About: I’ve spent years around dogs of all sizes and personalities—energetic puppies, mellow seniors, and everything in between. Whether that’s long walks, runs, play sessions, or just quiet company, I adjust to each dog’s unique needs and energy level. I’m comfortable with basic training reinforcement, giving medications, and keeping a consistent routine so your pet feels secure while you’re away. Because I’m active myself, I love giving dogs plenty of exercise—whether that’s neighborhood walks or longer outdoor adventures. At the same time, I know when a pet just needs patience, calm, and extra TLC. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. Because I work remotely, I'm home throughout the day and available for pet care at virtually any time. Whether it's midday walks, feeding schedules, or just keeping a furry friend company, I can easily weave it into my routine without any disruption. Pets in my care are never left alone for long — I'm always just a room away! When caring for pets, safety and comfort always come first. In your home, I make sure to stick to your pet’s routine so they feel secure—whether that means feeding schedules, walks, or bedtime rituals. I’m attentive to details like locking doors, checking gates, and making sure your pet has water, food, and a cozy spot to relax. I believe trust comes from consistency, so I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether it’s playtime, exercise, or quiet companionship, I create an environment where your pet feels safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away.
About: I have been around dogs my entire life and currently have my own little Frenchie. I have had experience with all kinds of dogs growing up throughout my life and I enjoy spending time with them. I am attentive, and caring and would love to take your dog on a walk. Currently I am available all day everyday Monday through Friday to walk dogs. Afternoons are preferred but I can do mornings and evening walks as well. I am very careful and attentive with pets and can follow instructions well. I have training experience with my own dog that will come in handy when taking care of yours!
“Tanner was great. Took our booking same day and helped us out so Cody didn't have to spend too much time crated while we were out for the day. Easy to work with and great communication. Would definitely use again.”

About: I had my own dog as a teenager and took care of him myself. I’ve had multiple roommates with dogs whom I would help caring for during travel or busy work schedules. I trained my own dog and helped roommates and friends train their puppies. I’ve regularly dog sit for many friends over the years. I mostly make my own work schedule. I have an active lifestyle and enjoy walking everyday. I love being outside, live by the beach and know where all the parks are in every neighborhood I can have a pet in my home for a short visit but sitting for more than two days isnt admissible under my lease agreement. Otherwise I’d probably have my own dog.
“Penelope is amazing! She takes great care of our dog, always makes sure he has everything he needs when she leaves, and takes him on nice long walks. She’s been super flexible with scheduling and sends great pictures too!”

“Tierney is amazing! She walked our pup Cash for two days and was so great about sending us updates. She is an absolute sweetheart and we will definitely use her again. Thanks so much! :)”

“Annalisa is so kind and accommodating when it comes to helping take care of my big St. Bernard. Really appreciate how quickly they have bonded—makes me feel at ease when I can’t be home early enough to walk the dog. Annalisa keeps me well informed, and she goes above and beyond with checking on the water bowl, taking in packages, etc. Appreciate her and thrilled to know her!”

“Andrew did a great job handling my high energy dog and took her for a long walk with his dog. He communicated well with us during the day and we are happy to have a sweet neighbor that we can rely on for last minute walks when my partner and I have long work days.”

“Thrilled to have found Karolina! She is a true professional yet has a huge heart. Responsible, caring, on top of medications, even discovered that our dog had a UTI. She's a gem.”

She also hangs out in an enclosed playpen and is fine to be seperated if need be. I have a clean, safe, & spacious home with a small fenced yard for safe outdoor time. I stick closely to your dog’s schedule and make sure they feel comfortable and at home.
“Ross was great. He took both the dogs on two long walks every day. They thoroughly enjoyed having him take them. He was also very communicative and kept us up-to-date on what was going on with them during the day. Highly recommend him.”

Eager to continue providing a supportive hand to pet parents, I look forward to ensuring yours receives the best care possible. My promise: to take care of your pet like I would take care of my own. I am currently working remotely with a flexible schedule that allows me to provide constant care and attention to any and all of your dog's needs. About: I love caring for animals! I've had my dog for 12 years since I found him as a stray, and I have experience working at animal shelters as well as working as an assistant to a concierge vet. I've worked at multiple animal welfare nonprofits and I’ve been successfully pet sitting for years; you can trust your family members are in good hands! I love to walk and play with dogs, take them to the beach, and love playing with cats (+ walk them if they’re into harnesses!) I’ll take good care of all their needs while you're gone, so you can rest easy! I have experience administering medication (injections for dogs + oral meds for dogs&cats). I’m comfortable with animals who are less socialized or don't like other dogs, animals, children, skateboards, etc. You won't need to worry about your pet's safety or comfort with me, just tell me what they need :) I work remotely and I can be super flexible with timing. FYI, I don’t bring my dog with me, unless it’s a house sit and you’ve specifically told me your animals are super friendly and wouldn’t mind - otherwise I leave my pup at my house! I have a remote part-time job with a team in different time zones, making my schedule super flexible. Let me know what your pet’s needs are and I’m sure I can accommodate! Unless you request otherwise, I let animals on the furniture and bed. I walk dogs every few hours depending on energy level and age. I’m happy to accommodate special requests if you communicate them to me in the booking or meet and greet!
“Jayne is the best. I needed to get a dog walker after an injury to walk my dog 2x/day for a few months, and could not be more thankful that we found Jayne. She is so kind and communicative and my dog quickly became tuned in to his walk schedule and would get so excited to see her right before she’d arrive. Book Jayne for all of your pup needs! She is definitely our go to from here on out.”

“Hannah was an amazing dog walker for my 3.5 month old Yorkie Winnie! Hannah was also my first Rover and I was so happy to have chosen her! She was on time, walked/ran Winnie for the full hour, and my puppy came back to me so happy and exhausted. Hannah told me that despite Winnie being super fearless, she made sure she didn't get dangerously close to any huge dogs:) Definitely will be calling you again Hannah, thank you so much!!!!”

you can also edit this if you would like Sarah was absolutely amazing with both of my dogs! From the moment she met them, I felt completely comfortable and knew they were in great hands. She was warm, attentive, reliable, and so genuinely caring with them. They both came home happy and tired, which is always the best sign! It can be hard to find someone you truly trust with your dogs, and I’m so happy we found Sarah. I would recommend her without hesitation and will absolutely be using her again!

This was Astro’s first time meeting Jonathan and it was a great experience. He was thoughtful about introducing himself and the dogs with him for the walk (as this was also a combo boarding meet and greet) and was able to get great updates and some photos of their little adventure.

Jill is so awesome! She's extremely responsive over chat, flexible when schedules change, and always sends an update with photos after each walk. It's obvious she is passionate about animals and has so much love for my pup. I know my dog is well taken care of when Jill is there.

Jenny is thoughtful, kind, and incredible with our dog Duke. We ended up needing more last minute coverage than we expected and she was accommodating and flexible to make sure our dog got the love and care he needed when we were away. We cannot recommend her more!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
