As a dog mom to two golden retrievers (8 and 4), I’ve had plenty of experience with dogs of all energy levels, temperaments, and needs. I’m comfortable managing medications, preventing allergy triggers, and handling allergic reactions if they arise. Our home has a large front and backyard, perfect for playtime, exercise, and fresh air. Whether your pup needs long walks, belly rubs, or someone to sit quietly and keep them company, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and all the reassurance you need—so you can relax, knowing your dog is in good hands. At the end of the day, it’s not just about keeping your dog fed and exercised—it’s about making sure they feel at home, even when you’re not there. Because your dog deserves the best. And so do you. Both my husband and I work fully remote. We’re flexible with our schedules and always block out time for long walks to the beach and a lot of time to play and interactive with ours and your pups! We’re early risers as well and are flexible accommodating for your pups needs throughout the day. If caring for pets in our home, you can expect a minimum of 3 walks a day and lots of outdoor time in our front and backyard patio. We don’t have any dangerous areas in either patio, but will still keep a close eye on any pups to ensure full safety. If caring for pups in your home, you can expect me to treat your home like my own and respect it fully while also sticking to your pups schedule you would keep on a regular basis. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was old enough to walk one. From growing up with a beagle mix named Scooter to my parent’s golden, Dani, dogs have always been part of my life. I’ve lived with and looked after a wide range of breeds, including Shelties (Indi and Shelty), Goldens, Doodles and pups with special health needs. Your pup will share a home with me, my wife and our lovable rescue, Mookie, a 3 year old spunky tiny girl. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet routine and gentle care, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s personality and needs. Our previous dog, Phoebe, suffered from seizures and heart disease which prepared me to act quickly in dire circumstances. I treat every dog as if they’re my own—with patience, affection, and respect. I’d love to help you give your pup the best care while you’re away! I freelance and my fiancee works from home three days a week, so between us two your pup will have a lot of company and attention! Other than days which we both happen to have busy schedules (which I will note or block off), we have a very flexible schedule. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and happiness come first. I follow all care instructions closely—feeding routines, medications, walk schedules, and any special needs—to help your dog feel at ease and cared for like one of our own. At home, we have a calm, pet-friendly apartment shared with our 3-year-old Maltese mix, Mookie. She’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and great with other dogs. We’re happy to schedule a meet-and-greet in advance to make sure your pup and Mookie are a good match. While we don’t have a yard, we go on walks and make sure your dog gets exercise, attention, and love throughout the day. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you can feel confident your dog is safe, happy, and in good hands.
