About: I've taken dog grooming classes. I know how to bathe dogs and trim their nails. I've worked at a dog day care before. There, I helped watch dogs of all sizes and ages and bathe them as needed. I'm currently working part-time, so I have some free time throughout the week to pet-sit, walk, and drop in. I currently cannot board due to my apartment not allowing pets at the moment. I follow what I believe is the best protocol when dealing with animals. When I introduce myself, I like to lower myself to the ground to meet them at their level and try to let them approach me when they want. I love to play and pet animals.

About: Fur Baby Caretaker LLC I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was 4yrs old. I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I worked at from 2018-2022. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION** I work part time in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I usually to stay local when running errands. My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

About: My whole life I’ve been around animals. I used to own 2 dogs and would foster street animals. I would volunteer at an animal shelter to gain more proper animal care, I was a groomer to learn animal behavior, and back to college I’ve gained animal experience for all different sizes of animals. Not only this but I go to my friends house weekly to play with their dogs and play with them During this summer I am attending school but only have 2 classes from 8am-3pm. Afterward I am trying to gain any opportunities that will help me grow my resume and animal experience. I am a huge pet person and prefer to spend my time caring and giving attention to the pet. About: Hello, my name is Daya. I’ve been working with animals, technically my entire life and I know that’s what you typically read.. when I was younger I had roosters, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbit, lizards, and birds. I was seeking to becoming a veterinarian technician, but I know that wasn’t my real passion. I became a Dog trainer, now for 6 years. I have been working with reactive dogs (aggressive) and the reason why I say reactive is because our dogs react towards something that makes our dogs look aggressive or probably are. I make sure as a Dog Trainer and the pet parent have a clear understanding what we need to do to help out our dogs. The training I do is obedience. I came to Rover to help out pet parents in need and not just with training but to also care for your furry friend when you're at work. Not only am I a Dog trainer, but I’m also a dog bather at my job. So, I don’t just train dogs. I make sure they are groomed well and again I just bathe. I Do Not cut hair. I want to make sure that our furry friends are clean and healthy so when they are in our home or it’s summer, they feel fresh and fine. I am also a pet parent myself. I have two cats and two dogs of my own. In the picture that you see on Rover, I am Daya the person on the right side. Every day I need to make sure that my babies are fed and well. As myself I do have and work a full-time job, thankfully. I exercise my dogs and cats before I head to work to make sure they move around before I head to work because I know they’re probably just waiting for me to come home.

About: I have experience with newborns as I fostered my dog fajita and his five other siblings when they were just two weeks old. I have experience in bottle feeding, formula and cleaning. I also have experience in gravely ill dogs that require administering medication’s. I am new to this area and looking forward to meeting new pups and assisting their paw parents with their pet care needs. I work a 3/12 which gives me a lot of flexibility to spend time with your pup whether that be going to the park, a hike, a stroll around the neighborhood or just keeping them company. I have a gated yard that has enough space for you’re put to sniff, play and run around. No toxic chemicals are sprayed in the grass and the property is secure enough that you can feel at ease knowing your pup is safe.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, and I do believe it is my purpose in life! I have worked at dog day care facilities and rehab clinics for sick / injured wild animals, where I received training in CPR, medication administration and behavioral training. PLEASE NOTE: I can only board dogs that are under 50lbs in my home. However, I am more than happy to walk / drop-in on dogs of any size!
