About: I have had all kinds of pets my entire life! At one point, I had 4 dogs, 4 cats, a whole bunch of pet rats, and a mouse! At the moment, I have one cat, Maggie, and I foster all the time. I'm 62 and basically retired, so my days are free! As of right now, I can do mornings, afternoons and evenings, and I'm also available for sleep-overs. I'm usually willing and available to stay as long as needed to gain the pet's trust, I can go very slow, if needed, and I'm very patient, and gentle.
“Robbie is the best!! Always on time, leaves great notes and pics, and, most importantly, takes the best care of our pup! Such a relief knowing our puppy is in great hands when we can’t be around ⭐️”

“Nicole has been such a lovely sitter to work with and we are so grateful to have had the chance to meet her. She’s taken care of our Milo, above and beyond! With a pretty in flux schedule, Nicole has many times come on a moments notice, and always provided detailed communication about availabilities and walks. On other occasions Nicole has taken the time to teach Milo a few tricks! Can’t say enough great things about our experience in working with Nicole!”

“Bruce is fantastic. Incredibly friendly, attentive, reliable, punctual. He'd send great pics and updates from every walk. I wouldn't trust my Toby with just anyone- but I always felt secure with Bruce. Highly recommend!”

About: I've lived with and taken care animals ever since I was a child. My friends and neighbors trust me as their go to pet sitter while they are away. I've trained my German Shepherd to be a guard dog and rescued a street dog and helped to become confident and happy as a senior project I'm currently self employed so I have a very open schedule, and I keep an active lifestyle so I would love for your dog to join me on my walks. I've been trusted by many friends and neighbors to take care of their pets while there away. Whether it's scooping litterboxes, feeding fish, or taking your dog to get some fresh air. I'm comfortable with it all. I'm also available for overnight and multi day stays.
“Elizabeth was a great pet and house sitter. She sent updates and pictures while we were away. The pets were happy and the house looked great when we returned. We will definitely use her again.”

About: Hi there, I’m a freshly graduated college student looking to make a little extra cash as I navigate this next chapter of my life, what better way to find joy during this uncertain time than spending time with your fur babies. I love people as much as I love animals, communication is my top priority. I want to make sure you feel as comfortable with me as they do! I have a dog, his name is Leo! He’s 16 years old and has lots of tummy troubles, I’m very used to taking extra care to make sure all of his needs are met. I will do everything in my power to make sure that your pets are safe and well taken care of while you’re away doing what you’ve gotta do! I’m pretty flexible, much like most people in LA I work weird inconsistent and flexible hours which makes it easy for me to come look after your fur babies while you do what you’ve gotta do! I’m a clean freak, I’ll leave your place better than I found it. I also love taking photos and sending lots of updates. Whether I’m just taking them for a walk or I’m looking after your furry friend for multiple days you’ll always be in the know. My dog is incredibly old, so I know how to handle senior babies who need a little extra TLC!
“My husky had so much fun running with Jordan that he didn’t want to come inside when Jordan dropped him off, even after 4 miles! Very thankful for the help burning off husky energy!”

About: Chris M. also known as Xris Lobo Introduction: As a dog enthusiast, I truly believe that a world without dogs wouldn't be as vibrant or joyful. This deep affection and respect for our canine companions have compelled me to dedicate my life to nurturing the bond between humans and their dogs. My profound understanding of dog psychology and the art of communication with these lovable creatures have aided me in creating an equilibrium in the lives of numerous dogs and their human counterparts. Serving as an advocate for our four-legged friends, I am committed to reciprocating the unconditional love and companionship they offer us. My mission is to echo their voice, championing their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being while respecting their inherent instincts. Striving to cater to every dog's needs to the best of my ability, I am equally passionate about educating others to do the same. Personal Bio: Steeped in two glorious decades of hands-on experience in dog grooming, walking, and boarding amidst the dynamic energy of New York, I have also devoted seven enriching years as a Dog Behaviorist/Trainer. My professional journey includes esteemed stints as a Trainer at the renowned CaliK9, famed for its Netflix show, Canine Intervention. Additionally, I've had the unique privilege to learn from the best in the field, mentoring under the esteemed Cheri Wulff Lucas, and the dynamic duo, Jonathan and Cole from Oregon Tails. My approach to dog behavior is rooted in the belief that dogs require a whopping 95 percent direction with just a minor 5 percent correction. It's all about guidance, showing them the ropes of how to navigate our world harmoniously. Your dog's understanding of rules, boundaries, and limitations isn't just crucial for their well-being but is instrumental for the safety of our community. But rest assured, our time together won't be all work and no play. I make it a priority to infuse our interactions with warmth, excitement, and an underlying sense of fun. Picture this: your dog will not only relish our structured sessions together but will also display noticeable improvements in behavior, bringing a newfound sense of peace and joy to your home. Trusting someone with your beloved furry friend is no small feat, and I understand that. When you entrust your dog to me, you're not just opting for a service, you're embarking on a journey—a journey of understanding, growth, and heaps of tail-wagging fun! Welcome to a world where discipline meets joy, where routine is exciting, and every interaction nurtures your dog's physical and emotional well-being. Here's to happy, balanced dogs and their even happier human companions! Special Note: I wish to unequivocally express my staunch opposition to hitting or any form of animal mistreatment. All behavioral corrections I implement involve either nonverbal cues, firm verbal admonishments, or a brisk, firm touch or leash pop only to garner the dog's attention and redirect them away from unwanted behavior. Furthermore, I am competent in administering any necessary medications or special dietary requirements. Your dog's individual needs are my primary concern. They are my top priority. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! When you book with me, you're investing in your dog's happiness and balanced well-being. What could be more valuable than that? Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Hollywood
Robbie was absolutely amazing taking care of my baby Sisa while I was away in Hawaii! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after her. From the beginning, Robbie was incredibly caring, responsible, and attentive. He took the time to play with Sisa, give her plenty of attention and affection, and make sure she was happy and comfortable while I was away. What impressed me the most was how meticulous he was with every single detail and favor I asked of him. He followed all of my instructions perfectly and treated Sisa and my home with so much care and respect. Being away from your dog can always make you a little worried, but knowing Sisa was with Robbie gave me real peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my trip. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about her and wasn’t simply there to do a job. I came home to a happy and well-cared-for Sisa, which says everything. I would absolutely trust Robbie with her again and recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring pet sitter. Thank you so much, Robbie, for taking such wonderful care of my girl! Sisa and I truly appreciate you! 🐾❤️

I've been so lucky to have Therese walking Gus since April! She is always on time, incredibly reliable, and so kind and caring with Gus. She's also been so accommodating whenever we've needed to adjust schedules, which I really appreciate. It's such a relief knowing Gus is in such great hands every time she's with him. Gus absolutely loves her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
