“I can not express how grateful I am for finding Yvonne! I am a veterinarian and went o visit family across the country. Yvonne took wonderful care of my Am Staff and came by for walks twice a day. When my baby seemed a little off she took her to the vet and we started treating her UTI before I got back from my trip. She is fantastic and I would and will use her in the future. Can’t recommend enough!”

“Bailey was terrific! Went above and beyond in taking care of my dog Channy. Took her on nice long walks, played with her and made sure she drank some water. Will definitely be calling back!”

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since day one, with over 12 dogs and counting throughout time! During Covid, I decided to pick up volunteer work at my local dog shelter, with tasks including: walking dogs, cleaning kennels and showering with love. Through the volunteer work, it was required to learn about dog behavior and basic emergency situations that could arise. I also own a 3-year old Aussie that brings me so much happiness and joy on a daily basis! I am currently a self-employed musician and work on my own schedule. I have availability during the week and weekends to fit your schedule and needs! I have a fenced, grass, backyard and a 3-year old Aussie that can keep your pup company and play hard! I also have a crate if that's desired.

About: I have had cats and dogs and mice and fish my whole life, and have been many people's go-to consultant for care and advice, and for taking care of their pets when they're out of town. I am one of those people that folks say have "a way with animals". Always have, even when I was a toddler. I can administer medications and injections, help with puppy training, and bring your shy pet out of his or her shell. I rescued my own kitties when they were only a week old and syringe and bottle-fed them and reared them up to be sturdy upright feline citizens of the world. I'm good with the "difficult" cases, and a gentle loving companion to the seniors. I do this because I adore and feel a bond with all animals and creatures of all kinds. :) I am available for morning and mid-day walks and drop-ins, and some evening walks depending on the day, and evening drop-ins most days of the week. I'll dote on your pets as if they are my own, and am happy to follow their routines and rituals and also bring a little novelty and fun to their day.

About: I've loved cats and dogs all my life (more than people sometimes LOL) 💜 I've taken care of neighbors/family/friends pets while they are out and showered them with all the love and care as if they were my own. My heart is full whenever I am around animals and my goal is to help alleviate some stress all owners tend to get while on vacation/work trips etc (I know the feeling!). I cannot wait to meet your furry little pals! I currently work fully remote and spend my Mondays-Fridays at home. My time is best spent with a new friend (your pet!) and am happy and ready to treat them as one of my own. 💜 I am available for boarding M-F after 3pm and flexible on weekends. “Joselyn is great with both of my dogs, who have very different temperaments. I have one rambunctious puppy and one rescue who is afraid of everything and they both enjoy their time with Joselyn. She is definitely able to handle a diverse range of dogs. Thank you for making our travels easier!”

“Megan is truly wonderful! She's prompt and shows such compassion toward my dogs. While I’ve been recovering from an injury, she’s gone above and beyond to accommodate me—far exceeding expectations.”

“We booked Jordan to walk our 2 big boys, Parson and Ellis as we ourselves were temporarily unable to do so. Jordan really managed to bond with the boys and they very much enjoy their long morning walks with him. Can definitely recommend booking Jordan!”

“Isela was great! She walked our large, willful goldendoodle for 2 weeks and did a wonderful job at keeping her moving. She was professional, on time and friendly, and we would highly recommend her to other dog owners!”

“Erick has been great with Lilith! Last week was our first week with Erick as our new walker and he’s done great getting Lilith comfortable with him. He is great at communicating with me and even is thinking in advance as the temps rise to make sure we have a plan for midday walks this summer! I deeply appreciate him thinking about my dogs health and wellbeing like that!”

Natalie was great! My dog was kinda picky with his walkers but he instantly loved Natalie. Natalie walked my dog weekly and was very communicative and responsive to arranging walks. She also gave a detailed report of his walks and sent the best pictures! Thank you Natalie for your time :)

Yvonne has been wonderful, and I highly recommend her! She came for a meet and greet beforehand, which I really appreciated, and it was clear she has experience working with dogs of different temperaments. My dog can be leash and dog reactive, so it was important to find someone I could trust. She’s always punctual, communicates well, and sends a detailed report with photos shortly after each walk. I truly appreciate the great care she gives my dog and the peace of mind she provides! We’re very lucky to have her as our dog walker!

Tayler has been an absolutely wonderful dog walker and pet sitter for our family. She is incredibly reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring with our pets. Mhysa always loved seeing her, and Tayler was just as sweet and attentive with our cat, Kuzco. After several years with us, today is sadly her last regular visit because we’re moving, and we know both pets are going to miss her so much. It gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing they were in the care of someone we completely trusted. We couldn’t recommend Tayler more highly!

I needed a walker for two straight weeks and Vanesa did a wonderful job of ensuring my girl had a great time. She even ran with my energetic girl, which she LOVED! Updates were regular, I would definitely recommend Vanesa to my friends and family!! Thank you, Vanesa! 🐾💕

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
