Ray has been such a great walker for my girl Stella. She’s very weary of people and protective. She warmed to Ray quickly and he’s been a life saver for us! He takes her on longer walks than booked sometimes and goes above and beyond to make sure she’s safe. Ray is awesome!

About: I currently care for my three dogs. My experiences includes raising and caring for newborn puppies, overnight dog sitting, administering oral medications, and caring for senior or recovering dogs. I understand that every dog has different routines and personalities, so I take the time to make each pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra rubs and cuddles, I acknowledge each and every one of those needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their happiness, safety, and well beings. I'm currently available through the middle of September and have a flexible schedule for walks, drop in visits, overnight stays, and pet sitting. Caring for animals is already part of my daily routine since I have three dogs of my own. My days naturally revolve around feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, enrichment, and making sure each dog receives the attention they need. I'm happy to accommodate your pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort in your home are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner's instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, and any special care requests. I'm experienced caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I understand that every dog has different needs and energy levels. Whether your dog wants to play, go on walks, relax nearby while I work, or simply receive extra affection and reassurance, I'll provide patient, attentive care while keeping a close on your pup.

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I find this work naturally rewarding and that it pairs well with my active lifestyle. I get along well with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have cared for a variety of temperaments. I have had a miniature poodle, samoyed, great danes and lastly a lab/American bull mix as my beloved pets. I am patient, caring, punctual and considerate. I can handle multiple dogs at once. I am prepared to care for your pet in whatever capacity that our time together will require and strive to be vigilant in identifying signs of stress, pain, fear, and aggression quickly and know to respond with the appropriate care. I will send periodic updates to you on your pet's progress, along with photos for your peace of mind. I look forward to our walk. Dog and Cat CPR and first aid certification Pet care is not just an added task but the backbone of my daily routine, built around your pets need for predictability, food, exercise, and companionship. About: As a dedicated pet lover and the owner of two senior dogs, I understand the patience, attention, and compassion that pets need at every stage of life. Caring for my own dogs has given me hands-on experience with senior pet care, including administering medications, following special routines, and recognizing changes in behavior. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I'll provide personalized care based on their unique needs and routine. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring hands. Some of my special skills include: Puppy Training: I have experience with early-stage puppy training, helping them learn basic commands, socialization, and proper house habits. I’m patient and can reinforce positive behaviors in a fun and engaging way. Senior Pet Care: I’m sensitive to the needs of older pets, providing them with gentle care and attention, such as assisting with mobility, managing medications, and ensuring they’re getting enough rest and comfort. I also keep a close eye on any changes in behavior or health, alerting owners to potential concerns. Behavioral Experience: I can help with pets who have specific behavioral challenges like anxiety or aggression, using positive reinforcement techniques to guide them toward more balanced behavior. Personalized Care Plans: Whether it’s a special diet, medication schedule, or a specific routine, I make sure to follow your pet’s care instructions to the letter, ensuring consistency and peace of mind. I aim to provide your pet with the same care, love, and attention they receive from you, so they feel relaxed and happy in your absence. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine since I care for my two senior dogs every day. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide consistent walks, feeding, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention. I enjoy spending time with animals and can easily adapt to each pet's routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special care instructions so I can provide consistent, personalized care. In a client's home, I respect their space, follow all feeding, walking, and medication schedules, and make sure pets have plenty of attention and affection. I also keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets during walks and playtime, and provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats in my home and always owned a dog so I understand how important they are. I consider pets family and will celebrate their birthdays too. My friends and neighbor’s dogs always seem to like me. One neighbor had a Chihuahua that barked at everybody except me because I always stopped and stared at her. I think she liked that I always gave her attention. And I’ll make sure to give your fur baby attention too! Since my work schedule is very flexible I can fit pet care into my daily or weekly routine easily. Daily walks and feedings isn’t a problem I will take the necessary precautions to make sure your pet is secured in your home by checking locks and fenced areas because your pet’s safety is important to me

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
