I live super close to the beach and several great dog parks. I’m very attentive to each owner’s preferences for how and where their dog should be walked, and I’ll always check in to make sure your pup gets the care that suits them best. Since I’m a long-distance runner, I’m more than happy (and able!) to give your dog as much exercise as they need! I'm super flexible and easygoing, but I do have to be strict about overnight dog-sitting cancellations to keep things fair for everyone. That said, if we set up a plan to walk your pup, you can count on me, I’d never miss it! 😊 Your pet's happiness means so much to me! I won’t be able to provide house-sitting services, but I do have a park very close to my home where I can take your dog for walks and, with your permission, even enjoy some playtime in the dog park! Rest assured, I’ll be the only one caring for your dog, so you can feel completely at ease!

About: My name is Nubia and I have loved and owned dogs pretty much my whole life. I love taking dogs out to explore and getting to know them. Who’s day doesn’t get better when seeing a dog. I’ve also been doing Wag for about 6-7 months now and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. There’s been walks where I have had to walk the smallest dog and then there has been times where it’s the biggest dog. I do take treats on my walks for those that need it for motivation, to sit and stay or basic commands during the walk. About: Hi! Welcome! I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet, I would like to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that it’s made me fall in love with dogs just as as cats! I absolutely love and enjoy taking care of both dogs and cats! And they both have their own wonderful and amazing charms! 😁 I work from home so I am always at home, so it makes it easy to take care of pets and give them all the attention and potty breaks that they need. I live in a one bedroom apartment that is 1000-1500 sqft and I don’t have a backyard or personal balcony, but live in a very safe residential neighborhood, so walking dogs outside at anytime of the day is completely safe and fine. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! I firmly believe and take it very seriously that a pet sitter should always respond immediately and be absolutely communicative at all times!
