“Amy did a great job with our three cats. She followed our instructions to the letter and communicated well. We were able to enjoy our vacation, confident that Amy had a steady hand on the wheel, and came home to happy, relaxed cats. We won’t hesitate to call upon Amy again!”

“Tara took such good care of my cats when I was gone!!!! I'd never been away from them for this long, but she kept me at ease. This was my first time using Rover but from beginning to end she was suuuuuuper helpful and informative and made my vacation super stress free. My cats clearly fell in love with her while I was away and the daily report cards brought me such joy. Will definitely reach out again in the future this was a 12/10 experience.”

About: Moving to LA meant leaving my family dogs back home. Missing my four-legged besties led me to the world of pet sitting. My experience ranges from caring for Golden Retrievers to Bengal cats. With love and respect at the forefront, I take care of every pet as if it is one of my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around the pets in my care, whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, playtime, walks, or just being present for companionship. Because of this flexibility, I’m more than willing to adjust and mold my schedule to meet each owner’s specific needs and ensure their pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. I focus on creating a comfortable, stress-free experience by sticking closely to each pet’s normal routine. I follow all care instructions carefully so pets feel secure and at ease. In my home, I provide a clean, safe, and calm environment with plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and aim to keep everything consistent for the pet, which helps reduce anxiety while their owner is away. On top of that, I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, making adjustments as needed and ensuring they’re happy and comfortable. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Barbara did an amazing job taking care of my pets. She arrived on time, sent me cute photos of the pets, and did everything I asked to be done. I will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

About: I've been a Mom of 3 furry dog tails (2 small street dogs and 1 husky) when i was 18yo till 21yo, at the age of 25 I become a Mom for adopted rescue boy of jack russell and rat terrier mix for lovely 4.5 years; during that time occasionally I would take care of my friend Husky at my house, and another friends Cats at their households. I love being around furry friends, play with them, take them on a very very long walks. My schedule is very flexible. I work at coffee shop 6 hours shifts; usually from 8AM till 2PM, rarely from 2PM till 7PM in Playa del Rey. I'm an early morning bird, so waking up around 6AM it's my normal. At doggies household my first priority is to follow the set of rules and guidance from owners. Walks, food at scheduled time. Making sure that pet is comfy, have enough attention and affection.
“Maria and Ben took such amazing care of Aspen. This was our first time using rover because it’s been so hard finding someone we trust with our baby and they went above and beyond. We got constant updates and it was so comforting to know she was being loved and having the best time without us.”

About: With over 15 years of experience in dog walking and personalized pet sitting, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. I’ve also fostered more than 35 puppies and dogs for rescue organizations, in addition to my own pets, helping them grow into confident social companions so that they can find their home. In addition, I bring over 11 years of dog training experience, allowing me to work confidently with shy, high-energy and/or behaviorally unique pups. I understand that every dog is different and I tailor my training to meet each one’s individual needs. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each dog’s unique personality, routine and needs - whether that means high-energy playtime, structured walks or a slower, more relaxed pace for shy and/or senior pups. I always move at their comfort level, respect boundaries, and use positive, gentle handling to create a safe and stress-free experience. During every visit, I make sure your dog receives attentive care, companionship, and plenty of enrichment. I’m happy to follow specific feeding routines, administer basic medications, reinforce training cues, and keep their environment clean and secure. With my background in photography, you’ll receive high-quality photo and video updates after each visit - so you can feel connected, reassured and confident that your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide your pets with the time, attention and care they deserve. I focus on keeping them both physically active and mentally stimulated, whether that’s through walks, playtime, enrichment activities and/or simply providing companionship. We have access to two fenced-in dog parks within my complex, providing a safe and fun space for exercise and play. I also have a friendly 5 year old spayed female dog, up-to-date with vaccines, who gets along great with both dogs and cats - she loves having company, whether it’s for playtime or just relaxing at home watching TV.
“Alyssa was great with my two cats, she even made my more timid cat at ease and comfortable. She kept me updated with lots of pics and a detailed report! I will be booking again :)”

“So grateful for Brianna checking in on my kitty while I was out of town! My friend last minute wasn’t able to do check-ins and Brianna was so quick to respond and accept on short notice! She checked in during her visits and sent pictures even if my cat was hiding. She went above and beyond with resetting my Furbo so I could see my cat during my trip too. Would absolutely recommend her for any of your cat sitting needs and will absolutely be rebooking with her for future long trips!”

About: Throughout my life I have owned cats and dogs. At the moment I only have one cat which is the least amount of pets I've had since I was around 5 years old, so I am craving more animals to care for! In terms of dog care, I work nights as a restaurants server so I have plenty of time during the day for walks, hikes, and play time with your pup! I live in an apartment with no yard so boarding dogs is limited to cat friendly smaller breeds and I will be most helpful for either drop in visits, or care in your home for your baby. Most of my experience is with larger breeds such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and more high maintenance breeds such as Huskies. However, I love to play and take care of my friends' French bulldogs and mini bully mix! Currently my family dog is a sweet yet strong personality Siberian Husky named Sasha who lives with my parents, and we love to go on hikes or long walks on the beach together whenever we can! My Husky Sasha is a very typical, sensitive husky who taught me a lot of patience and respecting of boundaries when it comes to dogs. Grooming her is a job only my brother and I seem to be able to take on adar requires a lot patience and listening to her cues and I can bring that patience and sensitivity to caring for your pet. Overall, I love caring for pets! It gives me so much joy and purpose and I would love to share that with your fur baby and be a part of their care village! Available upon scheduling 7 days a week, 7AM-4PM I currently only work nights so I am available upon scheduling during the day 7 days a week. I also have flexibility in these hours if later or earlier times may be needed. (Often when I hike I go early in the morning around 630, but that is flexible depending on your schedule). I love to run and hike, so i can bring your dog on some adventures that are sure to stretch their legs and provide some fun! My cat and I play at least 30 minutes a day and I love chasing him around the house to get his legs moving and his heart pumping!
“Mary is the absolute best!! we are picky with our fur babies, and she is top-notch, responsive, and incredibly loving with our cats!! highly highly highly recommend”

“Emily was so sweet with our pets and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. She stopped in to check on our cats a few times when we were out of town and also took our dog out potty once he was dropped off. Detailed updates and lots of photos with our pets looking so happy to hang out with her. Thank you again, Emily!”

About: I have a passion for animal care! I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including raising my own Australian Lab Henry, caring for my friends’ and neighbors’ pets, and even volunteer work helping facilitate equine therapy. I can’t wait to meet and treat your best friend! I am a full-time student in-between programs at the moment, so my days are largely free. This leaves most of the week open for looking after your pet! I do not have the facilities to keep or look after your dog in my own studio apartment, but I am happy to watch over your pet in their own home or take them on walks! I can easily clean up after your pet, follow precise feeding directions, take them on adventures of their own (from the sidewalk to the park!) and crate them up at the end of the day.
About: Since I was very small, I’ve cared for a menagerie of animals, including cats and dogs, reptiles and small critters, even horses and goats. I’ve had a number of special needs animals of my own, and am very well-acquainted with administering medication and accommodating special needs. After recently losing my elderly dog for whom I had been managing severe epilepsy, and my elderly cat to cancer, I’m used to providing near constant care and love, and now find myself with time on my hands and love to spare. I deeply understand the stress of leaving your pet in a stranger’s care, and I’ll make sure you can see that your pet is safe with me. I live at the beach on a great trail network with walkable parks to give your dogs a taste of vacation, whatever their preference, and have a deck in the trees with large floor to ceiling windows full of birds and squirrels to keep your cats entertained. I work full time from home with a very flexible schedule. Until recently I was caring for an elderly dog with severe epilepsy that required 3x daily medication, and an elderly cat with cancer who required feeding every couple of hours, so I’m accustomed to my days centering around animals’ schedules. Living at the beach means I take walk breaks throughout the day, and I appreciate that animals give me a ready excuse to step away from my computer. I have a deck in the trees that’s great for sunbathing and creature watching, and am 50 yards from the beach and it’s path, as well as a large local park and trail network along the wetlands. I work in the main space of my home, so it’s easy for me to have eyes on your pet at all times. Wherever they are in terms of their needs, I’m happy to meet them there!
“Olivia and Lucas were so great with our cat and provided great updates and videos during check ins. I will definitely be reaching out to them the next time we go out of town!!”
“Was really great with my cat! It was my first time leaving him alone for a weekend and she was very reassuring and responsive and sent a lot of pictures! Very flexible as well when I needed to add on an extra visit last minute! Will absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: I've been caring for cats since I was atleast 8. One of our cats was a stray who I bonded with over many months and continue to bond with now even though she is a bit frosty in her old age. The trust we have built for each other has been a beautiful experience. My family rescued a senior dog in 2016 and I have helped to care for her since then. I have a soft spot for senior dogs and want to make them as comfortable as I can. I work part time at the LMU library so my hours are pretty minimal. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the evenings. As I am hoping this will be a second source of income I am pretty flexible with my schedule as long as it doesn't interfere with my other job. I do not like to make a mess or any sort of impression in places that I visit. I am very patient with animals. If your pet is anxious or introverted I am fine to keep to myself completely or get to know them on their terms. I would never want to cross any line with a pet or homeowner.
About: I've taken care of pets for family, friends & neighbors my entire life! I absolutely love all animals and offer reliable pet care you can count on I work as collegiate Track Coach, so during the summer months (mid-May to August) I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of time for walks & pet care! I love to run, so if your dog needs to get some energy out, I'm your gal I am careful about following directions from the pet owner and make sure to stick as close to the pet's normal schedule (feeding, walks, sleep) as possible
“Sarah is the best! Our cats just loved her. She’s communicative and we appreciated getting updates with pics of how they were all doing. I highly recommend Sarah as a pet sitter; we were able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind.”
