About: I grew up around dogs and previously had a pitbull of my own, so I’m comfortable with different breeds and personalities. I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs while they were away on deployments. I currently have a flexible schedule and enjoy being active so I would love to take your dog out for walks and playtime. Or do check ins and feedings and giving them attention and care as needed. I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the week. I enjoy staying active, so I’d love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they get lots of attention and care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends. I live in a pet-friendly apartment community with designated dog relief areas and plenty of walkable space nearby for regular walks and exercise. Because of the size of my apartment, I can care for small dogs/cats in my home.
“We are glad we left our cat with Shiyibin. Shiyibin is very kind, took care of our cat well, and kept up posted frequently with updates, photo, and a video over the 12 hour period. She let my cat have some private space away from her cats since this is our first time. Tangy seemed to be doing well and we would definitely book her again.”

About: Hi, I’m Pam! I only board one guest dog at a time, so your pup gets lots of individual attention in a calm home environment. My own dog, Butter, is a friendly 8 lb Pomeranian who loves having a playmate. I’ve had dogs for more than 25 years and raised my chiweenie, Cannoli, through age 17. Caring for her gave me hands-on experience with senior dogs, medications, and the extra patience and attention older dogs sometimes need. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day for companionship, playtime, walks and potty breaks. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel less like they’re being boarded and more like they’re staying in a second home. Dogs have always been part of my life and family. I raised my chiweenie, Cannoli, through age 17, and I’m still the person who stops to help a stray dog wandering the neighborhood get safely home. These days, Butter, my friendly 8 lb Pomeranian, is part of our family too. I work from home, which means your dog gets plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, potty breaks, playtime and plenty of hanging out together. I offer both overnight boarding and daytime care, with drop-off and pick-up generally available between 7am–9pm. I have a fully fenced yard and only board one guest dog at a time, along with my own friendly 8 lb Pomeranian, Butter. My home is smoke-free, alcohol-free and air-conditioned, with comfortable indoor spaces for relaxing and separate areas for meals.
About: I have extensive hands on experience caring for four pets: Mansa and Khan, both 4 years old and full of energy. Aekae, a recent diabetic rescue. As well as Galaxi, my very first dog, who happens to have strict medical needs and allergies. Caring for Galaxi and Aekae has given me deep experience with special/medical needs pets, including administering daily insulin shots on a strict schedule. Combined with raising high energy animals, and my professional background in pathology, bachelor’s in Biology, I am fully equipped to handle multi pet routines, strict medical schedules, and attentive care. My routine is built around structure and consistency. Managing daily timed insulin injections for Aekae and staying on top of the needs of two active 4 year old pets means time management is second nature to me. You can count on me to stick precisely to your dog’s established schedule for meals, walks, and medications. Safety is my top priority, whether caring for a single pup or a multi pet home. Raising and caring for my own high energy pets has made me exceptionally patient, calm, and attuned to subtle shifts in body language and health. Paired with my pathology background, I provide a clean, secure, and structured environment tailored to your pet's needs. While my cat is dog friendly, he remains comfortably separated in his own room during bookings to ensure your dog feels completely relaxed and secure.

“Makayla was amazing!! She was super communicative, very sweet and sent tons of updates and pics. Our dog was so happy with her. She was super understanding, our tire was flat and she was so kind to basically drive our dog to us. Wonderful sitter and amazing person.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a day without them! I grew up with a loving family dog, which taught me the importance of patience, care, and understanding a pup’s unique personality. Now, as a young adult, I have my own sweet dog who is almost 2 years old. I know firsthand what it takes to keep them happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggles, I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away! I work from home Monday through Friday, which means I’m available throughout the day to care for your pup. From playtime to outdoor walks, I’ll be there to keep them happy, active, and comfortable whenever they need me! Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, or just some extra belly rubs, I’m always nearby to meet their needs. I also live in a safe, pet-friendly residential area with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces, making walks both enjoyable and secure. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll treat them like family while they’re in my care! My dog is also crate trained, potty trained and gentle.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Inglewood
Emelyn was wonderful with Letty! She was so patient, gentle, and caring with her, especially since Letty is a senior. I really appreciated the massages and all the extra attention she gave her. She also sent me so many pictures, which I loved seeing while I was at work. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Letty was being so well taken care of. Emelyn did an amazing job, as always!

Yvette was a GREAT sitter!!! She was available last min to watch Tuck and it was such a great experience. She was very responsive and so patient with Tuck who is a blind doggy. 10/10 recommend her! She was also so sweet and do evident she has a huge heart for pets.

As always, they took amazing care of Letty. She got along great with their dog and looked completely comfortable and happy during her stay. When I picked her up, she was calm, relaxed, and clearly felt at home. In fact, she seemed so comfortable that she didn't seem worried at all when I arrived, which tells me she was receiving lots of love and attention. It's never easy leaving your dog with someone else, especially a senior dog, but I felt completely at ease knowing she was in good hands. Letty came back happy, warm, and well cared for. I truly appreciate the kindness and attention they gave her and would absolutely trust them with her again. Thank you for taking such great care of my girl!

I had such a great experience with her watching my puppy, Cody. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. She kept up with his routine, was attentive, and gave me peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. I’d definitely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring.

Grant was great, I had my Mila stay with him on work days and he was very punctual with pick up and drop off times. He lives in a condo complex with ample spots and greenery for walks/play time. I was sent picture updates throughout the day as well. I would recommend Grant to any dog owner looking for day care or overnight stays.

Five stars!! they took amazing care of my puppy, Cody, throughout the day. They kept me updated with pictures, which gave me a lot of peace of mind, and they asked thoughtful questions to make sure they were doing everything right. Cody came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for, which says everything. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they watch. I’ll definitely be booking with them again. Highly recommend!!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Inglewood commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
