“Kellin has been great and very patient acclimating our new pup to walks. He's naturally shy and a little scared of people and dogs but she's willing to put in the time and effort to make him comfortable.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. Recently lost my little man (terrier, Franklin) of 18.5 years and would love some canine company to fill the void. I work from home and have a very flexible day, perfect for walkies and outdoor playtime in my secure fenced backyard! I work from home with a very flexible schedule! Would have plenty of time for walks and playtime out in my fenced yard. Park nearby for long walks in a nice neighborhood. Safe and lovely neighbors. I’ve had varying breeds of dogs my entire life so I know how to care for varying ages from pup to senior. My senior baby just passed, he was 18.5 years old (carrying, diaper changes, etc) I’m comfortable with whatever your pet needs. I’ll provide a comfortable air conditioned home for hot summer days, a quiet environment for long naps and a secure fenced backyard for supervised sunning and playtime. Will carve time for a few leashed walks in my neighborhood and View Park is right near me for some great squirrel watching :) lots of scritches and cuddles too!
“Patrick was the best! He agreed to run my dog not just walk him for an hour every day! It was worth every penny when I saw how happy and tired my dog was when they’d get back from a run! My dog Chunk loved Patrick and would sit watching the door waiting to see him! Patrick is awesome and I will use him every time I come to LA! U need to hire this man and u will be very happy with his work!”

“Koko was AMAZING!!! My pup absolutely loved her, she sent me updates constantly (which really helped my dog mom anxiety!) and spent time with my girl giving her extra loves and cookies after their walks! I highly recommend :)”

“Shiyibin is fantastic! Orion absolutely loves her and gets very excited when he sees her! She’s super communicative and has been flexible when he’s had bouts of separation anxiety and needed to shift his walks as a result.”

“Rachel is a wonderful and gentle person to entrust with your dog’s care! She’s patient and lets my senior pup set his own pace. She’s reliable and easy to schedule. Highly recommend!”

About: Our household always had lots of pets— cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish— all simultaneously! That’s just how I grew up and that’s how I raised my family too! Pets are a part of the family and bring a lot of warmth and joy to our lives. I’ve taught high school for the past 20 years and my schedule allows for me to care for pets while on summer, winter, and holiday breaks. Now that we’re empty nesters, and I no longer have young children to care for, a lot of my free time is spent with our pets! I enjoy caring for them. Our pets are primarily indoors, however, they love nothing more than to bask in the sunlight, hang out in the yard, and take long walks through the neighborhood.
About: I've worked with animals of all temperaments. Shy or nervous rescue dogs are no problem! Big or small, high or low energy, timid, giant breeds, counter surfers, etc. I never stop learning about dogs so you rest assured knowing you have one of the best looking after your pets. I can ensure the best possible experience. I employ what I describe as the perfect balance of a dog being in a home setting it's used to while also having the security on the individual dog level to live their best lives. During the day the dogs get as much play time as you prefer and the weather will allow. I will also make sure your pets are fulfilled mentally and physically each day. I try to mimic their home routine as much as possible so that your pet can feel safe and secure in their own space. I go above and beyond to make sure every dog enjoys their day in the safest possible manner. I have multiple repeat clients who will tell their dog, "Do you wanna go with Anthony?!?" and their dog will go into wiggly happy mode. Many will run right into my arms when I arrive because they truly love me. They have someone who understands their nature and fulfills their needs. I also have a calming presence and try to make sure there isn't that high energy that amps up the dogs and makes them nervous or on guard.
“Anne was so great - we were on a trip for a few days and left our Golden Retriever with my wife’s parents and Anne was able to walk him several times and be flexible with some of the arrangements. Highly recommend!”

“Raymond is wonderful and so easy going. We recently rescued two large doodles that are very bonded and have a few behavior quirks. He has been a pro helping us navigate the first couple weeks while we are at work and is confident to walk both big dogs together. He has excellent communication and has been reliable!”

About: I’ve been an arts educator for 8 years altogether, childcare provider for families and in preschools, have taken care of my dog growing up, and have done some pet sitting for friends and family (4 cats in one house included!). I would love to share the load of responsibilities with you by taking your dog/s on walks! I currently freelance in sewing alterations, sewing workshops, and helping a friend manager her tamale business. I'm available most days of the week for walks and will travel within the 5 mile radius of Culver City! I always try to follow instructions as closely as possible when caretaking in order to put the one being cared for at ease! I find that this facilitates the expection of the animal as well as the pet parent. By following preset procedures it also creates more safety and trust between myself and the animal I'm getting to know. When I cat sat 4 cats in one home, they all had very particular ways of being fed. Some required more time and attention then others and I had to follow the procedures in order to be successful and make sure the furry friends were happy! I was reassured that the pet parent's instructions were particularly catered to each animal's needs.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats and fish! My parents loved animals and so do I. I sometimes take my dog to the dog park to see his BFF and other dogs. I enjoy them as much as he does. I've had small terriers and 3 German Shepard's plus a lab or two. They were all great dogs. I have a dog I walk 2-3 times a day. He's very good with other animals. I can walk your dog alone if you prefer. Can do over nite boarding. I'm retired and home all day. I live in a condo with a patio and potty area or we walk to grassy area. I have a patio with a potty area, plus grassy area nearby. I can crate if you prefer. My dog is friendly, he grew up going to the dog park so is used to meeting new dogs. My neighbor hood is quiet and safe.
About: I enjoy hanging out with animals. They are the only thing in this world that has proven its loyalty to people. We are in a world where that loyalty is so fleeting and our animals and people deserve better. I’m currently working virtually at home, but have flexibility to come in and play with your furry friend in the mid mornings, evenings and weekends! I have a dog park and walking path near where I live. We like to eat at the same time everyday and make sure our walks are nice and long so we burn energy !
About: I have had dogs for about 20 years. I love all animals and I treat them like they’re family. Play time is the best time with animals but naps are always great too. Making sure they have all they need is my top priority. I am also great with cats too! Making sure animals have their proper food and medicine (if applicable). An adundant amount of play time and showing them that I care is very important to me! I love dogs like no other and I couldn’t see life without them.! I have been watching after animals since I was about 5 years old. I’ve grown up with animals in my home, therefore I see no better way to describe them other than Family! I currently live have an open schedule and am able to help pet families on a more consistent basis. I would love to incorporate caring for your pet in my daily routine, I.e walks, feedings, etc! In my clients homes, I will abide by safety and respectful rules. If they have a fenced in yard, I will allow the animal to roam freely or take the pet on a walk around the neighborhood. I do not have a yard in my home, therefore, animals will only go on walks around my neighborhood. I am on the search for a dog part near by that I would drive the pet to!
About: Big time dog lover here! Grew up with dogs my entire life. Had my “soul dog”, for 17 years, who passed 5 years ago. I haven’t been ready to get another of my own, but have been dog sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors ever since! I really enjoy and love each fur baby like my own. I’m patient, loving and accommodating to all pet needs. While I do work full time - I work from home all but 2 days a week. The 2 days a week I do go in to the office, it’s typically only 5-6 hours. The majority of my time during the week will be home with your pup for all the attention, play and walks needed. Home all weekend. Available for boarding whenever needed and open for walks and such too! Super flexible :) I can easily crate your dog if needed (experience with both crate trained and non crate trained dogs). I live in a condo that has a dog run on the property, and lots of space and trails for long walks! We love being outside and go on daily walks with our 6 year old daughter - would love your dog to join! Dogs that enjoy kids are a plus as our kid loves playing fetch and tug of war with toys with dogs! Lots of love and play here!

About: I don’t remember a time not having dogs growing up. I’ve grown up with small, energetic dogs, but I also have experience taking care of my best friends’ golden retriever and German shepherd. The dogs my family has now we got when they were puppies, so I have experience puppy training as well. When I lived at home, I would take my dogs on walks and play fetch with them. I’m currently working part time as a waitress so I have a flexible schedule throughout the week when I’m not working. I only have to go in person to school once a week for two hours on Thursday at the moment. Even on my own, I go for walks/hikes and to be at the park/beach so incorporating a dog into that is no problem. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex and have a balcony for fresh air while in the apartment. If in my client’s home, I make it a point to respect the dog’s regular routine and boundaries in the home.
About: If you are looking for a pet sitter in your neighborhood, I would be happy to help. I have experience fostering kittens and dogs several times, and I also had my own dog. Because of that, I understand that every pet has different behaviors and personalities. I believe this helps my customers feel reassured and comfortable. **Especially** since I’ve fostered many energetic or shy kittens and puppies, I’m sure I’ll get along well with your little one. I COMPLETELY understand how hard it can be for a puppy to stay home alone. I’m flexible with my schedule depending on the location or week, so feel free to share your preferred times. I’m happy to adjust whenever possible to make things smooth for you and your pets. I can help with: - Walking 🐶 - Feeding at your home 🐶🐱 - Playing with your pet at your home 🐶🐱 - Cleaning the litter 🐱 - Keeping an eye on them to make sure they’re doing okay 🐶🐱
Ladera Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Anthony was great!! He came and met our animals ahead of time which was super helpful because we were able to meet and show him where everything was. He was always on time, and responded right away, even when I had last minute schedule changes. He sent pictures and our pets loved him! Would absolutely ask him to come and walk the fur babies again.

We are so glad we came across Su! Before booking her services, we did a meet-and-greet, and Obi liked her from day one. Not only Obi, but all of our fur babies at home warmed up to her immediately. Su followed all of our instructions carefully, and what I appreciated most were the photo updates and regular check-ins while we were away. We are beyond happy with her service and truly can’t say enough great things about her. I was a little skeptical at first about trying the app, but I’m so glad I did. Obi absolutely fell in love with Su and already misses her. We definitely found our person, and we’re excited to book with her many more times in the future. Thank you so much, Suyoon!

Charles took the extra steps and care to get on my dog Boogie’s good side, who can be reactive and apprehensive of new humans. He’s clearly a responsible pet- and home-owner himself and applied such meticulous attention to detail going into and throughout our booking. His communication and professionalism was top-tier, I’d book him again without hesitation!

Audrey did an amazing job walking my dog! I accidentally had the wrong address on file, but she messaged me right away and went to my current address without any hesitation. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and caring throughout the whole experience. I really appreciated how understanding and flexible she was. Highly recommend Audrey to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy dog walker!
