About: Hi! I’M Micah, a doting dog dad to a 11-year-old Aussie Shepherd Mix, Wyatt. I’ve had dogs since I was a teen and have cared for other people’s dogs as well. I understand the importance of tailored care, structure, patience, safety, and fun. I have experience with dogs from puppies to senior care, including daily walks, feeding routines, supplements, grooming, and enrichment. I treat every dog like my own and prioritize communication with parents to make sure we are all comfortable! I work from home full time! With this I’m able to care for any dogs with special needs, regardless of how much attention or individualized care they may need. Pets in my home are treated as my own. They are in the same room with me, relaxing, playing, or while we eat. They can sleep on their bed, mine, the couch etc. I welcome them to be as comfortable as possible. In your home, I am a guest providing a service and maintain their existing routines and follow pet parent guidelines.
About: I’ve been a pet lover for as long as I can remember, and I know a thing or two about these furry friends. I’ve also taken on the role of a pet sitter, making sure your pets are well-fed, loved, and taken care of while you’re away. What makes me different is that I’m bilingual, with fluent Spanish. I believe that effective communication is the key to providing top-notch pet care, and I think it’s important for both the pets and their owners to feel comfortable and at ease. With my passion for animals, hands-on experience, and language skills, I’m committed to providing personalized pet care services that will make your pets feel happy and safe in my care. I currently work full time for Apple. I still have lots of time to spend with your fur babies. Sunrise and Sunset hikes are my favorites. I am vey tech savvy and patient. I can handle any stressful situation in a calming soothing manner. Which is needed for peace of mind.
“Lisa is the best! She is super communicative and patient with our senior pup. She goes above and beyond in making sure Wiley has what she needs and that we’re in the loop with how she’s doing. Thank you thank you Lisa!!”

“My dog loves Angela and jumped into her arms during the first meet. She not only walked Alfred but also gave him a treat and refilled his water bowl without me asking. She is friendly and kind and goes the extra mile. Thanks Angela!!”

“Another great dog walking experience with Ilana! She takes great care of my pup, Larry, and the photos she takes of her visits are all keepers! Definitely recommend!”

“Khadejhia is so wonderful with my puppy! She is patient and kind and takes the time to do training and help her be a good pup. My dog is obsessed with her too! She’s always on time and I 100% trust her with my dog. 10/10”

“Jack was not only reliable and knowledgeable, he was also very supportive as I'm a first time dog owner. He's a great dog walker as he was dependable and flexible and sent photo updates and was very communicative. Beyond that he was also one of the nicest and most genuine person I've met. Definitely a great experience!”

About: I am an actress that has lots of free time right now while things are slow to take care of your pet! I am doing this as a side hobby which is great because I am a huge dog lover and think that I can provide a great amount of love to your pet. I have grown up with small dogs and I have a one 7 year old and one 5 year old bichon/ shih tzu that get along with other dogs really well. I would prefer to keep dogs that also are known for getting along well with others. I am available to meet before hand to get to know you and your pet! I look forward to meeting and getting to know you and your pet in the near future! I am currently not working so I have lots of free time to spend lots of time with your pet and mine as well! They will have plenty of time to play and go outside. Dogs have free range in my apartment and we will go outside whenever they need! I don’t have much going on so I have plenty of time for that.
“Cynthia has been so wonderful with Reesy, very kind and communicative! I know Reesy loves their walks and always has a great time. Takes a lot of stress off during busy work days ☺️”

About: I’m clairvoyant and can intuitively speak to animals. I have years of experience walking and boarding dogs and cats! I also do house sitting. I love animals so much and I’m so excited to meet yours! I’m dedicating most of my time to pet care! I have a safe and pet friendly vehicle! The pooch wagon. I’m available during the week, and some weekends I have a safe apartment with a park near by. I have my own very shy doggy that does well with other animals. In terms of the clients home: Respectful of any house rules!
About: Hello, My name is Evian, I’m fun loving and personable. I have owned a few dogs throughout my life. My first dog was a puppy when I was six but it got sick and passed away. I got few more dogs after that. I recently owned a dog that I would take on walks and take to the dog park feed, bath etc. I would also help my friend walk her dogs and we would take my dog and her dogs all to the dog park and I would play with them and sometimes feed them. Her dogs bonded with me very quickly because they trust me and I always give them love and attention just like my own. My most recent dog was a family dog but I would take care of it mostly because I love dogs so much so I just took more of the responsibility. I pretty much work part time at a school and so I have availability in the afternoons and I have open availability on the weekends. I would treat clients’ dogs like my own. Attending to their needs, giving them attention, love, and care as needed or wanted. I would ask the owner about their likes and dislikes and keep those in mind.

“Pedro was fantastic and super reliable. Agreed at the last minute to come to my hotel and walk my little guy and sent pictures too. When I got back, Goosh was still tired from a good walk. People like Pedro make travelling with my pup possible and I absolutely recommend him.”

About: Hi! I just moved to LA and I am so excited to get to know your fur baby(ies)! When I was 14 I put myself out there and printed flyers for my dog walking and drop in services back home in Boston. I spent all of my sophmore and junior year walking dogs in Charlestown, MA in between school and working part-time at Starbucks. My very first dog was a Bull Mastiff named T. She was recovering from cancer and had a tendency to lay in the middle of the side walk when she was fed up with walking. I learned very early in my career that every dog breed had their own silly and unique characteristics and this intrigued me. I was very invested in researching different dog breeds, training and walking techniques, dog behavior, and then it was history from there. Every walk was a learning opportunity for not only me, but also T and every future dog I worked with. I developed amazing long term relationships with pet parents in Salt Lake and I have moved here to continue my journey at Pierce College to eventually become a Registered Vet Tech. I have walked/sat several kinds of dogs. I approach every walk or sitting with patience, care, and most importantly with you and your fur family in mind. -I have experience in administering medications most commonly oral. - Need a sitter who can run with your four legged friend? I’d love to! - Not afraid to get dirty. That’s apart of the job. Hair ball? No problem! Carpet accident? Just let me know where the cleaner is, I know how it is! - Incredibly patient. Experience with anxious/reactive dogs/cats. - Experience with Dogs who pull - Puppy Care + Kitten Care (Bottle Feeding) - Training Experience - Senior Dog Care - Fast Walker - Good with Large Dogs (100+ pounds) - Looking for reoccurring/long term pet sitting jobs I am currently sitting and walking full time. I am hoping to find long term clients in the area that can rely on me and would like to develop a long term client relationship. My day is your pets day. I make a point to treat the homes of my clients like they are my own. I am always vigilant about items on the floor that can hurt/upset pets stomachs, I maintain things just as they are and respect the space, I ensure my entries and exits are careful and shut the door close behind me, I clean up found messes or remove/report when pets have gotten into things, and lastly I am able to easily adapt to your pets needs. Have a nervous dog who hates loud steps? I’ll walk on the tip of my toes. Need to pretend you microwave your dogs food so they eat it? I’m happy to play pretend!
“Hire Trinity if you love your pet! She is reliable, communicative, attentive, caring, friendly, and super easy to work with. My dog does backflips when Trinity shows up. I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful pet expert. Highly recommended!”

“Isabelle was so great. We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to walk our dog twice while we were at Universal Studios. She sent us lots of pictures and kept us up to date. Highly recommend.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hollywood
Kendi has become our regular and trusted dogwalker for our doggos while we toil in the office. We’re so grateful to have found a flexible, patient, and experienced dogwalker who has helped us out last minute with walks, transportation to the groomer, and while my mobility-limited dad was dogsitting. 5 stars for sure.

Nicole has been such a lovely sitter to work with and we are so grateful to have had the chance to meet her. She’s taken care of our Milo, above and beyond! With a pretty in flux schedule, Nicole has many times come on a moments notice, and always provided detailed communication about availabilities and walks. On other occasions Nicole has taken the time to teach Milo a few tricks! Can’t say enough great things about our experience in working with Nicole!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
