About: I’m a local, highly reliable drop-in sitter with a flexible schedule and a calm, practical approach to pet care. I work from home and spend most of my time in the neighborhood, which means I’m consistently nearby and able to respond quickly if plans change. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and sizes, including puppies and senior pets, and I have experience administering medications and following specific care routines. I stay level-headed in stressful situations and can safely transport pets to the vet in an emergency if needed. I’m an early riser and available for evenings, and I can walk, bike, or drive depending on what’s best for your pet and your schedule. I’ve cared for animals my whole life — from household pets to larger animals on farms — and I bring that common-sense experience into every visit. My goal is simple: show up on time, follow instructions carefully, and keep your pet calm, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule and spend most of my time in the neighborhood, which makes drop-ins easy to accommodate throughout the day. I’m an early riser and available for morning visits, mid-day check-ins, and evenings. Because I stay local, I’m consistent and dependable with timing, and I can adjust if something unexpected comes up. I keep my bookings intentionally manageable so I can give each pet focused, attentive care and clear communication for their humans. For drop-in care, my focus is on maintaining your pet’s normal routine and environment while keeping safety and comfort front and center. I carefully follow all instructions, respect your home, and keep communication clear and consistent. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, feeding routines, medications, and any special notes you provide. I move calmly and deliberately in the home, watch for potential hazards, and make sure pets are secure before leaving. I’m especially mindful of shy, senior, or easily stressed animals and avoid forcing interaction. I stay observant for changes in behavior, appetite, or litter habits and will reach out promptly if anything seems off. In the event of an emergency, I’m comfortable transporting a pet to the vet and contacting you immediately. Above all, I aim to create a low-stress, predictable experience — for your pet and for you — so you can feel confident they’re in capable, trustworthy hands.

I work from home so I am home and able to be attentive to your pets. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood where I can walk throughout the day. Lots of space and live in a nice quiet neighborhood. “Jayne is the best. I needed to get a dog walker after an injury to walk my dog 2x/day for a few months, and could not be more thankful that we found Jayne. She is so kind and communicative and my dog quickly became tuned in to his walk schedule and would get so excited to see her right before she’d arrive. Book Jayne for all of your pup needs! She is definitely our go to from here on out.”

About: I’ve spent 20+ years caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I treat every pet like family and always aim to provide safe, attentive, personalized care. I’m experienced with everything from energetic puppies and kittens who need structure and consistency to senior pets who need patience, comfort, and extra support. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m respectful of your space, follow instructions closely, and communicate clearly with regular updates and photos. If your pet is staying in my home, they’ll have a calm, comfortable environment with outdoor access, plus lots of supervision and companionship since I work from home with a flexible schedule.
About: I've been a dog walker, dog lover, dog groomer, dog kisser, dog snuggler, dog hugger, dog teacher and dog admirer since the day I was born. Growing up, my family always had a dog around the house. We had Mandy Dog (a German Shorthaired Pointer), Winnie (fluffy-sunshine-mix-a-doodle) and Paris (Australian Shepherd/Pitbull mix) at various stages of my youth. When I was 12, I raised my first puppy (a lil fluffy Golden named Lucy) and I taught her everything from sit to play dead. In high school I was a dog bather for a local dog groomer. From this job I learned about different breed personalities, needs and care. Currently, I dogsit for co-workers and the happiness from those visits has inspired me to sign up for Rover. I'd love to watch your doggo. I'm very flexible on timing and availability. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I can do same-day visits on the west side. Whatever you and your pet need I will try to accommodate. My front yard is enclosed and safe for sniffing and hanging out but I will be walking your pets all around my area (avoiding the canals) and playing with them on the beach (unless you don't want this/they don't enjoy that).
“Andrew did a great job handling my high energy dog and took her for a long walk with his dog. He communicated well with us during the day and we are happy to have a sweet neighbor that we can rely on for last minute walks when my partner and I have long work days.”

About: Hello! My name is Gracie. I've been catsitting since I was 16 years old and dogsitting for 5. I have 4 precious babies at home (2 dogs and 2 cats) who are my world. I can't imagine life without my animals. Since one of our pups is a senior dog, I am especially capable of older and medically complex animals. I am a freelance seamstress who can build my schedule around my (and your!) pets. I am sometimes required to go to TV and film sets to be a tailor, but I am otherwise working from my home studio. I am physically capable and comfortable with handling most sized animals. Since I've been around dogs and cats my entire life, I am confidant when around them, ensuring your home and my home are safe.
About: I’m new to Rover but have tons of experience with dogs! And it’s not just me - my wife and I will both be taking care of your pup, so they’ll get LOTS of attention. I have more than 15 years of experience dog-sitting and walking and I will make sure your pup has a fun and safe time. I work from home so I’m able to provide constant attention to the dogs. I also have a fenced yard, walkable neighborhood, and am right on the beach! I have a 9 year old Collie Mix who's great with other dogs and loves company. I can be as active or as chill as your dog prefers. I'm happy to take your dog on any type of walk - slow walks around the neighborhood, jogs around the park, or a nice run to tire them out. If they prefer to just relax, I can watch after them at my place and provide them with dog toys and treats. On top of my 15+ years sitting, I’ve raised my own pup for 9 years, and I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I work from home and have a dog of my own who gets a lot of exercise and attention. I keep my calendar updated but feel free to reach out if it doesn’t fit your needs exactly because I’m flexible. My house has plenty of spaces for the pups to hangout. I have a safe, fenced yard and a grass rooftop terrace. My dog loves to play but also is chill around the house so he can get along with other dogs easily.

“Annalisa is so kind and accommodating when it comes to helping take care of my big St. Bernard. Really appreciate how quickly they have bonded—makes me feel at ease when I can’t be home early enough to walk the dog. Annalisa keeps me well informed, and she goes above and beyond with checking on the water bowl, taking in packages, etc. Appreciate her and thrilled to know her!”

Keitel has helped us out a couple of times last minute lately and Arlo loves him! I give what could be considered a neurotic amount of detail when it comes to care/instructions for Arlo and he was very welcoming and kind about everything. He sent plenty of photo updates and a detailed messages of how everything went! Would definitely recommend :)

Corrina is so sweet with my dog Casper! She gives me great advice for care for her. She takes her on amazing walks adventures, and always document with a cute picture. After I was in a jam she picked up dog walking for my dog. And then I hired her for dog sitting when I went out of town! I will continue to work with Corrina as long as she likes. I feel at ease with my dog in her tender care. Thank you so much Corrina!🫶🏻💖

Griffin and Tuck bonded so well - which isn’t always the case for Tuck (he’s always friendly, but gets anxious leaving me), so I was immediately impressed! When tuck got back to me, he was elated, but tired. Griffin played a ton of fetch with Tuck, too, something I specially requested because it’s Tuck’s favorite thing! My dog is happy, a healthy level of tired, and satisfied :) excited to have Tuck and Griffin play together again!!

Kate has been absolutely wonderful with my 18-year-old dog, Dixie. Finding someone I trust with her at this stage of life is incredibly important, and Kate has exceeded every expectation. She is always on time, communicative, and very dependable. More importantly, she is incredibly gentle, patient, and attentive with Dixie, who needs extra care due to her age. Kate understands how to navigate stairs carefully, adjusts the pace of walks to Dixie’s needs, and makes sure she is comfortable every step of the way. Dixie absolutely loves her — and that says everything. Beyond being responsible and professional, Kate is genuinely kind and loving with Dixie. I always feel completely comfortable knowing Dixie is in her care. I highly recommend Kate. She is thoughtful, reliable, and truly exceptional.

Janine is an absolute pro, great with the pups (even our energetic demon child), and has been extremely reliable with timing, walk updates, and with having access to our home. I appreciate that she includes timely photo updates, tracks when the pups went potty on their daily walk, and reaches out with more info / questions as needed. Highly recommend Janine for pup walking! 🐶
