“Kay does a great job and the boys are very happy and content after she comes by. She is very friendly and will definitely be using her weekly for when I’m working at the office and need a helping hand!”

“Alex started walking my Pomeranian in the afternoons after I returned to a hybrid work schedule and she is amazing!! I can tell Sammy enjoys her time outside with Alex midday and I can fully trust Alex with her while I’m at work or away.”

“Thanks for meeting up! Colleen was kind and gentle with my nervous pup, and very understanding when she was a little mouthy and fearful at the start. By then end, Frankie was kissing her hands! Thanks!”

About: I’ve grown up with a Golden Retriever my entire life, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve also helped friends and family with their pets—whether that’s walking, feeding, or watching them while they’re away. I’m someone they can rely on whenever they need a trustworthy and caring sitter. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re gone. My schedule is currently very flexible, which makes pet care a natural part of my daily routine. Since I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I truly enjoy caring for animals and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, whether in my home or a client’s home, and I always provide attention, patience, and respect for each pet’s needs.

About: Ever since my sister adopted her angel dog in college, I have been vying to go anywhere and do anything to hang w her. Ive never met a fur baby I didn’t love. I have quite a bit of experience in elder dog care and maintaining medication and diet. I’m also good at keeping up with training and other behavioral habits. I am new to Los Angeles, but not new to animal care. I work as a freelancer, so I have plenty of day time to offer in helping relieve your pup and stretch their legs. Always happy giving affection or putting them to work, depending on their needs. I’m not allowed to take pets into my home at the moment, but happy to spend time or overnight at someone else’s in helping an animal.
“Alienor was great! I needed a dog walker fast after I sustained a back injury. She responded to my inquiry quickly. The dogs were comfortable with her and happy when they returned for their walk. She was there when I needed someone. Thanks so much! ❤️”

About: I have 2 dogs of my own. One that is 14 and I've had since she was 6 weeks old, and a playful 3 year old I've had for the last 2 years. I've also lived in homes with dogs and cats living under the same roof. No matter what type, size or age of your furry loved one, I'm confident I can give them the care and safety that you would give them. I work as a freelance video editor mostly from home so I am very flexible in terms of when I can take care of your pets. Safety and security is the most important thing for me when it comes to pets. I have pets of my own and I know how stressful it can be to trust someone else with their care. You can count on me to be calm, competent and capable in any situation, no matter if it's a standard day or an emergency.
“Thank you for the last minute response! I really needed to get my girl out for a walk and Yuree was kind enough to take the late booking. My dog had a lot of fun as I could see her in the photos that Yuree sent. Will definitely be booking her again.”

“Lee has been fabulous with Willie! I was nervous to leave Willie home for the first time while I went to work as I am gone for a very long day. Lee sent me an update on how the walk went and when I come home Willie is calm and happy and there are no accidents in the house. Lee has been very professional and takes good care of Willie on his walks and we look forward to having him numerous days a week on a regular basis. Thank you Lee! :)”

“Kimberly has been great with Milo. She occasionally watches him when my primary sitter isn’t available. She sends lots of photos and updates! Would recommend her to anyone who wants a quality sweet sitter.”

“Khadejhia has been walking my new puppy when I work away from home. She has been great. She's on time, responsible, genuinely cares about my pet, enjoys animals, and is all around reliable. So great to have her helping me taking care of a very active new puppy!”

“Jack is such a gentle and loving soul. My dogs adore him! Even my 14 year old pup, who prefers to sleep all day, gets energized and excited to go on outings when Jack comes around!”

“Cristhian did an excellent job walking my high energy, high drive, rambunctious 7 month old, sometimes fussy, bully/husky/pit puppy--not an easy task for even an experienced handler.”

“Diego was great! He established a relationship with my dog right away and she looked forward to her walks! He was conscientious and reliable and I recommend him very highly.”

About: I’ve taken care my animals and others since I was 11. I had a dog and cat (Zeus and Blackula) that I had to recently give away after moving to California from Utah. I have experience taking care of family and friends pets like, dogs, cats, and hamsters so I understand the responsibilities of loving and caring for pets like I did my own. So hit me up if you need a reliable sitter for your animals. I’m currently unemployed so my availability is every day/time of the week except Sunday mornings. I’m also able to do late and overnights as well. For pet care, I provide many services such as walking, feeding, playing, and/or just chilling with your pet, however; I am only able to do in-client home service due to apartment not allowing pets.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hollywood
Anika was amazing with Lola! She walked Lola in the morning and at night for us. I was a bit worried since Lola didn’t know her and it was their first time meeting, but Anika brought her experience and skills working with dogs. Lola went with her without any issues, and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend Anika!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
