“I can't recommend Scott enough! 🐾 I booked him to care for our dog Dexter, who is very anxious and follows a strict routine. From the moment they met, Dexter—who is typically very shy and slow to warm up—immediately took a liking to Scott. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. We were gone for two weeks on an international trip, and I was extremely nervous about leaving Dexter for that long. Scott stayed at our home to help maintain Dexter’s routine and reduce his anxiety. He sent daily updates with photos and videos, and his communication was 100% consistent and reliable throughout our time away. 📸🐶💬 When we returned, we were blown away. Dexter was calm, happy, and relaxed—as if we had never left. There was no sign of stress or anxiety, which is a true testament to the level of care Scott provided. Our home was also in perfect condition—Scott took just as great care of our space as he did of Dexter. She sent daily pictures of my cat to let me know all was going ok, and would send more if I requested. I've had prior house sitters that have spent little time actually in my home while they worked other jobs, but when I'm out of town I like to know that someone is around and giving a good presence at my house so my cat is not alone for extended long periods of time. While I'm flexible with the amount of alone time my cat has, I felt Lauren stayed true to her agreement of watching my cat in my home and that she did spend a good amount of time there. About: Ever since my sister adopted her angel dog in college, I have been vying to go anywhere and do anything to hang w her. Ive never met a fur baby I didn’t love. I have quite a bit of experience in elder dog care and maintaining medication and diet. I’m also good at keeping up with training and other behavioral habits. I am new to Los Angeles, but not new to animal care. I work as a freelancer, so I have plenty of day time to offer in helping relieve your pup and stretch their legs. Always happy giving affection or putting them to work, depending on their needs. I’m not allowed to take pets into my home at the moment, but happy to spend time or overnight at someone else’s in helping an animal.

About: I grew up in rural Texas with 6 dogs (German Shepard, Bassett hound, chihuahua, dachshund and more) as well as cats and horses. I love and have cared for animals since childhood, and routinely act as dog/cat hotel well my friends are out if town for work/vacation. I work from home as a composer. My ears need frequent breaks to stay fresh, and so I take myself on frequent walks. It’s better with pet company :) Because my office is in my own apartment, feeding and pets and attention of all varieties is no problem. NO yard. This is a one bed apartment in WeHo. Frequent walks are a given, but please take into consideration your own pets needs before reaching out. I work from Home but will frequently need to attend meetings and session outside of home. Dogs with severe separation anxiety are not a good fit! This is a one bedroom apartment with no other pets or people. So it’s great for dogs and cats who are not accustomed to other pets. It’s not great for dogs who are accustomed to a yard.

“Carissa is great! She loved my cat, Birdie and Birdie loved her. She definitely has a way with animals. Birdie is on a diet, so her food and calories need to be tracked. Carissa did a great job keeping track of it all. She was great at communicating and sent a few pics everyday. She’s a lovely young woman and I will definitely use her again!”

We absolutely won the lottery when we connected with Tommy! He was so responsive and flexible, and very thoughtful about the best way to greet the dogs to minimize their anxiety about meeting a new person. His patience, kindness, and ability to help dogs relax in his presence are unmatched. Tommy knew exactly how to support the dogs (one of whom has "big feelings") and before long the dogs were napping and snuggling with Tommy on the couch :) Tommy sent great updates and photos which really put me at ease while I was away. Any dogs (and pet parents) would be fortunate to be Tommy's clients!!”
