“Yuliia is a fantastic cat sitter! My kitties adore her and are so well behaved after spending time with her. She also goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and is a great communicator with me. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Madeline took excellent care of Nori! She was always on time, provided above and beyond communication, and took the time to play with Nori each visit. I will absolutely be having her back to watch our cat again!”

“Thank you so much Marissa for taking such good care of my large pups! I was so grateful and comfortable knowing that they were in good caring hands. I really appreciate your patience with them.”

About: Caring dog owner with hands-on experience raising my own puppy and caring for my friends’ dogs. Reliable, patient, and always focused on safety and comfort. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending my free time caring for pets, ensuring reliable walks, and feeding. I’m home often, love outdoor time, and make sure every pet gets attention and consistency. I follow each pet’s routine carefully, keeping their environment secure with regular walks. I ensure doors are locked, food and water fresh, and pets happy.
“Laura is amazing! She stepped in super last minute to take care of my boy when my friend flaked on me WHILE I was out of town. Laura is kind, trustworthy, and very patient. My dog is a bit on the shyer side and she seemed to know exactly what to do on how to gain his trust based on intuition and experience. I can’t recommend her enough and will be hiring her in the future. Thank you again, Laura! 🩷✨”

“Molly was amazing at taking care of our cats. We last minute booked a trip and needed someone to help us with the cats. Molly was easy to communicate with, and we felt very comfortable. Can't wait to use her again.”

“Melanie was a wonderful pet sitter and my two cats loved her. They are both pretty afraid of strangers but they both came out to play and get pets when she came over, which I think says a lot for her energy and love of animals. I will definitely be using her again to watch my babies when I travel next, and I highly recommend her.”

About: I've always taken care of dogs my entire life. From the yellow lab I had until high school to my neighbor's three maltese, I've been trusted with feeding, walking, and bathing them. With the range of sizes I've watched, I'm more than happy to just chill with them or take them on a hike in the mountains (if theyre feeling truly adventurous)! I'm also especially experienced with dogs with separation anxiety (ask me about my cattle dog haha)! I'm currently looking for work, so my schedule is extremely open! Usually mornings or evenings work best for my natural schedule, but I'm very flexible. I've never caged any of the animals I've cared for, save for the few families who need that for their pets. I also usually look around the area in advance to look for any parks or landmarks the dogs may be interested in (and I'm always open to suggestions from the owner)! I want to make sure the pets feel safe, friendly, and comfortable to be their true selves!
“Just wanted to give a review on Christine. I worked with her on my last vacation and she is a wonderful care giver to my animals. Always on time and takes the extra effort to get things done..She would be a definite asset to your animal care needs.”

About: I truly love animals. I don’t just “watch” them — I spend time with them, talk to them, and make sure they feel safe and loved while their family is away. I’m very patient and gentle, especially with pets that are shy, older or a little anxious. I pay attention to the small things — how they like to be touched, if they’re eating well, or if their energy changes — and I always keep you updated with photos or videos so you feel close to them even from far away. I work part-time, so I have plenty of time to love, feed, play and be present with your pets. My days are calm and flexible for them. I create a cozy, safe and peaceful space. I’m gentle, clean, and always pay attention to how they feel. You’ll get updates so your heart stays calm too.
“Anya was wonderful with our cat and managed to give her medication, which is no easy feat! She was lovely, responsive and responsible. Would definitely book her again. Thanks, Anya!”

“Meng was timely with all her communication, had great attention to detail, and did a really nice job checking in on our cat while we were gone on a long vacation. It helped give us peace of mind that he was okay and cared for while we weren’t at home. She even brought our packages in from our front door for us which was a nice extra touch and not part of the job. We would gladly work with her again!”

About: Please read until the end :) I’ve been an animal person for as long as I can remember. I got my first dog at 11. It was a 2 year old Pomeranian. And a year later we brought home another, this time a senior. Having two dogs that young meant I had to show my parents that I was responsible. So I learned take care of them myself, from baths to keeping up with their vaccines. Some of my favorite memories are just walking them to the park or running around the house playing chase until I was completely drenched in sweat. Now I have the most adorable 4 year old kitty I adopted as a kitten, and she completely changed my mind about cats! I really do love both dogs and cats equally. Honestly, in another life I’d probably be a vet or working with wildlife, but for now I just genuinely love taking care of (mostly non-marine) animals and treating them like my own. Please note the following: Drop-offs and pick-ups are accepted between 6:30 AM – 9:00 PM. I can only host up to 1 furry visitor at a time. Please ignore the additional pet rates on my Rover profile. Booking Timeframes Daycare (up to 12 hours): - Daycare includes up to 12 hours of care. - Example: 7AM drop-off → 7PM pick-up - Latest pick-up is 9PM Boarding (24-hour period): - Boarding covers a full 24-hour period from drop-off time. Extended stays beyond the included time may incur additional fees. - Daycare exceeding 12 hours may be charged as extended care - Boarding exceeding 24 hours may incur a late pick-up fee I normally work from home. So I am almost always available to play and spend time with your furry babies! I am also pretty active and love going on a run/taking walks to nearby parks. I live in an apartment with a spacious, gated yard. I also have a very social cat who gets along well with both dogs and cats. I’ve previously pet sat for friends’ dogs and cats, so I’m familiar with managing multiple pets in the home. If needed, I can keep my cat in my room for the duration of your pet’s stay to make sure your pet has a comfortable, low stress environment.
“Our dog Luna is normally very shy around new people but she absolutely loves Aditi! She went above and beyond to take care of her and always sent us the cutest pictures and videos with each visit. She is hands down the best sitter we’ve had. 10/10 highly recommend!”

“Victoria has been so lovely with my cat and always gives the best updates. Have booked her multiple times and super happy with her love and care for my fur baby.”

“Super sweet and lovely with my cat. My cat is normally pretty shy, but played with Megan quickly. She also had some good recommendations as a fellow cat person. Thanks, Megan! I would definitely book again.”

Alex has been taking care of my cat Argo for several years. Argo has started to have kidney disease this year and Alex has been super good at giving Argo meds and taking good care of Argo, even when my house had ant issues. Alex is also super flexible at her schedule and I'm so grateful that Alex could accept my last minute schedule change. Thank you so much!!

I was thrilled to learn that Alicia was available for a 2nd booking to do drop-in visits for my cat. She was very prompt with her responses, followed directions well, and took some great pictures every visit. But most importantly, Alicia took excellent care of my boy, Austin !! He really enjoyed eating, playing, and hanging out during her visits.
Emma was awesome 👏 My little man was super sick and she was able to come last minute to take care of him. She gave him meds and looked after him and by the time I got home from my trip he was totally back to healthy. I will absolutely have her back if she’s available!

Alexandra was great with my two cats! one requires an inhaler and she had no problem wrangling her for treatment. She was very good about giving each cat what they needed. One is very into play time while the other is all about the cuddles! I felt very confident leaving her with them and will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

Once again, Lauren saves the day! I was able to book her services last minute and she did a great job taking care of my two cats. She’s really kind and loving toward the cats, and very thorough with her care and communication. I felt at ease while I was out of town knowing that Lauren was looking after my cats. Highly recommend!

Yuliia was fantastic with my cat while i was out of the country for over a week!!! She came at the time promised, kept him entertained, and made sure he was well cared for while i was away. I will definitely be asking her to care for him again when i am away. She also got some crazy action shots of him which was great to see.

I cannot recommend her highly enough. She took care of my senior cat with such care and attention, sending me pictures at every step of the process, which meant the world to me since my cat needs medication and I worry about her constantly. She was incredibly communicative, always arrived on time, and her updates were thorough and detailed. She even went the extra mile when a grocery delivery arrived—she came by this morning, put everything away in the fridge, and made my life so much easier. This is my first time using a Rover sitter and I’m already planning to book her again. She’s exactly the kind of reliable, thoughtful person you want caring for your pets.

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
