About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. From growing up with family pets to helping neighbors with theirs, I’ve cared for pups of all breeds, personalities, and sizes and loved every one of them. Whether it’s a playful Great Dane or a high-energy Husky, I focus on understanding each dog’s unique needs and matching their energy so they feel happy and cared for while you’re away. Since I enjoy running and hiking during the week, I’d be glad to bring your dog along for some exercise (with your approval, of course). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see their adventures and smiles. Because I work from home, I’m able to give your pet lots of attention and easily adjust to their routine, including administering medications if needed. Their safety is always my top priority: I double-check leashes and harnesses before heading out, and my gated apartment community provides an extra layer of security for even the most curious pups. One quick note: I kindly ask that drop-offs and pick-ups not be scheduled late at night. As someone who works from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and check-ins. Since I don’t have pets of my own, I love being able to dedicate that time and energy to caring for yours, it’s a rewarding part of my day that I truly look forward to. I live in a small apartment, but I make sure pets feel comfortable and loved while they’re with me. I’m happy to take your pet out for regular walks to get fresh air and exercise, or stay in and give them plenty of cuddles and attention. I always follow your care instructions closely to make sure they feel at home, whether I’m caring for them in my space or yours.

About: I grew up taking care of pets! My childhood dog Olivier was an unusual mix; he was an eye-catching, mutant-sized Dachshund who got a lot of attention walking down the street, and we had a couple of independent-minded kitties. My family still has multiple dogs and cats. I absolutely adore dogs and feel strongly about tuning in to who they are - if they want to play, it's on! If it's a shy guy or gal, I respect their space if and until they feel more comfortable. I facilitate healing workshops and I'm an artist with a variable schedule that I keep up-to-date on my Rover calendar. I'm currently living in a building that doesn't allow dogs and I love cats but am super allergic. So daily pet care for me is making friends with and greeting my doggy neighbors. When I've had pets or boarded them previously with Rover, I always make sure to find out the basics of their personality from you, their favorite human. They deserve the same consideration we give people! Currently only offering walks, not boarding.

About: A dog owner for over 30 years. Lived on a farm in the UK with my young family. We had horses, Jack Russells, black Labradors, rabbits and Guinea pigs. Lived in LA for 15 years, brought the dogs from the UK so have an understanding of transporting dogs on planes. Currently own 2 small dogs, one is now over 15 years old, so I have experience in caring for the older dog. Knowledge in administering medication. An empty nester with time on my hands. Flexible schedule. Can walk throughout the day. Have my own transport so can pop to your home to simply check on your dog or administer medication. No job too small. Currently only able to accept small dogs. I have my own dogs at home so currently don’t offer boarding. Your pup can travel in my car if you want me to take them to the vet or a walk in a park.

About: Your dog will be treated like family here. Hi, I’m Julie 👋 I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, with family roots in Montreal (yes, I speak French too). I’ve lived in Los Angeles for the past five years, where I work as a Creative Director and Social Media Manager for gyms and fitness creators across LA. One of the biggest perks of my job is flexibility. I create my own schedule, work mostly from home, and live a very active lifestyle. I walk a lot. 10,000 steps a day is normal for me. Adding a dog to my routine fits naturally into my day, not as an afterthought. I’m also walking distance to Runyon Canyon, which is perfect for longer walks, extra stimulation, and getting energy out safely. I’ve never known life without a dog. Growing up, the longest our home ever went without one was maybe two months. Dogs have always been family to me, not pets, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. After losing my family dog recently, I’m still grieving and not quite ready to bring a new dog home of my own. Caring for other people’s dogs feels like the right way to fill that space right now. It gives me companionship, purpose, and a lot of joy, and it lets your dog get genuinely attentive, loving care while you’re away. My Dog Our most recent family dog, Codie, was a 25-pound Australian Shepherd–Poodle mix who passed away on November 26, 2025. I carried Codie home in my arms in 2012, and we were inseparable ever since. He sat at the dinner table with us in his own chair, never stealing food, just wanting to be included in the conversation. During the pandemic, he stayed with me for four months so I wouldn’t be alone. Although I didn’t live with him full-time in his later years, I spent weeks at a time with my parents in the country, which meant lots of daily walks, hikes, parks, and quality time together. Codie wasn’t formally trained, but my brother and I taught him sit, stay, down, and even “bang” (play dead). He was still doing his tricks right up until his last days. He lived a full, happy life and made it to 13.5 years old. Loving and caring for him shaped how I care for every dog I meet. My Experience I’ve been caring for dogs outside of my own for years. I raised my former roommate’s mini Dachshund for two full years, handling potty training, leash training, and daily care while my roommate worked full-time. I’ve also cared for many dogs for friends, family, and referrals, for weekends, extended stays, and house sitting. About: Dogs are our family 💛 and I would love nothing more than to help you care for yours! I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have over 15 years of experience with raising young puppies, fostering and caring for senior dogs. For 16 years, I helped love and care for our family dog, Gucci, who passed (and who I miss very much!). Therefore, I am very patient and comfortable with tending to senior/special needs dogs. Most recently, I have been helping my brother and my grandpa raise their new puppies by assisting with tons of cuddles, playtime and training! 🐾 I currently work from home full-time as a Business Consultant for EY, so my schedule is flexible for day-time walking, playtime and day or night-time sitting! About: What sets me apart is consistency and awareness. I don’t rush walks, I pay close attention to leash handling, surroundings, and each dog’s comfort level, and I adjust the walk to the dog — not the other way around. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, or just likes a steady pace, I make sure they feel safe and cared for every time. I am currently just going to UCLA extension part time on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Otherwise I am free most of the weekdays and weekends. Your home and pet’s safety are my top priorities. I follow all instructions carefully, respect your space, maintain cleanliness, secure doors and gates, and provide regular updates for peace of mind.

About: I love ALL dogs, but ever since I got my first frenchie 15 years ago, they became my true loves. I’ve hosted French Bulldog meetups and events in LA for years, created a dog-friendly travel blog, and connected with many amazing dog parents. I truly understand how hard it is to find someone who understands the breed’s unique needs, including breathing considerations, temperature sensitivity, and the importance of being gentle with their backs and joints. Although my own Frenchies have passed, being around the cuteness, quirks, and presence of French Bulldogs is something I genuinely love and I would be honored to give your Frenchie the same thoughtful, attentive care.
