About: Hi! I will be moving to the Manhattan Beach area in September and can’t wait to explore the neighborhood! I have taken care of dogs for most of my life whether I am playing with my own puppy or pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I am currently working full-time, however I work from home so I am flexible and can likely accommodate last minute schedules. Generally, I am available before 8:30am and after 5:30pm. I have a very high energy golden doodle at home. This means that walks are full of adventure and require high attention since he wants to say hello to every other dog and person in the neighborhood. Safety for your pets is incredibly important to me and I will treat your pets as I would my own!

“Devon was available to walk Charlie on short notice, and we are so grateful for the help! She asked good questions in advance, arrived right on time, and sent a few photos. We look forward to working with her again!”

About: With over 30 years of caring for both dogs and cats, I have a deep understanding of animal behavior and know how to make pets feel safe, calm, loved, and comfortable, especially when their owners are away or at work. I offer more than basic pet sitting; I create a nurturing environment where pets receive personalized attention, affection, exercise, and emotional support. My background in healthy lifestyle coaching also helps me stay attentive, active, organized, and compassionate with every pet I care for. I am particularly patient with senior pets, shy animals, and pets that need extra reassurance or consistency in their routines. It fits into my schedule because I can spend time with them at the beach, the dog park, walking around town, or just hopping in the car to visit a larger dog park. Life is good when time isn't an issue. My home is fenced and offers plenty of space for outdoor play. Plus, we spend most of our time outside. I cook homemade food for my fur baby and always take a nap after a long walk. You can feel reassured knowing your fur babies will have someone present, attentive, experienced, and caring while they are away.
“Gabriella is an excellent dog walker for my 2 fur babies! She is very gentle and caring with them and they love her for it! I highly recommend her for all types of dog care needs!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life and have grown up surrounded by pups of all sizes and personalities. Friends regularly trust me to care for their dogs while they’re away, and my experience fostering has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to each dog’s unique needs. Since I work from home, your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Whether we’re out on a long walk, playing at a park, or relaxing with belly rubs, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and adored! I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I primarily offer care on weekdays, but I’m also available on weekends with advance notice. Your pup will get lots of companionship and attentive care while you’re away. I live in a quiet apartment just a couple of blocks from the beach and a beautiful nature path, making it the perfect spot for walks and outdoor time. With no kids or other pets in the home, I can provide a calm, safe environment where your dog will get plenty of one-on-one attention and care.
About: I’ve spent years helping dogs become their best selves — and more importantly, helping owners build deeper, healthier relationships with them. I trained under The Bark Stop, possibly the best dog training school in the U.S., based in Florida. It’s an award-winning program focused on force-free, fear-free methods, and I’m proud to call myself a dedicated student of that philosophy. People often ask if I’m a professional trainer just from seeing how well-behaved my two dogs are — Dogson, a 7-year-old Maltipoo, and Bocky, his 9-year-old older brother. I’ve helped train dogs of all sizes and personalities for friends and family, and I bring calm, confidence, and compassion to every interaction. I’m also certified in Cat and Dog First Aid by the American Red Cross, which means in the event of an emergency, your pet will be in trained and capable hands. I’m an intermediate groomer as well — I do our dogs’ cuts, nail trims, and even gland expression when needed. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority, and I will be the only person providing care. I work remotely in tech as a full-stack product builder, which gives me the freedom to plan my day around your dog’s routine. I’m up early (usually by 6:30 AM), and as long as there’s solid Wi-Fi, I can work from anywhere. That means I’m available for walks, check-ins, meals, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. My wife is based out of San Francisco for work and is not involved in my Rover services. All pet care will be handled by me, personally. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to provide updates so you always feel connected while you’re away. I’m a full-time van-lifer currently based out of a Mercedes Sprinter camper van. Because of that, I only offer house-sitting — not boarding. I never stay inside your home unless you specifically request it. I prefer to stay in my van, which I park right in your driveway or nearby in the neighborhood, and I check in throughout the day to care for your pup in the comfort of their own space. This setup has worked beautifully during sits for friends and family across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico — especially for weekend getaways and short trips. I also love sending photo and video updates as often as you’d like. One of my favorite things is capturing those joyful reunion moments when you return home. It’s a privilege to be part of that. And just to clarify: all care will be provided by me alone. If my wife ever joins the platform in the future, she will have her own separate profile.
“The first walk doesn’t always go great, especially when the owner provides the wrong entry code into the building, lol. But we worked through it and Marevie was very understanding!”

“Brooke has been incredibly consistent/punctual. My pup is always excited when Brooke comes over and is always exhausted after her walks. I absolutely would recommend for anybody that needs help!”

About: I have three years of experience dog-sitting and walking my sister’s terrier mix, so I’m comfortable with routines, walks, feeding, and giving pets the attention they need to feel secure. Outside of that, I’m an art history professor and PhD student, which means I’m very responsible, organized, and reliable. Years of teaching and working in museums have trained me to be attentive, patient, and detail-oriented, qualities I bring directly into pet care. I’m calm, consistent, and genuinely love spending time with both dogs and cats. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available all day on Mondays and Fridays, and most weekends. On Tuesdays, I’m available until 1 pm; on Wednesdays, after 2 pm; and on Thursdays, until 3 pm. I’m reliable, consistent, and able to maintain your pet’s routine. I provide care in my client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their own environment and maintain their usual routines. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific needs. I’m very respectful of your home, keep spaces clean, and prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.

I currently have a cat as well as a horse that I care for daily. I am familiar with administering oral meds, providing stimulating play time, and giving pets the love they deserve. Please reach out with any questions - I look forward to meeting you! I work full time remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule! About: I only take one family’s dog (or dogs) at a time — never a mixed group, never a crowded house. That’s a deliberate choice, not a limitation: it means your pet gets my full attention the entire visit or stay, in a calm, low-stress environment instead of competing for space and attention with other people’s animals. It’s why my rates run higher than sitters who take multiple families at once — you’re booking exclusive care, not a spot in a group. Whether your dog loves long beach walks, playful adventures, or quiet companionship, I adapt to what actually makes them comfortable — not a one-size-fits-all routine. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, medications, special diets, and pets who need extra patience. You’ll get regular photo updates and clear communication throughout. My goal is simple: you enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved — with no one else’s pet in the picture. My flexible schedule lets me provide attentive care throughout the day, not just quick in-and-out visits. Whether your pet needs frequent potty breaks, medication, exercise, companionship, or a consistent routine, I tailor my availability to fit their needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. For boarding, I welcome one dog — or one family’s dogs — at a time, so every guest gets personalized attention in a calm, uncrowded home environment. I closely follow each pet’s normal routine: feeding schedules, medications, exercise, sleep preferences, and any special instructions you provide. For house sitting, I keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible in the comfort of their own home. I treat every home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own, and I keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your trip.

About: What sets me apart is the personalized attention I give every pet. I’ve cared for a Mini Goldendoodle since puppyhood and have experience with breeds of different sizes and personalities, including German Shepherds and Cocker Spaniels. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I focus on providing a safe, loving, and reliable experience while keeping pets happy, active, and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply spending time with pets, I genuinely enjoy incorporating it into my day and staying active while caring for animals. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure they are well-fed, have fresh water, and are cared for throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and potty breaks, keeping them active and hydrated, and spending time playing with them, like throwing the ball or engaging in interactive play. I also make sure their environment stays clean and comfortable, and I always take time for cuddles and attention so they feel safe and loved while their owners are away.

We had such a great experience with Devon! She showed up right on time, was incredibly communicative, and took such great care of our Storm girl. We loved getting the updates and adorable photos from their walk—it was so reassuring to know Storm was happy and in great hands. Devon was so sweet, and Storm clearly loved her! We’ve already booked her again and would absolutely recommend her!

I am very satisfied with the service I received from Saffi. It is very comforting to know I can trust someone to help me with my pets when I’m out on vacation. Saffi sent me updates and photos and I knew my dog was very happy. I definitely would recommend her to anyone on the Rover app. Thank you Saffi!

Joanne was amazing! She was able to help us out last minute when our other walkers weren't available. She was thoughtful and took careful notes so she wouldn't miss any details. While we were away, she took great care of our little guy and sent us regular messages to keep us updated. We look forward to using Joanne again in the future. Thank you!

Lara was incredible!! Osito is our 11 month old pup with lots of energy and she kept him entertained the whole night, and then even came back to take him for a walk the next day on short notice. Will absolutely be using her again. Osito was sad to see her leave! Thank you Lara!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
