“Tyler was amazing with my pups! You could tell he was so loving and thoughtful and took them in as his own! Loved that he sent photos the entire time and also let me know about water breaks and potty breaks. I will be using Tyler as much as I can!”

About: love dogs at every stage of life, from playful puppies to sweet senior companions. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to understanding each dog’s unique needs. I’ll work closely with you to create a schedule that keeps your dog happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a consulting business, so I make my own hours and schedule. I can be available with short notice if needed for recurring clients. I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I respect their space and ensure feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions are followed carefully. I prioritize safety, consistency, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: Pups truly bring me joy. I’ve been the go-to person for 15+ years for friends, neighbors, and colleagues, somehow becoming everyone’s emergency contact for their pups. I treat every pup with the kindness, patience, and attention they deserve. Every pup gets treated like they own the place, because they pretty much do. My home is best suited for fully house-trained, easygoing pups who are comfortable on leash and enjoy a calm, relaxed environment. To maintain a low-stress environment, I do not use crates in my home, and pups do not need to be crate-trained to stay with me. They’re welcome to curl up, relax, and inevitably steal my spot on the couch (or bed). Pups are my full-time focus, so I spend most of my day giving them plenty of attention. I map my schedule around your pup's routine, including meals, walks, playtime, and, duh, naps. Last-minute calls or texts don't stress me out; consider me your neighborhood pup 911. I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout the day, including your birthday, my birthday, and the Super Bowl (which should be a national holiday by now). Because pet care is my full-time focus, your pup won't be left alone for long and will get plenty of attention, walks, and time to settle in and feel at home. Safety, structure, and comfort are my top priorities when welcoming pups into my home. I keep things calm and low-stress: no pressure, no force, just patience, good vibes, and treats. • Pet CPR & First Aid and Fear Free® certified, with a focus on maintaining a calm environment where pups feel safe and secure. • I primarily host small and medium pups (up to 50 lbs) and only accept friendly, socialized dogs who are fully house-trained, comfortable walking on leash, and non-reactive toward other dogs and people. • My home is best suited for easygoing pups without significant behavioral or training needs. This allows me to provide a relaxed, low-stress experience for every pup in my care. • My space is quiet, clean, and dog-friendly, with plenty of supervision throughout the day. After 11+ years in West Hollywood, I also know the neighborhood like the back of my hand. Your pup will get plenty of exercise and come home tired in the best way.
“We’re so grateful for the amazing care she gave our dog 🤍 She did a wonderful job, kept us updated, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. You can truly tell she loves animals and treats them like her own. Very thankful for her help and would absolutely trust her again!”

“Annika is the best! Communicative, caring, really understanding of our weird pup, and is basically a professional pet photographer. We already have our next booking scheduled!”

“Grace is kind, understanding and a great communicator with me and I think she likes pets more than me so I am so grateful when she is keeping care of Remy for me. Highly recommend her. Thank you Grace!”

We’re so grateful to have found Kallan! This is our second time booking with him through Rover. We were referred to him by friends, and now we completely understand why they spoke so highly of him. He’s kind, dependable, communicative, and always goes above and beyond. Our puppy absolutely loves him, and we always travel with total peace of mind knowing he’s in Kallan’s care.

Mona is amazing! From our initial meet-and-greet to the day I dropped off my 5-month-old Bernedoodle, Oliver, she was easy to communicate with, and it was clear she genuinely loves dogs. Throughout the day, Mona kept me updated with plenty of photos and videos of Oliver. Those updates were incredibly reassuring and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I especially appreciated the safe, welcoming environment she provides. The fenced yard gave Oliver plenty of space to run, play, and have fun. I also really appreciated that Mona took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure Oliver's needs were met. I would absolutely trust Mona with Oliver again and will definitely reach out to her the next time I need dog care. Thank you so much, Mona, for taking such wonderful care of my pup!

Maria took such wonderful care of our puppy, Archie, during our trip to LA. She was incredibly flexible with our schedule, kept us updated with photos and gave us complete peace of mind throughout our trip. It was obvious how much she genuinely loves dogs and Archie was so well cared for and happy with her. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely book with Maria again. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Sooyeon, highly recommend. Our puppy had daycare at short notice for two days while on vacation. Sooyeon was always quick to reply and provided good communication throughout. Poppy received great care and attention and was happy to go back for the second day. Sooyeon sent regular updates and photos. Thanks!

Within 5 minutes of dropping off Pearl for the first time Tyler sent me two photos that showed Pearl on his couch grinning from ear to ear. I don’t know if that says more about Pearl than Tyler but he obviously made her feel comfortable and welcome — and me feel reassured. I look forward to booking him again.

Elizabeth was nice, friendly, and great to work with! I had a last minute situation where I had to find someone to take care of my dog, and Elizabeth took him on thankfully and was super flexible. She also sent me pictures each time she babysat my pup. I will be recommending her to my family and friends!! Thank you Elizabeth!

Michaela was so wonderful to Oliver, and sent so many updates of him playing and even put on his favorite sheep channel on tv 🥺 she also fed him his kibble just the way we asked (he likes it a special way!) Overall such a caring and responsible person and would definitely trust her with our dog again :)

Lucy was amazing!!! She took such good care of our puppy Oatmeal, going above and beyond!! It was our first time using the app and we couldn’t be happier having chosen Lucy! We got updates and pictures all throughout the day on how great things were going! She was respectful to our space - we came home to a clean apartment and happy puppy! She even stayed extra time to give her the best care!! Will absolutely be our first contact for any help in the future! 10/10 recommend

Megan is a life saver! She took my little monster for a week and a half--at her place, on short notice--and I came back to a happy, tuckered-out pup. Megan was flexible on timing, super communicative, and most importantly, clearly loves her time with dogs. Looking forward to future playdates.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your West Hollywood commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
