About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember. My last pet, my soul dog Bella, lived to be 18. We traveled the country together and I got the privilege of being her mommy from 8 weeks old to a little over 18. She has changed my life in so many ways and inspired me to help all other animals in need. I’m extremely caring, attentive and loving. I will treat your pet as if it is my own. However, I’m a bit of a spoiler when it comes to animals but I will lead in anyway that you would expect of me. I look forward to connecting with you and more importantly, your fur babies. I’m currently working 4 days a week as an Esthetician but I will always find time for my babies. My favorite time of day is when I get to be at home snuggling my pup and kitty. I always keep a close eye on my pets and keep anything potentially harmful well out of reach. I always pick up on their anxiousness or when they are not feeling well, and will go completely out of my way to make sure they’re ok!
“Todd has been an amazing addition to our daily routine! He is always on time for Buddy’s walk and responsive whenever I message him. He works on Buddy’s training while on the walks which I greatly appreciate. I recommend Todd to anyone looking for someone exceptional and reliable to care for their animals.”

“Great walk with Collin. He picked up our dog from our place and took him on a great scenic walk. Thanks so much for making it easy for us. On time, quick communicator, and Rory loves him!”

“Amy was quick to respond, detail oriented, punctual and caring for todays walk. She was so gracious about me booking a service last minute and very understanding. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I grew up with a dog in the house and have missed having one around ever since, walking is my way of staying connected to that. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from high-drive breeds like Belgian Malinois to small dogs like Chihuahuas, and I adjust my pace and approach to what each dog needs. Whether your pup wants a brisk, structured walk or a relaxed sniff and stroll, I'll treat them like my own. Reliable, on time, and happy to send updates or photos during the walk. I currently do freelance web development so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am free most morning as well evenings. Just let me know what works best for you and we can work things out! While I am unable to house your pup in my apartment, I am very comfortable going to where they are most comfortable, their home. Just let me know what routes they love to go on and I'll make sure they get their familiar sniffs in! I'm also very comfortable driving your pup around if there are any hikes that they might enjoy!
About: I have experience in pet sitting of all ages, puppy’s kittens, teen years and senior years! I also have monitored medication intake, ointments and more. I am currently working full time and commute so I’m available mostly on weekends for house sitting, dog watching and check ins 8:00 pm M/W/F I make sure the pets feel happy and safe at all times. I can tell when they want attention or prefer space and adjust as needed!
“Best on Rover by far and I would trust Kellie with Metro and feel very comfortable and safe for even an extended period of time. Goes the extra mile on walks and cares so much about what she does.”

About: I have been around big dogs my whole life. Grew up with 2 Rottweiler. I’ve always been good with dogs. Sometimes they like me more than their owners. I’ve been raising my own dogs as an adult for the past 5 years and love it. I usually rescuea dog a year on average on the boardwalk but that’s how I ended up keeping a husky. I specialize in skating with your dog or biking. I even have a 4 foot dog trailer for senior dogs to ride in that I’ve got 3 65 pound dogs in. I work weekends at Dogtown Coffee and am a self employed artist. Walking other peoples dog in between walking my dogs is a win win. Depending on the dog I can watch them at my apartment but most likely your place would be better depending on the dog. If it’s at my place we do about 5 walks a day to avoid accidents and feed them in separate rooms. Every morning they are not too tired from the day before we share to Venice Via the bike trail. Thru out the day we walk around the neighborhood usually stopping at Dogtown Coffee. Then Westminster dog park around 5:30 in the summer. Then a cool down period and dinner. Then one last night walk on the beach.

“Kim has been an invaluable resource for our family to help walk our puppy many times throughout the day. Her Rover report card notes and photos of our pup are always super detailed and honest. We could not have found a better caretaker for our puppy!! Thank you Kim!!!!”

I love dogs and have experience fostering and adopting my own dogs. I love to walk around Santa Monics, so I figure why not help someone out and walk their dog(s) at the same time! I currently work from home and having a very flexible schedule so I can take dogs on a walks in the morning, afternoon, or evening. If I were to watch your dog, they would likely be by my side at all times. If I were to board them I can crate them if that is preferred.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Santa Monica
Annalisa is communicative, gives me a really helpful report on Waldo’s leash skills, and has given me many helpful tips of how to make my own walking easier and more structured. You can tell she really cares about the dogs she walks and that’s he’ll take the best care of your pet. Proactively communicative too! Have rebooked multiple times and will continue to do so.

Mallory is amazing! My 4 year old male Poodle liked her immediately and I felt fully comfortable trusting her with him. She has been so responsive in the app, and reliable walking him twice a week for multiple weeks while his normal afternoon play session person has been out of town. I highly recommend her and am very relieved to know she lives close by, on the west side of LA! Will definitely be requesting her again in the future. :)

you can also edit this if you would like Sarah was absolutely amazing with both of my dogs! From the moment she met them, I felt completely comfortable and knew they were in great hands. She was warm, attentive, reliable, and so genuinely caring with them. They both came home happy and tired, which is always the best sign! It can be hard to find someone you truly trust with your dogs, and I’m so happy we found Sarah. I would recommend her without hesitation and will absolutely be using her again!

This was Astro’s first time meeting Jonathan and it was a great experience. He was thoughtful about introducing himself and the dogs with him for the walk (as this was also a combo boarding meet and greet) and was able to get great updates and some photos of their little adventure.

Jill is so awesome! She's extremely responsive over chat, flexible when schedules change, and always sends an update with photos after each walk. It's obvious she is passionate about animals and has so much love for my pup. I know my dog is well taken care of when Jill is there.

Jenny is thoughtful, kind, and incredible with our dog Duke. We ended up needing more last minute coverage than we expected and she was accommodating and flexible to make sure our dog got the love and care he needed when we were away. We cannot recommend her more!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
