home and pet like their own, look no further!

Shaakir was great with my 3 dogs and cat over fourth of july weekend! One of my dogs is epileptic and requires a special diet and medication and Shaakir was excellent with her. Everything went smoothly and will be booking again. You can trust your fur babies with Shaakir.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Century City on Rover is $64 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 13,813 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Century City. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Century City walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Century City maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Century City choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
