About: Hi there! I’m Angelica, a passionate dog lover and dedicated pet sitter based in the LA/Glendale area. With 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, I understand that every pup has their own unique personality and needs. I’m excited to be back on Rover and meeting and connecting with all fur friends! I currently work part time so pet sitting fits perfectly because it fulfills my afternoons and evenings with fun activities! Who wouldn’t love to dog/ cat sit! Caring for pets in someone else's home while dog sitting requires attentiveness, responsibility, and a genuine love for animals. Here are some key steps to ensure you provide excellent care: Learning about the pet Provide companionship Gather favorite toys Follow house rules Update the owners Monitor health

“Javier is great! Having just moved to LA, it’s been a stressful transition for my pup, but Javier made it easy. He is reliable, keeps up open communication, and makes sure to send photos or videos of him spoiling My dog. Cusco is looking forward to his Boris for a while to come!”

“Sean took the time to come meet us and the dogs before we left town, which we really appreciated. He was easy going and punctual to the committed time. They got a good walk in and were happy on their return. We'll definitely call on Sean again!”

“Dan is an excellent walker! We’ve gotten into an amazing routine with him helping us with our pupper’s exercise/morning needs on our busiest work day! Guppy is so excited to spend time with Dan and we love our Friday morning check ins with him! Highly recommend working with Dan and booking recurring walks has been a game changer! Thanks Dan!!!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Starting with having a few dogs as pets growing up, I learned to care for them and train them. I then started working with dogs at a grooming salon. I was working as a bather for about 3 years before I acquired a position as a dog handler in a boarding facility where I learned how to do Obedience Training and I never let go of that specific field. I continue to work in Dog handling and provide care in several aspects of a dog’s health. I am able to provide baths, trim nails, administer Medications, reinforce Good behavior through consistent training and mental stimulation. I love working with dogs and serving those who love dogs as well! I work in a Dog boarding facility very close to my home, and therefore have a lot of hands on experience caring for pups. While dogs are in my care, I am able to offer services like nail trimming and ear cleaning at the moment. I am hoping to add bathing services very soon. I typically take a lot of walks in my free time and would be happy to take your pup along with me. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always a priority. While I do work close to home. My wife is also home a lot, so you can be sure that your pup is never left alone. My home features a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy outdoor time under supervision. Inside, the home is equipped with both air conditioning and heating, ensuring your pup stays comfortable year-round, whether it’s a hot summer day or a chilly evening. I strive to provide a clean, safe, and relaxing environment where every dog feels right at home.
“Super friendly and responsive! Our dog Freddie really loved Zixuan. Freddie has door and “people leaving” anxiety, and Zixuan was really attentive to our special instructions for leaving the house after the walk. Will definitely be booking with her again 😊”

“Highly recommended! Rachel took care of our dog while. We were on vacation, and she did such an incredible job. She was reliable, timely, and flexible. We got pictures and videos every day, which we really appreciated.”

“Ryan is wonderful! Before and during his visits, he was great about communication. He offered to have a meet-n-greet, before we booked, and he truly understands the needs of senior pets. We will definitely be working with Ryan for both of our pets, as long as he's in the biz!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a household that regularly had multiple dogs, including a period where we had five at once, giving me strong experience handling different temperaments and needs. I’ve spent time with working and gun dogs, and have personally cared for both a lurcher and a dachshund, so I’m confident with everything from energetic breeds to smaller companion dogs. Now based in LA, I still live with dogs—two chihuahuas—so caring for them remains part of my daily routine. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, making sure they feel comfortable, exercised, and well looked after. Happy to tailor walks based on your dog’s energy level—whether that’s a long run or a gentle stroll. I have a very flexible schedule and can usually accommodate last-minute requests, which makes me a great option if you ever need help at short notice. Being self-employed allows me to adapt my day easily, so I’m happy to work around your routine and your dog’s specific needs—whether that’s regular walks, occasional help, or something more tailored. I understand that plans can change, so I aim to be as reliable and accommodating as possible. I take safety and trust very seriously, and I always aim to create a calm, secure environment for every dog in my care. My home is a small, open-plan duplex, which allows me to keep a close eye on dogs at all times. The stairs are gated off for safety, and I can also block off the outdoor area if needed, so I’m able to manage the space depending on each dog’s needs and comfort level. While I’m not currently offering regular daycare, I would be open to it on a case-by-case basis. My priority is always making sure each dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for in a controlled and comfortable environment.
“Jessica was great! She has great communication and responded quickly. Chopper looked very happy on his walk. I will definitely book for future walks! Thank you.”

“Chris and Eddie were amazing! Zola fell in love with them the moment she met them. They communicated so well and sent lots of pictures. Can’t wait to book them again.”

About: Hi! Welcome! I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet, I would like to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that it’s made me fall in love with dogs just as as cats! I absolutely love and enjoy taking care of both dogs and cats! And they both have their own wonderful and amazing charms! 😁 I work from home so I am always at home, so it makes it easy to take care of pets and give them all the attention and potty breaks that they need. I am available for boarding or pet daycare at anytime, so please feel free to contact me whenever you would like. I live in a one bedroom apartment that is 1000-1500 sqft and I don’t have a backyard or personal balcony, but live in a very safe residential neighborhood, so walking dogs outside at anytime of the day is completely safe and fine. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! I firmly believe and take it very seriously that a pet sitter should always respond immediately and be absolutely communicative at all times!

“Traci came to my and my pups’ rescue when I was hit with a high fever and couldn’t take them on their regular evening walk. She was there shortly after I messaged her and was friendly, professional, great with the dogs and extremely communicative. Thank you, Traci!!!”

About: I love all animals and I have experience in lots of different animal care, including aquatics and exotics. I myself have two cats and a dog, and I have helped out folks with many different species, including husbandry. I’m so excited to meet your pet! Every morning my cat kids wake me up around 5:30/6am. The cats and I eat our breakfast together, Babygirl gets her meds, and then just spend the rest of the morning lounging and relaxing. When the senior dog wakes up, he gets his meds and breakfast and then it’s walk time!! Lunch time the cats each get a little churu treaty, and they spend some time playing before afternoon naps. They basically bounce back and forth from silly time to deep sleep for the rest of the day, then it’s dinner time, walkys for Kenji the dog and more playtime, then bed. Pets aren’t “spoiled,” they are cherished. Taking care of beautiful creatures that love us and make us their whole world is a gift. They deserve kindness, compassion, and respect. I love all animals as an extension of the love I hold for my own, and I can’t wait to meet yours and give them love and care.
About: With years of dedicated pet care experience, I've looked after a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds and rabbits. My passion for pets is evident in the attention and love I provide, making sure each one is healthy and content. While I don't have pets presently, my routine eagerly anticipates their presence. I dedicate time each day to care, ensuring they're happy, active, and loved when they come my way. In both my home and my clients' homes, I make sure that safety, trust, and a pet-friendly environment are top priorities. For dogs, this includes secure fencing, leash-trained walks, and supervised playtime. Cats receive cozy, quiet spaces for relaxation and play. I adhere to feeding schedules, administer medication when necessary, and provide ample cuddles and exercise. It's all about making each pet feel comfortable and loved.
About: My name is Nubia and I have loved and owned dogs pretty much my whole life. I love taking dogs out to explore and getting to know them. Who’s day doesn’t get better when seeing a dog. I’ve also been doing Wag for about 6-7 months now and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. There’s been walks where I have had to walk the smallest dog and then there has been times where it’s the biggest dog. I do take treats on my walks for those that need it for motivation, to sit and stay or basic commands during the walk. I have been getting compliments about my long distances so you won’t have to worry about your dog not getting tired. 😌

About: Pit-mixes, spitzes, hounds, herders, toys, terriers, I love 'em all! I grew-up training the family Aussie, have fostered rescues and live with two rescues of my own. I'm comfortable managing reactive dogs, shy dogs, energetic dogs, puppies and seniors. If you're looking to tucker-out your pup, ask me about turning the walk into a jog - I can get about ~3miles in 30min, depending on where you live and if your pup is fit! I'm currently working freelance and my schedule is flexible. I usually start and end my days with a walk or run and would love to share that with a furry friend I know dogs like familiarity and routine, so I aim to stick as close as possible to what they're used to. Give me all the deets!
About: Hi, I'm Emma! Being surrounded by dogs of my own for most of my life, I learned to care for animals at a young age. I am open to being around all animals and have been a devoted cat owner for over a year now. Kittie is very loving and minds her own business when it comes to other animals around. I can relate to the experience of having to leave your pet for someone else to watch. Don't worry, you will get constant updates and photos! My apartment complex has a private dog park for residents and is less than five minutes from beautiful Echo Park, perfect for walks, exercise, and boarding! As a person, I am honest, reliable, and loving. I understand the importance of detail and will follow any routine that you usually follow. I am currently enrolled in college, so my availability would work around a fairly flexible schedule. It would fill my heart to take care of your pup when you aren't available and give them all of the love they need!
About: I have taken care of dogs about 4years. I like to watch them to play, and talk to them as communicating. To walk, feed and play with them, let me feel so warm and make my day. I have a big heart to take care of them. I stay home a lot and take care of my dog. I know each pet owners have different time, if our time could match, I would like to help and take care of your pets. I do have a big unfenced yard in front of my apartment. They can run and play inside the area. I also have a corgi girl, I believe she can be their friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy spending time with animals and maintaining a structured schedule. I have a flexible work schedule, which allows me to provide walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and attentive care throughout the day. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. I care for pets by making sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy. In my home, I provide fresh water, feeding, playtime, walks, and lots of attention. I stay home often, so pets are well supervised. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow the owner's instructions carefully and keep their regular routine. I treat every pet with love, patience, and care, just like they are my own.
“Katherine was professional and a great communicator, and she was great with my puppy! I especially appreciate her taking the time to meet with us in advance. I’ll definitely use Katherine again in the future!”

Tamar was excellent in every way. Our dog needed extra care and attention post-surgery and Tamar ensured our dog's well-being and recovery was top priority. She is super attentive, caring, communicative, warm and easy to work with. I highly recommend her and her services!

Chloe has been a consistent dog walker and overnight sitter for my dog Butter for years. She’s the best! She is reliable and cares for Butter just like her own dogs. She is his home away from home. She lives in the neighborhood, and Butter always walks me to her place. He loves being there. Couldn’t be more grateful for Chloe, Wesley, and Ringo!!

Maggie has been an amazing weekly walker for Riggy! Riggy gets so excited every time she sees her, which says everything. She handles Riggy’s rambunctious energy like a pro (even when she has to wrestle with the harness because Riggy insists on trying to bite it when it gets put on her 😂). Maggie always makes sure Riggy has water during her walks and even refills her water bowl afterward, which we really appreciate. She’s incredibly easy to schedule with, reliable, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves animals. Most importantly, we completely trust Maggie and know Riggy is in the best hands whenever they’re together. That’s exactly why she’s become our number one go-to walker. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Lauren was wonderful! She was on time and so friendly, and she kept me updated throughout with messages and photos. I especially appreciated how careful she was in the heat, making sure my dog stayed safe and comfortable. I never had to worry with her on walks. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely book again!

John M has a very gentle manner that won over our 15-year-old Chiweenie by the second visit. It was hard for us to trust somebody to not just yank her around and try to get her to bend to their will when all I really want for my little lady-old-lady-baby is a little intellectual stimulation - sniffing around and getting some fresh air. We really appreciate John and his delightfully sweet-natured vibe and trust him to get all of her nonverbal communication!

Alex was by far the best sitter/waller that we have interacted with so far on Rover. She was simple and easy to talk to and quick to respond. She let us know how Pip was doing at every step along the process. We would love to book with her again if allowed to in the future.
