Kieran is one of the kindest and most patient sitters I’ve met. She took incredible care of my dog and helped me understand his behavioral changes when he’s away from me. It wasn’t just dogsitting, it was a learning experience for Louie and me!! Thank you Kieran!!!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 7 years old! I grew up with five dogs and have always been an animal lover! I’m a mom to the sweetest doggo and would treat your babies like my own! Tail wagging guaranteed :) I work remote, so I have plenty of time to walk your doggos! I love going on neighborhood walks already and bringing a doggo along makes it even better! I care about safety and happiness and will treat your baby like my own. If your pet stays at my home, they will get to hang out with my dog and my cat! Our cat clementine is great with dogs and mainly keeps to herself. My dog, Theodore is the sweetest boy and loves making new friends! We also have a fenced off courtyard if they need to get the zoomies out! We have comfy clean dog beds, but your fur baby is more than welcome to sleep on the couch or even in bed if they need some cuddles!

About: Growing up in Chicago I've had dogs/cats my whole entire life. Moving to LA made it unavailable for me to have my own anymore. I can exercise with dogs. I do runyan canyon atleast 3 times a week. I work from home and enjoy getting out every two hours for 30 minutes and having a lil buddy to hang out with during the day while I work. I broke both of my legs last year in a pair of motorcycle accidents so I really have a new appreciation for walking haha. I'd say your dog and I are doing each other favors. Your pup is in good hands with me. I keep it simple and I'll do what you need me to do with your dog.

My pup had a lovely time with Nancy and her pack of 3 small dogs! We did a thorough Meet & Greet, introducing the dogs on a brief walk, seeing her home, and going through my dog’s routine and preferences. On the first day of dog sitting, Nancy sent me regular updates of everyone going on plenty of walks and getting along. I appreciated Nancy’s dedication as a dog lover and the thoughtful questions she asked to make my pup comfortable in her home 💜

About: I’ve spent the last 6 years working closely in animal rescue and fostering dogs, and it’s become one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I also grew up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always felt natural to me. I started out as a volunteer and quickly found how deeply connected I feel to dogs of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve fostered dogs with very different personalities and needs, from shy and shut down to energetic and playful. I stay actively involved in animal welfare work and continue to support nonprofit rescue efforts whenever I can. Being around dogs genuinely brings me a sense of calm and happiness. I’m very patient and intuitive with animals, which helps me build trust even with dogs who are nervous or unsure. I’ve learned how important consistency, routine, and gentle care are in helping dogs feel safe and secure. I always take the time to understand each dog’s personality and what makes them comfortable. More than anything, I just really love dogs and feel grateful to care for them in any way I can.

Nicole is AMAZING. Our little guy is not so little anymore and has tons of energy, so we’ve been looking for a place for him to spend the day without having to be home all by himself! From the start she was thorough about asking about our routine and Halligan’s needs and made sure he would be a good fit with their home. We had previously tried an in-town daycare center but the environment was extremely overwhelming for him and I was very nervous about finding him a new option! She eased my worries quickly though, and even though Hal can be a handful she was more than accommodating with toys and snacks to keep him busy. He even came home smelling amazing lol. She clearly loves dogs and is great at what she does!! We will be back :)

Mary’s adorable cocker spaniel Molly is super friendly, and she and Randy became fast friends. I will definitely contact Mary for more dog sitting!

About: Hi! I'm a Cornell University Animal Science student on the pre-veterinary track with hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals. I have worked in animal husbandry settings and have experience with feeding, cleaning, enrichment, monitoring behavior, and providing attentive daily care. I am responsible, reliable, and passionate about animal welfare, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs companionship, exercise, or extra attention while you're away, I'm committed to keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m in Los Angeles for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. I work part-time at a veterinary clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I am available most other days for pet sitting, walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets get the attention and care they need. I provide pets with the same level of care and attention I would give my own. At home and in clients’ homes, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive plenty of exercise and playtime, and get lots of affection and companionship. I carefully follow any instructions regarding medications, routines, or special needs and pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible.

About: I have had 3 years of experience pet sitting in New York City and recently moved to the LA area with my 4 year old mini goldendoodle! We are looking to take care of some new friends here on the West Coast. I also have 2 dog loving roommates that are excited to have more pups running around :) I am currently working from home so I have full availability. I am a dancer that trains in the evenings typically but I have 2 roommates so there is almost always someone home. I am a very active person and am new to the gorgeous LA weather so I am always down for a nice long walk. We take our time and I let the dogs really sniff. I also have a very active 4 year old mini goldendoodle that loves to play, has a great demeanor, and is well socialized. I let dogs on the couch so they will always be nice and cozy at my place!

I have been freelance dog sitting/walking for the last year through friends but looking for more furry friends here! About: As a human race, we're lucky to have these wonderful creatures. Unfortunately, my fiancee and I don't have the space for our own pooch and would welcome the opportunity to meet as many of these beautiful animals as possible. For years, I've worked from home and my fiancee has a surprisingly flexible schedule. Essentially, it would fit wonderfully into our schedules and be a welcome responsibility. First and foremost, we would take care of the pets according to the owner's instructions and needs (and pets needs). Secondly, we provide a warm, loving, safe, and comfortable home for pets. It would be like a vacation getaway for them. Furthermore, we understand that sometimes a mess can happen. This is why it's beneficial that my fiancee and I both now how to get stains out, haha. Sometimes someone spills the milk. But it ain't worth crying over.

My dog had a great day at daycare. He seemed to really enjoy the outdoor space, especially the front yard. It was also great to know that he got along with their dog, Tato. My dog was so tired when he came home that he went straight to bed after dinner. Josh was very responsive and flexible and sent me updates throughout the day. I would definitely recommend him to other pet owners!

We needed day care for a couple of days during a trip from the Bay Area to Southern California, and I’m so happy I found Amorn and Adam to look after our senior toy poodle, Jubilee. During her stay, they sent lots of photos on her progress and interactions with other dogs, helping to give me peace of mind that all was fine. They demonstrated such kindness and understanding towards our little one, who shakes nervously in unfamiliar environments. They adapted to her shy-ish ways, let her be and gave her a comfy blanket on which to sit or lie. As quickly as the second day when handing her to Adam, Jubilee didn’t even shake, she was actually quite calm, and that was amazing. I am 110% pleased with their services. Thank you so much Amorn and Adam!

Kieran and her pal Marty seemed to be a pawfect match for our beagle, Sully. Kieran was very warm and welcoming and gave Sully a happy place to hang while we were out for the day with family. FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Studio City

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Studio City on Rover is $39.59 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 7,656 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Studio City. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Studio City commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 7,656 sitters in Studio City, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
