About: I've had pets since I was a kid. I had a cat that lived to be 19, a Black Lab that made it to 16 and a Weimaraner that made to 13. I have a lot of experience caring for elderly pets and I have the energy for puppies. I have administered medication for both dogs via pill and shots. I most recently have been pet sitting my neighbors dogs and cats, if references are requested. I'm currently work remotely and am very flexible with time/hours/days/evenings/long term stay/short term stay/drop-ins. I offer over night stay as long as Wifi is provided for my work computer. About: I have watched pets in this house for the last year, and we have a little pup of our own! This house is set up as a dog’s paradise, and we will treat your pet as if they’re one of our own. Our little one will be thrilled to have a friend! I am a college professor who is currently on sabbatical, so I’ll be home with LOTS of time for your pets. Annie (my partner) works at home all week and is eager to welcome your little one to our home. The backyard is HUGE and it is fully fenced. I work from home and am always available for walks, playtime, and anything else your pet needs. I am a college professor at Cal State Northridge and work remotely full time. I have a small pup of my own who I feed twice a day and walk regularly, so adding additional pets to my routine is easy! My partner Annie is an accountant for Sony and works in office 2-3 days a week, but she is also at home evenings and all day Friday – Monday. We are huge animal lovers and would care for your pet exactly as we would want our pet to be treated. For in-home sitting: We have a fully fenced backyard with a pool and double-gated front yard where your dog can have free reign to run around! Our neighborhood has lots of easy sidewalks, a park, and easy access to the bike path if longer walks are needed. We will never let a dog off our property without a leash or take them to a public dog park (unless specifically requested). We are happy to do a tour or meet and greet ahead of time so you can see our set up. For client’s homes: The client knows best and sets the rules for their own home and pet. We will work with your hours and needs - whether you just need a drop in visit, day time walks for dogs, or overnights, we are open to whatever rules and schedule you set.

Shiyibin was really great with my pup Lulu. Lulu didn’t want to leave and that’s saying a lot. Shiyibin gives frequent updates with pics and videos. You can tell she loves animals. This was my first time using Shiyibin and I’m so glad I found her. Will definitely ask her to look after my pup again.
Deniz was so sweet and my anxious dog Kaiya settled right in! I am so glad the sitting day went well as my pup has some issues being around other dogs and has a bunch of those tricky husky behaviors. Luckily Deniz had lots of experience and had no problems accommodating to Kaiya's needs!
Lizzy (and partner Aaron) is a wonder for sitter for our dog, Max. Poor Max apparently had a very tough life before we got him from a rescue group at age 6 years. He's a very sweet and loving dog, but when he's very anxious and frightened, he can be tough to deal with. Lizzy is one of the calmest people I've ever met and she only takes one dog at a time. She is perfect for Max and, though he's anxious and has serious separation anxiety, he seems to be much more comfortable at Lizzy's place that he is anywhere else aside from home. Lizzy and Aaron are highly experienced in caring for dogs (both their own in the past and other people's dogs) and seem to be unflappable. They have a great house with a backyard on a quiet street in West LA. We are so glad we found them!
Emelyn was wonderful with Letty! She was so patient, gentle, and caring with her, especially since Letty is a senior. I really appreciated the massages and all the extra attention she gave her. She also sent me so many pictures, which I loved seeing while I was at work. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Letty was being so well taken care of. Emelyn did an amazing job, as always!
