About: Hello! My name is Andrew and I am here on Rover to help any and all pet owners out there. As an owner of a Husky, I understand there are times when you need pet help in a crunch. I can work to be flexible in any situation that may arise! I am currently working full-time on the weekdays but I am able to fit any pet care into my daily routine as I am flexible. I am currently living in a 1-bedroom apartment with a balcony in case any pets need fresh air or to bathe in the sun!

About: I am looking to provide dog walking services, along with any pet sitting for either dogs or cats. I had a dog who recently passed away so I have been missing taking care of her. I also have a cat, so I know how cats need care and attention. I work full time but have a lot of flexibility on Fridays and weekends. I am very flexible in the early mornings, evenings, Fridays and weekends. I have a corporate job, but the gaps in my schedule allow for pet care. I have a friendly cat at home who gets along with all dogs. I have been a doting pet parent and will treat your pet like my own.

About: Hi! I'm Tracy. I started walking and pet sitting professionally in the Los Angeles area back in 2008, and loved every minute of it. Now that I have recently moved back to Los Angeles, I am so excited to get to know my new 2 and 4 legged neighbors, and the neighborhoods. Animals have always been drawn to me, and some of my friends/pet owners call me a dog whisperer! There is nothing better than the love and affection our furry friends give us, and nothing I can do but give it right back. I truly believe that dogs are the universe's gift to us humans, and they deserve attention, play, and all the love they can stand! About: I grew up with 2+ dogs in my house since I was 5 years old. Primarily vizslas, but also a few terrier mixes. I love all dogs (an abnormal amount), am a very active person, and miss having my own dog. I’ve had one dog of my own who I trained on my own and with puppy school and was very well behaved. I have done pet sitting and walking in the past and am currently just out of graduate school and looking to fill some time before I start full time work. I’m currently a part time professional cyclists so I have lots of time for dog love. My ex currently has my dog so I’m desperate to have some dog love around as well. I would take our (8lb) dog for 2 beach walks a day, usually around 2-3 miles each. I have a fenced yard myself and my own transportation. I’m happy to accommodate however you best see your pets being cared for. Whether it’s a long walk or just company for the animal

About: I've watched our family, friends, and coworkers dogs a few times and loved it. Right now, I don't have any pets of my own, but would love to watch yours while you are away. My job allows me to work from home so if you don't want your furry loved one to spend hours alone in a stranger's apartment bored in a crate all day, I may be a match! I care immensely about ensuring each pet's comfort and happiness while in my care I work from home so I have more than enough open time to take care of any and all pets that need attention and care I always take care of pets by how the owner wants me to. I never take any liberties with any pets to make sure all owners are comfortable.

About: I’ve had pets around me pretty much my entire life, so caring for animals has always felt completely natural to me. I’m originally from Germany and now live in Los Angeles. I’ve also successfully raised three sons — so patience, responsibility, keeping routines running, and looking after someone who occasionally refuses to listen are definitely not new territory. I’m reliable, active, caring, and very attentive to individual personalities. About: This is the first period of my life where I don’t have a dog of my own, so I’m always excited to get some dog time in! I’ve become the go-to dog sitter for my friends and family, and I truly love every pup like they’re my own. I know being away from their family can sometimes put dogs in a bit of a funk, so I make a point to give them extra love and attention while you’re gone. I’m happy to keep them busy and active if they’re able, give lots of pets and cuddles, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also very flexible with each dog’s needs. I can stick closely to their normal routine, or give them a little “dopamine day” with extra walks, playtime, and fun whatever you and your baby prefer. :) I work remotely so I have tons of time for walks, play time, cuddles, etc. :) When I dog sit, I really make them my focus, so I’m basically around and available to hang out with them most of the day. I’m very respectful of each dog’s routine and their owner’s home. I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave for feeding, walks, medications, crate time, etc. I also always keep an eye on their comfort level and won’t force anything if they seem nervous or unsure. I want them to feel safe and comfortable while you’re gone!

About: Hi! My name is Saraya. I have been taking care of pets since i was 10 years old and have had many pets including both dogs and cats of all sizes and ages throughout my life. I am experienced in caring for elderly pets as well as pets that require strict training. I am the perfect match to care for most any pet and would enjoy sitting your pet or even taking them for a walk and some playtime! I recently graduated college and am taking a gap year before grad school. This gives me plenty of time throughout the day to stay with your pet at home or take them out for a couple of hours. I am mostly available weekdays but would also be willing to pet sit if you are looking to take a weekend vacation. I am very respectful of your space when caring for your pet at your home. I am good at following directions for pet care and can be trusted to leave and enter your home safely.

About: I was a dog mom to big labrador husky. Until recently, we had to say goodbye to our silly beloved pup. I want to continue giving my time and attention to dogs of all sizes on daily walks, check in with your pet at your home or board at mine. I also have a cat, and know how playful they can be as kittens and as adults they like to come to you with mellow energy. I know how special fur babies are to us and how much love they give back. Allow me shower your fur baby with love, playtime and daily walks while you are away! I have experience with dog pulling and how to handle barking at other dogs. I also can drive your dog to another location in my car. I will need your doggie booster or car harness. My mornings are remote working 8am-12pm during the week. I have a deck and large backyard the we can take breaks playing and a doggie door to access for potty breaks. After lunch, we can go on a nice long walk 30-60mins in the neighborhood. I have a fenced backyard and a sliding door for the deck. My parents have a senior cat, two double doors to separate access. I believe in respecting people’s space and privacy. When you need me to pet sit at your place, I will stay in the living room and kindly ask if I can use the restroom if necessary.

About: I am independently insured for pet walking and sitting. Growing up in Tennessee, my family had a running total of 10 cats and 2 dogs. We had kittens, strays, and elderly pets. All of our cats were shorthaired, but my grandmother had a longhaired cat. I briefly took care of another longhaired cat that a friend found in his neighborhood. He couldn’t keep it and knew I had experience with cats, so he called me and I took it in until we found its owner. The dogs I grew up with were very different. We got Hook, our black labrador retriever, from a breeder. He came with a pedigree and everything. Years later, in his old age, a corgi mix showed up at our house. We weren’t able to find her owners and we ended up keeping her. I credit her with keeping Hook alive a little longer. I know how much of a difference our animals can make. I have done petsitting in the client’s home and in my own home with pets, often with multiple animals at one time. I even kept three guinea pigs for about a week in December 2023. In Tennessee, I worked as a volunteer at a local animal shelter, reading to cats and dogs through a program designed to help socialize the animals. I am unable to pet sit animals in my current apartment, and would treat it as a privilege to be let in your home in any capacity. My current job is a flexible, part time, remote job that I can do from anywhere. This leaves me with a lot of availability for your pet! I am patient with animals and I never take my emotions out on them. There are times where I have had to be firm with animals, of course, (can you imagine keeping 6 cats off the counters? Or keeping our corgi mix from nipping at our black lab while she tried to herd him outside?), but I’ve never been mean or lost my temper with an animal, and our corgi was a Mess™. I can clean traditional litterboxes and have familiarity with some higher-tech ones. I understand body language cues from both dogs and cats. As the daughter of a former landlord, I understand the frustration that comes with letting someone in your home just for them to take advantage of you. Therefore, you can be certain I will maintain the utmost respect for your belongings, your home, and your pet.
