About: My first dog was when I was 5 yrs old and have had 6 since then. I have been a reliable source for my friends to love their dogs like my own and have dog sat, walked, and even taken them camping for a nature break. I chose River to fill the void of not being allowed dogs where I live. They are simply the best! I am currently working from home with weekends off which allows me a very flexible schedule to walk and care for your dogs when needed. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood and have a park within walking distance. Your pets safely is my main concern. I will always treat you fur baby with kindness and care.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs since the age of 7 and have been dog sitting since 16. I now am the proud owner of two lovely cats. I will always make sure to put the needs of your pet above all else. :) Excited to meet you and your pets! I am a recent graduate from LMU who is in the process of applying to jobs, so my schedule is very open to taking care of pets at all times of the day! Walks can be taken at any time of the day/night. I am also happy to hang indoors with your pet to make sure they’re comfy!
“Awesome experience! Matty was so good with our pup. He was also prompt and responsive throughout, which made our lives much easier. We’re very grateful!”

“This was my first time working with Aditi. I have used other dog walkers from Rover before. She was very pleasant to deal with. She seemed to have a very genuine love for our dog and was willing to accept the last minute request when 3 others turned it down. I will put her as my first choice when looking for dog walkers from now on.”

“I booked Melanie last minute and without a meet and greet, and my dog LOVED her. I was nervous at first because my dog can be a little shy with new people, but Melanie made her comfortable and sparked her joy. I 100% trust Melanie with her and am so grateful Melanie was able to step-in for a last minute request. Melanie is professional, on time, and a great communicator. She goes above and beyond to make sure your furry friend(s) are happy and comfortable in her presence. I definitely recommend booking Melanie and will be continuing with her services.”

About: I've taken care of family and friends' dogs all my life. Here for as many walks as your dog needs! Also happy to take as many photos/videos of them on my visits so that you have peace of mind. Your dog is in good hands! I'm typically free Friday-Monday but can make some exceptions so feel free to ask and I will try to be as flexible as possible to fit your needs. Happy to follow any routines you may have with your pets so please feel free to send me any requests you may have or routes you usually walk your dog.

“Marissa has been regularly walking my dog Pikachu for a few weeks now and she has been fantastic. She is very professional, detail-oriented and communicative and she clearly cares about the dogs in her care. She has followed all of my dog’s medical care instructions to a T and has even raised with me concerns as they arose. She’s the best! Thank you Marissa!”

About: I have grown up with animals. I have called 5 dogs and 3 cats my own. Each of them had thier own personalities and particular needs. I have been to many trainings with many dogs and know all breeds are different. Family and friends have entrusted me with thier animals and I can never get enough. My schedule is very open to morning, mid-day and afternoon visits. We can schedule a regular routine or call as you need. Neighborhood walks, ball in the backyard, or trips to the park. I want to make your pets happy! I can visit in the back or front yard of your home. I can feed meals, load treat dispensers, and keep pet area tidy. I have met owners at home offices and taken pets for walks. I am open to the care your particular pet needs.
About: I've had my pets for most of my life. I've owned dogs that are small, medium-sized, and even large! I believe our furry friends need some daily activity and outdoor time in order to live their best lives! I'm available during the week from the morning until the early afternoon so my schedule is quite flexible Monday through Friday. I do not walk on the weekends. I primarily walk dogs and care for cats in their home, I do not have the space to pet sit a dog in my home currently. I make sure to ask my clients how they take care of their pet and use the same approach to make your furry friend feel relaxed.
About: My name is Caroline and I am a dedicated dog and cat lover. Before moving into an apartment from home, I lived with two dogs and three cats that I helped raise and care for for over 10+ years. I am experienced in caring for both dogs and cats and understand each of their individual needs. I have raised both kittens and puppies. I have also spent a lot of time volunteering as a dog walker and caregiver to dogs at the Humane Society. Although I do not have any personal pets in my apartment, I love spending time with animals and I frequently volunteer to take care of friend's pets when they need help including dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I am available to walk, house sit or do drop ins most days of the week!

About: Can I walk your dog ? Hi, My name is Jimmy, I have had pets when I was growing up and have taken care of friends/family dogs for years. My daily routine is walks, feeding, cuddles, play-time, letting them rest when they need, and taking pictures… talking about pictures, I would be more than happy to share with you as much as you need ;) I walk our dog, Molky, 3 times a day, including a long walk in the neighborhood. We have a fenced back yard that is available as much as wanted/needed during the day. I have a friendly 7 years old puppy, Molky. I require that all pups are fully vaccinated, dewormed, before their stay. We know how anxious it can be leaving your pet in the hand of another person, that’s why I would love to meet you and your pet beforehand, to learn more about your pet's likes, dislikes and daily routine to make him/she and you as much comfortable as possible while you’re away. If any question, please ask :) If I'm taking care of your fur baby, he/she will not be alone, and he/she'll always have attention during the stay. Potty breaks every 2-3 hours. As already mentionned I have a fenced back yard, and a little friendly dog, Molky (15 lbs). Beforehand, please let me know about your pup : - If young, if is potty trained. - Pup's vaccines are up to date. -Pup's Breed. - Pup's likes and dislikes. - Pup's daily activities. - Any allergies, diseases. - Restricted diet. - Pup's behavior with other dogs. - Pup's behavior with children and other adults. - Pup's behavior during the walk. If special any requests? Just ask! :)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Culver City
Lauryn was amazing with Julio. She made sure to send me updates and pictures every time she picked him up for a walk, and I felt very comfortable and in the loop which put my mind at ease since this was my first time leaving him in the care of someone outside of Family while I am out of town.

Kimberly is AMAZING! We are beyond grateful to have found her to walk our pup. Not only has she been incredibly reliable, punctual, and communicative, but she is so incredibly kind and thoughtful. Oh, and our pup LOVES her, so that’s important! Highly recommend!!!!

It became obvious within seconds of meeting Puddle that Julia has a way with dogs. Puddle was all smiles when he got back from his walk and then immediately splooted and had a long nap. Julia was communicative, organized, and professional. Puddle can’t wait for his next walk!

I was feeling a little nervous about our first confirmed house sitting with Genki and requested a last minute walk for a kind of “orientation.” He was prompt and very open to my “guidance” - it was really anxiety about leaving my two doggies with someone new. I have a strong and anxious pittie so I wanted to make sure she wouldn’t be too much. We walked together and Genki quickly showed me he knows what he’s doing. I feel a little better about our dogs’ upcomig weekend with Genki and appreciate his kindness and the respectful way he showed up to meet and walk our dogs.

Johnny is phenomenal! Where other walkers take my boy half a mile, he goes above and beyond and walks a similar route that I do — 1.5miles! The pictures are instant serotonin—they detail his care and efforts! Johnny followed instructions, kept in contact. I felt that he really cared about Graham. I feel safe with leaving my baby boy in his care! I enthusiastically recommend Johnny!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
