“Jonalyn has been walking our dog regularly for a bit over a month, and we (including our dog) have been very pleased! She goes above and beyond to be very accommodating, maximizes the walking time, and sends tons of action pics of their walks.”

“Our baby isn't used to being walked by anyone else - although he was stubborn about walking with Sean, Sean was great about keeping in text contact, giving him a bathroom break, and playing with him in the house. Thank you Sean for doing a great job with our large puppy!!!”

“All my reactive dog parents can understand how truly impossible it can feel at times to find someone who is comfortable handling an anxious and sometimes explosive dog. And because of this, I only let a few close family members handle my dog. But that wasn’t an option when I got sick…so thank god for Mandy! We did a meet and greet at our local park and they took the time to get to know Ludo, his triggers and temperament, and was incredibly respectful of our positive reinforcement training. They truly have a gift for animals and I cannot thank them enough for taking good care of my guy. So if you have a reactive dog and need someone you can trust to show up with compassion, patience, and professionalism…choose Mandy!”

“Isabel is excellent! She’s punctual, is a great communicator, and is very natural with dogs. She observed a lot of things about my dogs temperament that I really appreciated . She has also done dog sitting in my home and is very trustworthy.”

“Javier was amazing. We felt that Eros and Zena were put in great hands. He takes amazing pictures and videos during the walk. We will most definitely have Javier back to walk the pups.”

“I was in a situation where I had to get a dog walker in less than 24 hours. I have a bull terrier that is reactive. He’s been in privates and group classes, but a stranger coming in the home will definitely freak him out. I was very nervous but I had no choice. Yana was amazing with him. I had him behind the baby gate and went off as soon as she walked him. She was able to calm him down and was success in taking him out. She sent me lovely pictures of him and he looked so happy. Thank you Yana for helping me out, especially during this stressful situation.”

About: Dogs are my favorite, I love to spend time with them, play and cuddle, I love playing with them at the park, specially with their favorite toy ‘’ball’’ I’m currently working pat time, but thinking to extend my hrs to become full time to be able to taking care of more friendly dogs I do my best to keep my favorite animals happy end of the day, I keep them leashed when im at the park or walking to be safe from surroundings

“Traci is the best!!!!! We can head out knowing our dog will have the time of her life. Great updates and lots of activity for our dog (who loves her visits!!)”

“I would HIGHLY recommend Neha as a dog walker. She is trustworthy, professional, respectful, and understanding. I was away from home and my original dog walker was not able to take my dogs out as planned. So I was scrambling to find a replacement. Of course the anxiety of having someone inside my house that I’ve never met in person was a tiny nerve wracking. But Neha made the whole process very comfortable AND it was almost midnight and she STILL went because she knew the situation and did not want my dogs to not have been walked. My dogs do not go poo or pee inside the apartment so they were really excited when they seen her!!!”

“Jessica was great! She has great communication and responded quickly. Chopper looked very happy on his walk. I will definitely book for future walks! Thank you.”

With 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, I understand that every pup has their own unique personality and needs. I’m excited to be back on Rover and meeting and connecting with all fur friends! I currently work part time so pet sitting fits perfectly because it fulfills my afternoons and evenings with fun activities! Who wouldn’t love to dog/ cat sit! Caring for pets in someone else's home while dog sitting requires attentiveness, responsibility, and a genuine love for animals. Here are some key steps to ensure you provide excellent care: Learning about the pet Provide companionship Gather favorite toys Follow house rules Update the owners Monitor health
About: Hi ! My name is Alicia. I grew up with dogs my entire life and I’ve had my cat for over 12 years, so caring for animals has always been natural to me. Animals have always been a big part of my day-to-day life. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I understand their needs, their personalities, and how to adapt to each one, whether they’re shy, energetic, senior, or a bit anxious. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and other pets of all sizes and ages. I’m gentle, patient, active, caring, and very attentive. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, and ability to adapt to each animal’s unique needs. I’m very confident with anxious pets, routine-based pets, and animals who need extra time to warm up. I can follow feeding schedules, basic training routines, and provide medication if needed. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with lots of love, structure, and reassurance. I’m available every day and very flexible with timing. Your pet will always receive my full attention : walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, and regular photo/video updates. My goal : give you complete peace of mind while you’re away ❤️ Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I’m available 7 days a week, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I have a very flexible schedule, which means I can accommodate last-minute bookings, longer visits, and owners with irregular work hours. Walks and drop-in visits are part of my everyday life, spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy. I live in an apartment in Glendale (no backyard), so all services I provide are done at the owner’s home or outside during walks. I always prioritize safety : I’m attentive during walks, avoid unsafe areas, monitor weather conditions (especially heat), and stay alert around traffic and other dogs. Inside the home, I keep the environment calm and follow the pet’s established routine. I lock doors securely, check gates, make sure food and treats are stored properly, and follow any instructions you provide. I communicate clearly, send updates, and make sure you always know how your pet is doing.
“I have been booking with Lizzie for my dog’s walks and she is great! We met for the meet & greet and she has such a positive and easygoing energy! She is very knowledgeable about anxious dogs and knows how to care for them. Also she’s very responsive, respects your space, and my dog loves her very much!”

About: My name is Nubia and I have loved and owned dogs pretty much my whole life. I love taking dogs out to explore and getting to know them. Who’s day doesn’t get better when seeing a dog. I’ve also been doing Wag for about 6-7 months now and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. There’s been walks where I have had to walk the smallest dog and then there has been times where it’s the biggest dog. I do take treats on my walks for those that need it for motivation, to sit and stay or basic commands during the walk. I have been getting compliments about my long distances so you won’t have to worry about your dog not getting tired. 😌

About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.
About: Hi, my name is Sophie! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, working with small and large breeds of all ages — from playful puppies to calm seniors. I’ve successfully handled untrained dogs and sick dogs as well. I am capable of following dietary guidelines and physical requirements your pet might require. I’m great at reading their moods and energy, so they always feel safe and comfortable. Animals truly are my safe place and I promise to provide the up most care and attention to your furry friend. I’m currently in LA with a completely open summer schedule, so I can give your pet my full attention whenever you need me. I’m completely available Monday through Saturday with flexible times. I’m not working this summer, so I can easily help with walks and drop-in visits around your schedule. I care for pets in your home so they stay in their familiar environment. For walks and check-ins I’ll come to you, keep your place exactly how I found it, and send updates and photos every visit so you always know your dog is safe and happy.
About: I’ve raised two puppies—a Shar Pei and a Chihuahua—so I understand firsthand that every dog has their own personality, temperament, and unique needs. Caring for dogs with such different dispositions has taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and following care instructions closely. Whether your pup needs extra playtime, a gentle approach, or a very specific routine, I’m committed to providing personalized care that helps them feel safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own—with love, patience, and respect. I work remotely so I am available for most of the day and night. I am very flexible and will make sure your pup gets what they need while you are away. I care for every pet based on their individual routine and comfort level, whether they’re in my home or their own. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal schedule as consistent as possible: feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and patience, especially if they need time to warm up.
About: I genuinely believe that animals and pets are too good to us humans. I've grown up loving pets and have always wanted my own. I do greatly enjoy experiencing others' pets because I learn different habits, training methods, and overall personalities of the pet. Being able to give many pets my undying love is the best job in the universe. From cats, to big dogs such as Dobermans, to Chihuahuas, I've dealt with them all. I absolutely love all of the pet breeds. I will care for your pets like they are my very own :) I am an on-site manager and live in the building I manage. Therefore, I am just a few steps away from your pet at all times. I have a fenced patio that is decently sized. I've got access to security footage of the entire building, which I check often. My tenants are also very respectful seniors.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life! Since my very first Boxer, Roxy, I’ve been completely in love with the companionship of dogs. In fact, I raised my own dog, Rambo, from a puppy, and he still lives with me today! As a fellow dog owner, I know firsthand how challenging it can sometimes be to juggle everything that comes with having a pet. Let me help ease those worries and be there for you when you need a hand! I absolutely love everything about animals and can’t wait to meet your pup soon! I live super close to the beach and several great dog parks. I’m very attentive to each owner’s preferences for how and where their dog should be walked, and I’ll always check in to make sure your pup gets the care that suits them best. Since I’m a long-distance runner, I’m more than happy (and able!) to give your dog as much exercise as they need! I'm super flexible and easygoing, but I do have to be strict about overnight dog-sitting cancellations to keep things fair for everyone. That said, if we set up a plan to walk your pup, you can count on me, I’d never miss it! 😊 Your pet's happiness means so much to me! I won’t be able to provide house-sitting services, but I do have a park very close to my home where I can take your dog for walks and, with your permission, even enjoy some playtime in the dog park! Rest assured, I’ll be the only one caring for your dog, so you can feel completely at ease!

Glendale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alyssa was incredible!! She was very very communicative, asked a lot of great questions to make sure my Bowie got the best care possible. She was always right on time for her walks with him. I felt very very safe leaving my Bowie in her care. I would 1000% use her again

Ryan is wonderful! Before and during his visits, he was great about communication. He offered to have a meet-n-greet, before we booked, and he truly understands the needs of senior pets. We will definitely be working with Ryan for both of our pets, as long as he's in the biz!

Michelle was the best thing for rookie, she made sure to help him feel comfortable and confident around other dogs as he has gotten so much better with reactivity. She updated me on how he was progressing and made me feel comfortable leaving him in her care :) 10/10 would recommend !!
April was great to work with. She made everything easy, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and clearly took great care of our dog. I felt completely comfortable knowing everything was handled, and it was obvious she’s both professional and genuinely cares. Would absolutely book her again.

Very impressed! My Doberman Pharoah is not easy to walk because he has very high energy. Tizoc had my dog healing during their walk as they returned. He had him totally under control. Beyond happy with Tizoc’s services. Will definitely be using him again! Highly recommend for larger High energy dog breeds.

I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my dog in the hands of another person but after meeting Bec that completely changed. She was so sweet to my dog, Blondie, and took great care of her. She was also super accommodating for my schedule which is a huge plus. Will certainly be rebooking.

I couldn’t be more thankful to have found Tamar as our new dog walker! It was my first time using Rover, as my pup Lainey is quite shy at first, and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. However, Tamar immediately put her at ease with her patience and kindness. By the end of their first walk, Lainey had found a new best friend. It’s so rare for Laines to get comfy so quickly! We had fantastic communication from the start, which put me at ease as well. Tamar is a reliable, friendly, thoughtful, and overall fantastic person to have taking care of any pet! I’m so glad Lainey is so happy when they’re hanging out, and I have someone trustworthy I can turn to when I need extra help.
