Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Wisconsin surrounded by pets, animals, and farms, and have more than 20 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. My family has always had pets, and I was helping with their care practically as soon as I could walk! I have experience with dogs of every size, from tiny breeds to gentle giants, and at every stage of life, from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. I have an especially soft spot for older animals and understand the extra patience, attention, and gentleness they sometimes need. I’m also comfortable giving oral medications, applying routine flea and tick treatments, and checking for and removing ticks. And I’m definitely not just a dog person! I’ve grown up around and cared for cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, and other small animals, and I’m very comfortable in homes with multiple kinds of pets. Most importantly, I know pets are family. I also know how much trust it takes to leave them and your home in someone else’s care. Whether your pet needs a long walk and plenty of playtime, a quiet companion to keep them company, or just someone patient enough to let a senior pup take their sweet time, I’ll care for them with the same attention and affection I’d want for my own.
