About: I love all types of dogs, and love showering them with attention and affection! I'm quite active, so always happy to get outside for a walk or hike with a pup for some fresh air and exercise. I grew up with a small dog, fostered dogs of all ages and sizes, and have had my own pup for over 3 years now! I'm comfortable with all sizes and breeds. I am very trustworthy - will treat your dog like they’re my own! I work for myself, at home, so always looking for an excuse to get away from my computer and outside! I consider it a bonus if it’s a dog booping me for a break. I live in a back unit on a quiet street and have a park close by for play time and zoomies. My pup loves to play, and has learned how to match another dogs play style, whether it’s a smaller pup or big and energetic! About: Hi! Welcome! I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet, I would like to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that it’s made me fall in love with dogs just as as cats! And they both have their own wonderful and amazing charms! 😁 I work from home so I am always at home, so it makes it easy to take care of pets and give them all the attention and potty breaks that they need. I live in a one bedroom apartment that is 1000-1500 sqft and I don’t have a backyard or personal balcony, but live in a very safe residential neighborhood, so walking dogs outside at anytime of the day is completely safe and fine. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! I firmly believe and take it very seriously that a pet sitter should always respond immediately and be absolutely communicative at all times!

I couldn’t be more thankful to have found Tamar as our new dog walker! It was my first time using Rover, as my pup Lainey is quite shy at first, and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. However, Tamar immediately put her at ease with her patience and kindness. By the end of their first walk, Lainey had found a new best friend. It’s so rare for Laines to get comfy so quickly! We had fantastic communication from the start, which put me at ease as well. Tamar is a reliable, friendly, thoughtful, and overall fantastic person to have taking care of any pet! Brandi was great with our wild pup! She was always on time and super communicative. She even got some great photos of my dog enjoying her walks. Since it was my first time leaving my dog during the work day, I was nervous she would be crazy but Brandi’s walks helped to keep her happy. I highly recommend Brandi for your pet walking needs!!
Sophie was fantastic with my Gigi! She’s a senior dog with some mobility issues and I’m very selective with who watches her. Immediately felt at ease with Sophie who showed real care & compassion for her… and Gigi loved her! Excited for Gigi to have a new friend & for me to find a reliable caregiver.
All my reactive dog parents can understand how truly impossible it can feel at times to find someone who is comfortable handling an anxious and sometimes explosive dog. And because of this, I only let a few close family members handle my dog. But that wasn’t an option when I got sick…so thank god for Mandy! We did a meet and greet at our local park and they took the time to get to know Ludo, his triggers and temperament, and was incredibly respectful of our positive reinforcement training. They truly have a gift for animals and I cannot thank them enough for taking good care of my guy.
