About: Hi there! I’m Angelica, a passionate dog lover and dedicated pet sitter based in the LA/Glendale area. With 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, I understand that every pup has their own unique personality and needs. I’m excited to be back on Rover and meeting and connecting with all fur friends! I currently work part time so pet sitting fits perfectly because it fulfills my afternoons and evenings with fun activities! Who wouldn’t love to dog/ cat sit! Caring for pets in someone else's home while dog sitting requires attentiveness, responsibility, and a genuine love for animals. Here are some key steps to ensure you provide excellent care: Learning about the pet Provide companionship Gather favorite toys Follow house rules Update the owners Monitor health

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Starting with having a few dogs as pets growing up, I learned to care for them and train them. I then started working with dogs at a grooming salon. I was working as a bather for about 3 years before I acquired a position as a dog handler in a boarding facility where I learned how to do Obedience Training and I never let go of that specific field. I continue to work in Dog handling and provide care in several aspects of a dog’s health. I am able to provide baths, trim nails, administer Medications, reinforce Good behavior through consistent training and mental stimulation. I love working with dogs and serving those who love dogs as well! I work in a Dog boarding facility very close to my home, and therefore have a lot of hands on experience caring for pups. While dogs are in my care, I am able to offer services like nail trimming and ear cleaning at the moment. I am hoping to add bathing services very soon. I typically take a lot of walks in my free time and would be happy to take your pup along with me. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always a priority. While I do work close to home. My wife is also home a lot, so you can be sure that your pup is never left alone. My home features a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy outdoor time under supervision. Inside, the home is equipped with both air conditioning and heating, ensuring your pup stays comfortable year-round, whether it’s a hot summer day or a chilly evening. I strive to provide a clean, safe, and relaxing environment where every dog feels right at home.

“Javier was really nice and easy to communicate with. He helped me out last minute and walked my dog Tofu while I was out at work. He sent me pictures and a quick little review of how the walk went. Would definitely use him again.”

“Isabel is excellent! She’s punctual, is a great communicator, and is very natural with dogs. She observed a lot of things about my dogs temperament that I really appreciated . She has also done dog sitting in my home and is very trustworthy.”

“Sean is great with our pup!! Always on time and responsive and has made her feel comfortable walking with someone else (even with her separation anxiety). Great job!!”

About: I’ve had my anxious baby boy black cat since he was a little foster kitten in 2020. I also grew up with a crazy maltipoo, birds, turtles, and more, so I’m very comfortable caring for all types and personalities! I’m currently working part time as a nanny for human babies, so I have plenty of odd hours to help with your fur babies too! I’m happy to follow any safety and care instructions you have. I can play with more social animals or be gentle and quiet with more anxious pets.
“Jonalyn has been walking our dog regularly for a bit over a month, and we (including our dog) have been very pleased! She goes above and beyond to be very accommodating, maximizes the walking time, and sends tons of action pics of their walks.”

“I would HIGHLY recommend Neha as a dog walker. She is trustworthy, professional, respectful, and understanding. I was away from home and my original dog walker was not able to take my dogs out as planned. So I was scrambling to find a replacement. Of course the anxiety of having someone inside my house that I’ve never met in person was a tiny nerve wracking. But Neha made the whole process very comfortable AND it was almost midnight and she STILL went because she knew the situation and did not want my dogs to not have been walked. My dogs do not go poo or pee inside the apartment so they were really excited when they seen her!!!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child, from dogs & cats to geckos & gerbils. Now I have a 4.5yr old Pomeranian and 5yr old cat! They are both very friendly towards other animals. I look forward to meeting your cuties! I'm currently a part time online student so I’ll have plenty of time with your furbabies! I have a fenced-in backyard and I enjoy parks and outdoors. I thrive with routines and structures. I have an extra crate and space if you want to bring your own crate. Since I have a cat and dog, I have most supplies needed in case your furbaby needs it. My home is also pet-proof and safe, no cords accessible or anything on the floors. Pets are also welcomed on furniture so they are not restricted to the floor.

“Traci was able to walk our pup last minute and was so lovely 😭. She was better than I could’ve hoped for! I will definitely have her back as often as she is available!!”

About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting for ten years because I love animals! I have a big heart to take care of them. I stay home a lot and take care of my dog. I know each pet owners have different time, if our time could match, I would like to help and take care of your pets. I do have a big unfenced yard in front of my apartment. They can run and play inside the area. I also have a corgi girl, I believe she can be their friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy spending time with animals and maintaining a structured schedule. I have a flexible work schedule, which allows me to provide walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and attentive care throughout the day. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. I care for pets by making sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy. In my home, I provide fresh water, feeding, playtime, walks, and lots of attention. I stay home often, so pets are well supervised. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow the owner's instructions carefully and keep their regular routine. I treat every pet with love, patience, and care, just like they are my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale
Tamar was excellent in every way. Our dog needed extra care and attention post-surgery and Tamar ensured our dog's well-being and recovery was top priority. She is super attentive, caring, communicative, warm and easy to work with. I highly recommend her and her services!

Chloe has been a consistent dog walker and overnight sitter for my dog Butter for years. She’s the best! She is reliable and cares for Butter just like her own dogs. She is his home away from home. She lives in the neighborhood, and Butter always walks me to her place. He loves being there. Couldn’t be more grateful for Chloe, Wesley, and Ringo!!

Alyssa did an amazing job taking care of Bjork and making sure she had a great walk! She kept me updated with photos throughout the visit, which gave me so much peace of mind, and she was incredibly attentive and understanding of all my instructions. I truly appreciate the care she gave Bjork and will absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you so much, Alyssa! ❤️ — Saphir & Bjork 🐾

John M has a very gentle manner that won over our 15-year-old Chiweenie by the second visit. It was hard for us to trust somebody to not just yank her around and try to get her to bend to their will when all I really want for my little lady-old-lady-baby is a little intellectual stimulation - sniffing around and getting some fresh air. We really appreciate John and his delightfully sweet-natured vibe and trust him to get all of her nonverbal communication!

Alex was by far the best sitter/waller that we have interacted with so far on Rover. She was simple and easy to talk to and quick to respond. She let us know how Pip was doing at every step along the process. We would love to book with her again if allowed to in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
