Dog Walking Venice

About: I have a lot of personal experience with dogs. When I lived in Spain, I had three dogs: two German Shepherds and one Maltese, so I grew up taking care of dogs with very different personalities, sizes, and needs. Since moving here, I have also been helping take care of my boss’s dog and my neighbor’s dog, so I am very comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and giving them lots of attention and love. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and would treat any dog in my care as if they were part of my family. I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and attention during the day. My goal is to enjoy caring for a dog, since I’m not currently able to adopt one of our own. I live in a dog-friendly home near the beach, which makes it perfect for daily walks and outdoor time. I’m very responsible, caring, and attentive, and i would make sure any dog staying with us feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I would follow the owner’s routine carefully and treat their dog like part of our family.

About: I’ve had pets around me pretty much my entire life, so caring for animals has always felt completely natural to me. I’m originally from Germany and now live in Los Angeles. I’ve also successfully raised three sons — so patience, responsibility, keeping routines running, and looking after someone who occasionally refuses to listen are definitely not new territory. I’m reliable, active, caring, and very attentive to individual personalities. Every pet has their own routines, boundaries, quirks, and very strong opinions about how things should be done — and I’m happy to adapt to them. My goal is simple: while you’re away, your pet gets a new second-favorite human — because I know better than to compete for first place. 🐾 I’m an author and work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m around throughout the day. I live directly by the beach, which makes regular walks and outdoor time an easy part of my routine. Your pet won’t just be squeezed into my schedule — I have the flexibility to adapt my day around their needs. I treat every pet and every home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I follow your pet’s routines, feeding schedules, walking habits, boundaries, and any special instructions closely. I pay attention to their body language and never force interaction. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for — while keeping you updated so you can relax, too.

About: I grew up with 2+ dogs in my house since I was 5 years old. Primarily vizslas, but also a few terrier mixes. I love all dogs (an abnormal amount), am a very active person, and miss having my own dog. I’ve had one dog of my own who I trained on my own and with puppy school and was very well behaved. I have done pet sitting and walking in the past and am currently just out of graduate school and looking to fill some time before I start full time work. I’m currently a part time professional cyclists so I have lots of time for dog love. My ex currently has my dog so I’m desperate to have some dog love around as well. I would take our (8lb) dog for 2 beach walks a day, usually around 2-3 miles each. I have a fenced yard myself and my own transportation. I’m happy to accommodate however you best see your pets being cared for. Whether it’s a long walk or just company for the animal

About: This is the first period of my life where I don’t have a dog of my own, so I’m always excited to get some dog time in! I’ve become the go-to dog sitter for my friends and family, and I truly love every pup like they’re my own. I know being away from their family can sometimes put dogs in a bit of a funk, so I make a point to give them extra love and attention while you’re gone. I’m happy to keep them busy and active if they’re able, give lots of pets and cuddles, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also very flexible with each dog’s needs. I can stick closely to their normal routine, or give them a little “dopamine day” with extra walks, playtime, and fun whatever you and your baby prefer. :) I work remotely so I have tons of time for walks, play time, cuddles, etc. :) When I dog sit, I really make them my focus, so I’m basically around and available to hang out with them most of the day. I’m very respectful of each dog’s routine and their owner’s home. I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave for feeding, walks, medications, crate time, etc. I also always keep an eye on their comfort level and won’t force anything if they seem nervous or unsure. I want them to feel safe and comfortable while you’re gone!

About: I grew up with cats but have taken care of numerous dogs throughout my life. I have experience with all sizes and temperaments, including seniors, special diets, anxiety-prone pups and routine-focused households. During the week I'm usually working in an Art Gallery in Inglewood where dogs are allowed. Working remotely is also possible. On the weekends im working in Retail on Abbot Kinney. I would love to discuss the schedule with you. Currently I'm house and pet sitting only. My apartment doesn't allow pets but I have no problem with moving into your home to make it as comfortable as possible for your fur-baby. I don't have a car, so it should be close to Venice Beach, walkable preferred.
