About: I have always loved pets and have been dog-sitting since high school. I've watched dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and activity levels. Breeds have ranged from Yorkies, Aussiedoodles, Border Collies, Vizlas, Airedales, and between. I have watched high-energy dogs and puppies as young as 4 months old and have experience watching dogs as old as 14 with arthritis/epilepsy. I have been through an off-leash training certification program as well as leash reactivity training. Whenever I have free time, I like to go on walks and would love a companion. I live near The Strand and Greenbelt, giving your pet a range of places to be walked. I love catching the sunset on the strand after work or walking to coffee along the greenbelt on weekends. I take long walks but will accommodate the needed activity level of your pet. Many of my friends have pets, so we scope out pet-friendly spots on the weekends so their fur babies can join in on the fun. I live with two other female roommates who are pet lovers. We have a fenced-in patio and are a short walk away from the parks/walking trails. In my home, a pet can sleep wherever they are most comfortable. I am well-versed in enrichment activities for dog breeds that need them. I have experience administering medication and special food diets. I am very responsible, and always ensure the home is secured (doors locked, windows shut, garage closed). I have a car and a clean driving record, in case your pet needs to be taken to urgent care.

About: I have been taking care of pets - from cats, dogs, horses and more - since I was 6 years old! I grew up with a Portuguese Water Dog which is a very high energy breed and was the known neighborhood dog and cat sitter whenever anyone went out of town! I currently have a cat as well as a horse that I care for daily. I am familiar with administering oral meds, providing stimulating play time, and giving pets the love they deserve. I know how difficult it can be to trust another to take care of your special friend, and I pride myself in caring for others as I would my own - with much love, care and attention to detail. About: Here to provide care I have always been looking for. Excited to be back on Rover after focusing on spending quality time with my beloved senior dog, Ziggy, for the past year. When I travelled, I have always found it to be difficult to find a good match for my high maintenance bulldog, and so many times things have gone wrong for one reason or another. So I am here to provide your precious furry kids with care that I was looking for. Pups are undoubtedly fun, but often we need someone mature to look after them, which often includes more than taking them for a walk and playing tag of war. We need someone reliable and safe who will be vigilant on walks, attentive to pets' behavior and knowledgable about their health. Being a cat and dog owner myself, I am happy to be that person for you. I am experienced and able to provide first aid care (wound care and etc). I have always had pets growing up and cannot see my life without their presence. My most recent pets include a very high maintenance 13 year old bulldog named Ziggy, and a cat that I found in woods and nurtured back to health, Casper (who got adopted and is as happy as a cat can be). My Ziggy has recently passed away from cancer we battled for the past 10 months. Taking care of my beloved pup during his last days equipped me with invaluable senior dog care/hospice experience, so older dogs will always have a special place in my heart. Growing up, he was a very active mischievous friend, despite of being a bulldog mix, so we did enjoy our time together exploring and playing until he slowed down. About: I have good patience with all dogs from puppies to seniors. I treat them as if they were like my own furry baby. Every fur baby have their own personality and it’s heart warming when I see their excited tail wagging when I approach them. I’ve had good experience taking care of my 15 year old dog (princess) when she was a senior. I am working part-time. My downtime consist of me hanging out with my puppy whether it consist of play time or walking him to be out and about besides staying home all day. I have a fenced front yard with a front lawn and a big cement backyard. If clients need specific instructions, please don’t hesitate. I have a 2 year old golden doodle puppy.
