About: My daughter and I (she is 15) are in love with everything that is living especially animals! We have fostered and pet-sitted for many years. I work from home so I am home 90% of the time. My daughter is a bit of a Dog Whisperer and we do this because we love it! The Pawttage is near LAX so you could drop your sweetie on your way out of town and pick him/her up as soon as you land! The Pawttage has a large sized back yard, cozy and family atmosphere. We will take your pooch on as many walks as you desire. Your pooch will have play time in the yard and relax time with me in the evening. We have plenty of the time and can fully care for your vacationing pooch. If you feel he/she needs her toys that is great, if not we have some to lend out. The resident animals are a small 17 year old Lhasa Apso, who loves other dogs and still enjoys play time in the yard with guests. He himself has doggie playdates with his doggie friends! Ocean, a 6 year old Chorky, likes to sun bath and bark at the mail lady. Consider this happy animal friendly home as your pets home away from home! *NOTE: If you cannot pick up by 8pm, please consider it as an additional day.
About: I like to make sure dogs feel safe and comfortable, I talk to them, love walking then and don't mind running with them as well. I'm currently unemployed, so I have time too walk your pets and give them love time and attention. Anytime feel free to schedule a day with me. I care for pets by making sure that they are fed and hydrated. Making sure they don't get into anything that they shouldn't. Having fun with pets is the way to make and keep them happy. Whenever I come around friends who have pets, their pets gravitate towards me and I end up making another friend. My apartment doesn't allow pets but that doesn't mean I can't take them for a walk.

“Sophia is amazing both our dog Frankie and I love her! I had shoulder surgery and Sophia came in at the last minute and rescued us! She’s amazing with animals and humans lol so much so that I have booked another week with her and will most likely book a few more weeks until my shoulder has healed! Frankie gets excited when Sophia arrives which is great and I have no problem with her taking Frank out! So just hire her!”

Ensuring pets follow their regular routine while you're away.

“Booked Gabrielle last min and she was quick and responsive! She was very sweet, took two (big dogs) on a solid walk and sent pics. She was easy to work with and communicated/replied quick! Will definitely book again!”

“It’s difficult for my pup to trust and let you walk him if it’s not me. As soon as my dog met Hugo, he was ecstatic to meet him. Hugo has great energy. It’s calming and patient. Exactly what my child needs since he’s very stubborn lol. Hugo even convinced my pup to eat his breakfast after his walk (he didn’t want to eat the day before because I was out of town and being a sad boy). Thanks Hugo! Will definitely book him again!”

About: I have several years of experience with both dogs and cats. Both of my pets are rescue animals and I am proud to say that they have grown to feel confident in our home, with other furry friends, and with people. I have several years of experience with both dogs and cats. Both of my pets are rescue animals and I am proud to say that they have grown to feel confident in our home, with other furry friends, and with people. When it comes to cats, I understand how unique and awesome each cat is. I also understand that cat’s tend to be misunderstood, and deal with distance from their owners a bit differently than dogs. My experience with my rescue cat, and my several years of cat-sitting experience will be extremely helpful for drop-in visit services. When it comes to dogs, I have experience with pet-sitting and raising dogs as well. I'm an active person, and thoroughly enjoy dog-walking and play-time. As each pet is different, I’d love to learn more about you, your cat or dog, and how I can help. Feel free to reach out. I walk my dog every day, three times a day, for twenty minutes and ensure that he gets 45 minutes of play-time. When it comes to my cat, I spend one hour of quality time with her - whether it's watching a show together, play-time, or monitoring her on the patio. What's really cool about my routine is, my animals are friendly with one another, and my cat thoroughly enjoys stalking our pup who seems to enjoy the attention. Caring for each pet will be different depending on the animal and their preferences. If your pet requires a certain amount of play-time, or cuddle sessions, they'll be sure to receive them! I am an affectionate, caring, attentive, and considerate pet-sitter and adaptable to each pet and their unique personalities.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Inglewood
I booked Melanie last minute and without a meet and greet, and my dog LOVED her. I was nervous at first because my dog can be a little shy with new people, but Melanie made her comfortable and sparked her joy. I 100% trust Melanie with her and am so grateful Melanie was able to step-in for a last minute request. Melanie is professional, on time, and a great communicator. She goes above and beyond to make sure your furry friend(s) are happy and comfortable in her presence. I definitely recommend booking Melanie and will be continuing with her services.

Anthony was great!! He came and met our animals ahead of time which was super helpful because we were able to meet and show him where everything was. He was always on time, and responded right away, even when I had last minute schedule changes. He sent pictures and our pets loved him! Would absolutely ask him to come and walk the fur babies again.

We are so glad we came across Su! Before booking her services, we did a meet-and-greet, and Obi liked her from day one. Not only Obi, but all of our fur babies at home warmed up to her immediately. Su followed all of our instructions carefully, and what I appreciated most were the photo updates and regular check-ins while we were away. We are beyond happy with her service and truly can’t say enough great things about her. I was a little skeptical at first about trying the app, but I’m so glad I did. Obi absolutely fell in love with Su and already misses her. We definitely found our person, and we’re excited to book with her many more times in the future. Thank you so much, Suyoon!

Gabrielle was phenomenal. She was attentive to our highly energetic dog’s needs. She was very communicative and thorough with our dog, definitely giving us peace of mind while we were away on a trip. The updates and pictures she sent us of our dog Bruno showed how great of a time he had!

Yvette has helped us with our sweet girl, Scout and we are lucky to have found such a caring and very communicative pet sitter! Scout loves her and we look forward to continue having Yvette come back as needed! Highly recommend Yvette for your fur baby. They will be in great hands!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
