About: My daughter and I (she is 15) are in love with everything that is living especially animals! We have fostered and pet-sitted for many years. I work from home so I am home 90% of the time. My daughter is a bit of a Dog Whisperer and we do this because we love it! The Pawttage is near LAX so you could drop your sweetie on your way out of town and pick him/her up as soon as you land! The Pawttage has a large sized back yard, cozy and family atmosphere. We will take your pooch on as many walks as you desire. Your pooch will have play time in the yard and relax time with me in the evening. We have plenty of the time and can fully care for your vacationing pooch. If you feel he/she needs her toys that is great, if not we have some to lend out. The resident animals are a small 17 year old Lhasa Apso, who loves other dogs and still enjoys play time in the yard with guests. He himself has doggie playdates with his doggie friends! Ocean, a 6 year old Chorky, likes to sun bath and bark at the mail lady. Consider this happy animal friendly home as your pets home away from home! *NOTE: If you cannot pick up by 8pm, please consider it as an additional day.

Raymond is not only dependable and punctual, but he also shows a genuine affection and understanding towards my dog, which puts me at ease knowing my pet is in good hands. He always ensures my dog gets a good amount of exercise and fun during their walks, and he’s very communicative, often sending updates and photos, which I greatly appreciate. It’s clear Raymond takes his responsibility seriously and cares deeply for the animals he looks after. About: I've had a lifelong connection with dogs, growing up surrounded by them and learning early on the deep bond we share with our canine companions. My love for their wellbeing has only grown over the years, inspiring me to dedicate time to working with rescue organizations and fostering dogs in need. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong understanding of canine behavior, care, and rehabilitation. I’m also the proud owner of my dog, Charlie, who continues to teach me unconditional love, loyalty, and joy every day. Caring for dogs isn't just a passion, it’s a meaningful part of my life. I’m available for dog sitting, walking, and boarding Monday through Sunday. Working from home during these days allows me to offer flexible, attentive, and loving care for your dogs. I prioritize safety and trust when caring for pets, whether in my home or the client’s. I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment, with a small yard available for safe play and enrichment. By maintaining clear communication with pet owners, I ensure each dog’s routines and preferences are respected, so they receive personalized, attentive care in a comfortable and secure setting.
About: Hello pet parents! My name is Kalonie and I would love to be your pet's favorite sitter or walker! While I'm only 20 years old, I assure you that my experience with animals is deep-rooted. I've had cats my entire life, from playful kittens to grumpy seniors. So I am very comfortable with all aspects of feline care, including feeding schedules, administering medication, and providing plenty of enrichment and cuddles. I absolutely adore dogs and have extensive experience caring for friends' and family members' dogs. I’m energetic, reliable, and excited to provide your dog with fun walks, playtime, and attentive care! I have intentionally structured my current weekly routine to prioritize client flexibility and consistent pet care. Because i’m not currently in need for a specific occupation, and this is what I love to do, my schedule is wide open! Which allows me to be incredibly reliable for pets. I provide comprehensive care including walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and simply showing them all the love possible. Ensuring pets follow their regular routine while you're away.
About: Let’s book a vacation for your pets! Whether the sun is shining and we go on multiple walks a day, or it’s raining and we play some puzzle games indoors, your pets are always engaged and taken care of with me. I spent some time in college studying positive reinforcement and training animals. I’ve got years of experience not only with my own animals (which has included 7 different species) but constantly being the pet sitter for friends and family. I’ve worked professionally in the pet sitting service as well. I even trained rats in college! I work a very flexible, part-time job that allows me to schedule working hours around your pet needs. I have my own dog who loves one on one time with other dogs, but she is also crate trained if your loved animal needs to be alone and have all my attention! I care for pets by treating each one like they are my own. I give constant attention, hugs, play, and am comfortable keeping an eye on more than one at a time. When I’m not home, I do have a security camera in the bedroom so that I can check up on them at any time throughout the day.
“Thank you so much for helping us with Chewie. We appreciate your communication, kindness, and professionalism. We definitely look forward to working with you again in the future.”

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and seniors. I’m attentive, patient, and treat every pet like family. I’m comfortable with administering medication, keeping up with routines, and giving plenty of love and exercise. What sets me apart is my genuine connection with animals and commitment to making them feel safe, happy, and at home—even when you’re away. I work night shifts as a 911 operator Thursday to Sunday and am home until 8:30PM those days. Off Monday to Wednesday, so plenty of time for play, cuddles, and flexible drop-offs! I feed, provide fresh water, play, pick up waste, and give lots of love and attention to keep pets happy and comfortable in any home.
About: I grew up with different breeds of dogs. My first dog growing up was a cockapoo. Who was very energetic and fluffy. I've also always loved pugs so my dad brought home a baby pug growing up. Each dog is different and has different needs, you just have to figure out what that is and from there you're good to go. I currently don't have a dog, but enjoy dog sitting and playing with other people's dogs!! I enjoy going out on runs and walks and it would be great to be able to have a dog to go on runs with. I also enjoy having a happy four leggged friend greet me when I come home to walk them or just after work even if it's temporary!

About: My love for dogs started young. From caring for a senior Shih Tzu to raising an energetic pit bull and now owning a Lab-Dachshund mix myself, I've handled dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and ages. That experience shapes how I treat every dog I walk, with the same attention, reliability, and safety-first mindset I give my own. Expect photo updates and one very happy, tired pup at the end! I am available for walks every day, Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate same-day walk requests. For dog sitting: I live within a block from a large park. I am in a very walk friendly neighborhood. In my apartment building is a pet park. I also have a balcony for your dog to enjoy a breath of fresh air.
“Anthony was great!! He came and met our animals ahead of time which was super helpful because we were able to meet and show him where everything was. He was always on time, and responded right away, even when I had last minute schedule changes. He sent pictures and our pets loved him! Would absolutely ask him to come and walk the fur babies again.”

“Booked Gabrielle last min and she was quick and responsive! She was very sweet, took two (big dogs) on a solid walk and sent pics. She was easy to work with and communicated/replied quick! Will definitely book again!”

“Kristin was fantastic! Our original sitter cancelled last minute and Kristin saved the day! She's the first person who's come into our house that our dog hasn't immediately starting barking at. My wife marveled at her "Disney princess energy" as the animals gravitated towards her immediately. She communicated with us well and sent great pictures. We had a wonderful experience with Kristin and would highly recommend.”

Additionally, neighbors, friends, and family members have also relied on me to care of their pets at times as well. Anthony was great!! He came and met our animals ahead of time which was super helpful because we were able to meet and show him where everything was. We are so glad we came across Su! Before booking her services, we did a meet-and-greet, and Obi liked her from day one. Not only Obi, but all of our fur babies at home warmed up to her immediately. Su followed all of our instructions carefully, and what I appreciated most were the photo updates and regular check-ins while we were away. We are beyond happy with her service and truly can’t say enough great things about her. I was a little skeptical at first about trying the app, but I’m so glad I did. Obi absolutely fell in love with Su and already misses her. We definitely found our person, and we’re excited to book with her many more times in the future. Thank you so much, Suyoon!

Gabrielle was phenomenal. She was attentive to our highly energetic dog’s needs. She was very communicative and thorough with our dog, definitely giving us peace of mind while we were away on a trip. The updates and pictures she sent us of our dog Bruno showed how great of a time he had!

Yvette has helped us with our sweet girl, Scout and we are lucky to have found such a caring and very communicative pet sitter! Scout loves her and we look forward to continue having Yvette come back as needed! Highly recommend Yvette for your fur baby. They will be in great hands!!

Ziggy and I had a meet and greet with Grace and went on a lovely 30 minute walk together where we strolled the neighborhood and chatted. She took the time to really get to know Ziggy and asked great, thoughtful questions about how to best care for him, which I truly appreciated. Grace is attentive, sweet, and has such a warm presence. Ziggy really loved her and felt comfortable right away. I would definitely love to continue working with Grace. She was absolutely lovely, and I highly recommend her.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
