“Griffin and Tuck bonded so well - which isn’t always the case for Tuck (he’s always friendly, but gets anxious leaving me), so I was immediately impressed! When tuck got back to me, he was elated, but tired. Griffin played a ton of fetch with Tuck, too, something I specially requested because it’s Tuck’s favorite thing! My dog is happy, a healthy level of tired, and satisfied :) excited to have Tuck and Griffin play together again!!”

About: I was a dog mom to big labrador husky. Until recently, we had to say goodbye to our silly beloved pup. I want to continue giving my time and attention to dogs of all sizes on daily walks, check in with your pet at your home or board at mine. I also have a cat, and know how playful they can be as kittens and as adults they like to come to you with mellow energy. I know how special fur babies are to us and how much love they give back. Allow me shower your fur baby with love, playtime and daily walks while you are away! I have experience with dog pulling and how to handle barking at other dogs. I also can drive your dog to another location in my car. I will need your doggie booster or car harness. My mornings are remote working 8am-12pm during the week. I have a deck and large backyard the we can take breaks playing and a doggie door to access for potty breaks. After lunch, we can go on a nice long walk 30-60mins in the neighborhood. I have a fenced backyard and a sliding door for the deck. My parents have a senior cat, two double doors to separate access. I believe in respecting people’s space and privacy. When you need me to pet sit at your place, I will stay in the living room and kindly ask if I can use the restroom if necessary.

“Katherine was great with my dog Ruby! I definitely get nervous leaving Ruby with someone new and Katherine went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She was great at communicating with me and ruby looked very happy on her walk!”

About: I grew up with two cats at home and currently live with a cat at home with my roommate. I have experience taking care of dogs, I'm a huge animal lover. Im currently a student at Loyola Marymount University studying Film and TV Production, I'm looking for a generally consistent routine, but I can be spontaneous and flexible! I can read the room, I won't push boundaries keeping pets comfortable and safe. I'll follow instructions and choose what is best for the situation.
“My baby Maggie just returned from her walk with Megan so happy!!! Megan clearly read the profile and followed our advice. We are very protective of our pet and so happy that we tried Megan. Fantastic!!”

About: I’ve loved dogs and cats since the day I was born. I’m a dog (cat) mom and have worked with rescue animals. Being with animals brings me so much joy and it’s a job I take very seriously. I’m a full time dog walker, cat sitter and It has been my dream job for years. Sadly due to the circle of life, I’ve lost several animals (including my senior pup) recently and would love to have some new fur friends in my life. Having me in your home will give you a big piece of mind as I am very outgoing, respectful, clean, efficient, and believe in karma!

About: With over 15 years of experience in personalized pup walking and pet sitting, I’ve cared for all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. I’ve also fostered more than 35 puppies/dogs for rescue organizations; in addition to my own pets, helping them grow into confident social companions so that they can find their home. In addition, I bring over 11 years of dog training experience, allowing me to work confidently with shy, high-energy and/or behaviorally unique pups. I understand that every pup is different and I tailor my training to meet each one’s individual needs. Your pup’s safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each individual's unique personality, routine and needs - whether that means high-energy playtime, structured walks and/or a sniffing safari for shy and/or senior pups. I always move at their comfort level, respect boundaries and use positive gentle handling to create a safe and stress-free experience. During every visit, I make sure your dog receives attentive care, companionship and plenty of enrichment. I’m happy to follow specific feeding routines, administer basic medications, reinforce training cues and keep their environment clean, safe and secure. With my background in photography, you’ll receive high-quality photo and video updates during each visit - so you can feel connected, reassured and confident that your pup is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide your pets with the time, attention and care they deserve. I focus on keeping them both physically active and mentally stimulated, whether that’s through walks, playtime, enrichment activities and/or simply providing companionship. We have access to two fenced-in dog parks within my complex, providing 2 safe and fun space for exercise and play. I also have a dog-friendly 5 year old spayed female dog, up-to-date with vaccines, who gets along great with both dogs and cats - she loves having company, whether it’s for playtime or just relaxing at home watching TV.
“Sarah and Karl are wonderful to work with! They’re reliable, communicative, and always send updates and photos from each walk. My dog can be a little anxious around new people but they were so patient and understanding from the start. Now, she looks forward to her walks with them. It’s clear she feels safe and happy in their care. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up caring for our family dog for 18 years, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of a dog’s life, from playful puppy years to the extra patience and attention senior dogs need. Later, I cared for a 3.5-pound dog for four years, handling house training, potty breaks, socialization, grooming and vet appointments, and feeding routines. I also worked as a dog walker on Wag for two years. Living in Playa del Rey, one of LA’s most pet-friendly neighborhoods, I’m surrounded by great walking paths and dog-friendly spaces. I’m dependable, communicative, and treat every pet like family. I’m currently working part-time, but when I’m employed full time I’m usually working either fully remote or hybrid with only a couple days per week in office. If I’m showing as available, feel free to book me! Otherwise, I will let you know if I’m not available. I would let the dog roam about my 1 bedroom apartment, and even better if you can provide either a crate or a little cushion for them to lay on.
“Shanice is so communicative and caring. I'm so glad we found her! She keeps us updated on all of the walks and sends amazing photos. I feel very comfortable with our pup in her hands and will definitely continue to use her in the future!”
“Jasmine is great. She was caring and took the time to work with our anxious dog slowly. I would recommend her to anyone who has a small nervous dog that requires time.”

“Very professional . Josh made me feel very comfortable with handing him my 95 pounds malamute. I felt he had true experience with dogs. He has the zen- calm - confident demeanor that pack type dogs like huskies malamutes etc ... need to feel comfortable with their leader. He is punctual, stress-free attitude, communicates clearly and and overall gave a great friendly service. I will be happy to call for him again.”

About: I have 2 dogs: Milo, a 10 year old corgi-dachshund, and Libby, an 8 year old terrier mix. They don’t live with me (they’re at home with my mom) so everyday I miss having them around! I also cared for the sweetest pitbull mix during his senior stage. His name was Brewski and he will forever stay in my heart❤️ I’ve also volunteered for pet outings with the Humane Society where we take a dog out of the shelter on little adventures to help enrich/socialize them. I’ve also fostered puppies and a German-shepherd. 😊 I currently work from home full-time so I will have full flexibility to watch/play with your babies! We can go on walks in the morning, during my lunch hour, and after work. I am available for dog walking, day care, and boarding on weekdays and weekends. About: Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by my profile. . I'm a dependable, trustworthy animal lover and proud dog mom to two rescue pups, Chance and Kobe. Before them, I rescued a kitten from a shelter who lived to be 18 years old. She had diabetes, so I administered her insulin injections twice a day, every day, for years. . Today, Chance has Addison's disease and corneal edema, so I'm very experienced with administering oral medications, injections, eye drops, and eye ointments (all things he needs now! ❤️). I understand how important it is to follow medication schedules and provide calm, attentive care, especially for pets with medical needs. . I grew up with Dobermans and German Shepherds, which gave me a lot of senior dog experience as I cared for them as they grew old. I have hands-on experience with reactive dogs, including redirecting behaviors, reading body language, and reinforcing basic training. Because one of my own dogs is reactive, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and respecting each pet's comfort level. I worked with multiple rescues, fostering dogs and cats (a lot of cats). I would rescue them from the euthanasia list at the high-kill shelters, administer meds, as they were always sick, care and foster them until they found their forever home. I also used to manage a doggy day care. . I am a working professional & work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to the pets in my care. While I absolutely adore my dogs, I also miss spending time with cats and would love the opportunity to care for yours or your pups😉! . My pups are family and my BFFs; I do everything I can to give them the happiest, healthiest life possible. I'll care for your pets with that same level of love, patience, and attention, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I currently work remote, which allows a somewhat flexible schedule to do drops-ins and walks. Since I have my own 2 pups, I'm not available for boarding or overnight stays. I would love to follow any instructions you give me so I can care for pet just as you would. Pets love routines and schedules so I will keep to whatever you tell me. I know what it's like to have sitters and want things done a specific way, I'm very good at paying attention to details. I'll send a text when I arrive and when I leave to make sure you know your pet is being cared for.
About: I've been caring for cats since I was atleast 8. One of our cats was a stray who I bonded with over many months and continue to bond with now even though she is a bit frosty in her old age. The trust we have built for each other has been a beautiful experience. My family rescued a senior dog in 2016 and I have helped to care for her since then. I have a soft spot for senior dogs and want to make them as comfortable as I can. I work part time at the LMU library so my hours are pretty minimal. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the evenings. As I am hoping this will be a second source of income I am pretty flexible with my schedule as long as it doesn't interfere with my other job. I do not like to make a mess or any sort of impression in places that I visit. I am very patient with animals. If your pet is anxious or introverted I am fine to keep to myself completely or get to know them on their terms. I would never want to cross any line with a pet or homeowner.

Katherine walked Katsu while I was out of town and she was amazing! She sent me lots of updates and photos of my dog which put my mind at ease. Very easy and fast communication! Would highly recommend Katherine!! Definitely planning to book her again even when i’m in town

Our dog, Tucky, is very particular about the people he warms up to, so we’re always cautious when leaving him with someone. He absolutely loved Adam! They had the best time together, and it was clear from the start that Tucky felt comfortable. Adam was incredibly communicative throughout the stay and sent lots of updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. We came home to a happy pup and would not hesitate to book with Adam again. Highly recommend! 🐾
Kevin is THE BEST!! I have a Husky who can be a little crazy on the leash so I always worry. I had to travel for 24 hours and asked Kevin to come walk and check on Mac a few times. He was super communicative which made me feel that Mac was in good hands and that I could trust him to keep Mac safe. I came back to a very happy, chill doggo :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
