“We had an amazing experience with Matty and Chelsea! They were flexible and easy to communicate with. Our two high energy dogs were no problem for them!”
“This was my first time working with Aditi. I have used other dog walkers from Rover before. She was very pleasant to deal with. She seemed to have a very genuine love for our dog and was willing to accept the last minute request when 3 others turned it down. I will put her as my first choice when looking for dog walkers from now on.”

“Nick is great! Our puppy is always happy to see him and her mood is so much better at the end of the day because she was able to get a good walk in with Nick while my husband and I are at work. We will continue to book with Nick & Heidi!”

About: Hi! I moved to Culver City about a year ago and have really enjoyed going on walks around the neighborhood. I have taken care of dogs for most of my life whether I am playing with my own puppy or pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I am currently working full-time, however I work from home so I am flexible and can likely accommodate last minute schedules. Generally, I am available before 8:30am and after 5:30pm. I have a very high energy golden doodle at home. This means that walks are full of adventure and require high attention since he wants to say hello to every other dog and person in the neighborhood. Safety for your pets is incredibly important to me and I will treat your pets as I would my own!
“Melanie is great to work with! My anxious pup warmed up to her more quickly than he'd ever taken to anybody before. She clearly has a lot of experience and knowledge of working with dogs of many temperaments and even brought hypoallergenic treats. She's also friendly and easy to communicate with!”

“Destiny did a great job walking our dog! She was super easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to made sure everything was taken care of. Would highly recommend her!”

About: I've grown up with animals my whole life so reading their cues & moods comes naturally to me. I treat every pet as an individual & always meet them where they're at. Having recently said goodbye to my own lil one, spending time w animals right now brings me comfort & a lil extra company would be truly welcome. About: I'm a devoted dog mom who treats every pet like family. One thing that sets me apart is that I can offer either solo walks or walks with my friendly Cockapoo, depending on what your dog enjoys most. Whether your pup loves making canine friends or prefers all the attention to themselves, I'll tailor each visit to their needs. I'm dependable, communicative, and love keeping pet parents updated with plenty of photos and notes after each visit. I work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to incorporate pet care throughout my day. I enjoy getting outside for walks and breaks, so dog walking and drop-in visits are a natural fit for my routine. Because I'm not commuting, I can often accommodate midday walks and check-ins, and I'm available throughout the week to provide reliable, consistent care for your pets. When caring for pets in your home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide walks, potty breaks, fresh water, playtime, and plenty of attention while following all care instructions carefully. For dogs who enjoy extra exercise, walks can include time at the gated dog run in my apartment community, where they can safely run and play off leash (with owner approval). I'll also send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. 🐾

About: I've always taken care of dogs my entire life. From the yellow lab I had until high school to my neighbor's three maltese, I've been trusted with feeding, walking, and bathing them. With the range of sizes I've watched, I'm more than happy to just chill with them or take them on a hike in the mountains (if theyre feeling truly adventurous)! I'm also especially experienced with dogs with separation anxiety (ask me about my cattle dog haha)! I'm currently looking for work, so my schedule is extremely open! Usually mornings or evenings work best for my natural schedule, but I'm very flexible. I've never caged any of the animals I've cared for, save for the few families who need that for their pets. I also usually look around the area in advance to look for any parks or landmarks the dogs may be interested in (and I'm always open to suggestions from the owner)! I want to make sure the pets feel safe, friendly, and comfortable to be their true selves!
About: I have always cats and dogs most of my life. Worked for a dog training co. for several years. Love all breeds big and small. Patience and safety are most important. Currently I'm working part-time, so I have plenty of time to walk your fur baby. I'm also available to sit with pets during the week and on weekends. At this time I am not able to board any pets. I can sit with pets at their home. I have the utmost respect for another persons property and their rules.
“Megan has been so great taking our reactive / energetic lab on walks! We wanted zazu to walk with someone who could help reinforce good behaviors and we are already seeing improvements in her comfortability on the leash. Thank you Megan!”

Hi Carolina, Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Ulises! He was in great hands, and the walks helped him burn off so much energy, which definitely made life easier for us. We’d be happy to have you walk him again anytime! Uli also sends a big thank you. We really appreciated how responsible you were and how you kept us updated throughout the day—it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was doing well. We’re so grateful we could count on you these past few days. You were such a huge help, and we truly appreciate everything you did for Ulises. Thank you again! ❤️

Johnny is phenomenal! Where other walkers take my boy half a mile, he goes above and beyond and walks a similar route that I do — 1.5miles! The pictures are instant serotonin—they detail his care and efforts! Johnny followed instructions, kept in contact. I felt that he really cared about Graham. I feel safe with leaving my baby boy in his care! I enthusiastically recommend Johnny!
Katherine walked Katsu while I was out of town and she was amazing! She sent me lots of updates and photos of my dog which put my mind at ease. Very easy and fast communication! Would highly recommend Katherine!! Definitely planning to book her again even when i’m in town

Colleen is the best! She’s super responsive, easy to schedule and coordinate with. She lets my dog set the pace on walks which is really important and he really loves walking with her more than most walkers. She’s made my life easier over and over again! You’ll be lucky to book her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
