Rachel was a fantastic with our new rescue dog, Winnie. Winnie is very shy and easily scared - Rachel understood all of her feelings and did the exact right things to get her comfortable. Winnie warmed up to her very fast!!! Rachel was also very communicative with us, which was so reassuring and helpful. Thank you Rachel!!! We are looking forward to booking her again.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life of all different breeds! I think they’re the most amazing animals, and I love spending time with them. I’ve been dog sitting for a few people in my network for the past year and want to expand my services. I do a lot of self-research on training and best pet practices so I can take the best care of my animal BFFS as I can. I’m passionate about animal care. A dog walk is time for your dog to exercise, learn, sniff, and explore, and I take that time seriously. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I can work around your scheduling needs for dog walking and drop ins! Happy to accommodate. I am very careful on walks of what the dogs are encountering. If your dog has any triggers, please let me know and I’ll work with your dog to try to avoid, distract, and provide positive reinforcement.

About: With years of dedicated pet care experience, I've looked after a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds and rabbits. My passion for pets is evident in the attention and love I provide, making sure each one is healthy and content. While I don't have pets presently, my routine eagerly anticipates their presence. I dedicate time each day to care, ensuring they're happy, active, and loved when they come my way. In both my home and my clients' homes, I make sure that safety, trust, and a pet-friendly environment are top priorities. For dogs, this includes secure fencing, leash-trained walks, and supervised playtime. Cats receive cozy, quiet spaces for relaxation and play. I adhere to feeding schedules, administer medication when necessary, and provide ample cuddles and exercise. It's all about making each pet feel comfortable and loved.

About: Experienced pet owner (3 dogs, 1 cat, currently own 1 dog) and dog fosterer between 2016-2018 for multiple organizations! I truly love animals and have experience with all sizes, energy levels and even fear based aggression. I administer meds to my dog daily and am extremely specific when it comes to my own dog's care, so I know what it means to be a client with high expectations! I love getting to know and develop bonds with animals and it has always been natural to me. I have a somewhat flexible remote schedule, with more availability on Fridays and Saturdays. Afternoons and evenings during the week work very well for me! I am likely unable to host your pet in my home, but will quite happily visit yours! I am very good about making a calm entrance and getting toneach pet "on their level"

About: Hi! Welcome! I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet, I would like to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that it’s made me fall in love with dogs just as as cats! I absolutely love and enjoy taking care of both dogs and cats! And they both have their own wonderful and amazing charms! 😁 I work from home so I am always at home, so it makes it easy to take care of pets and give them all the attention and potty breaks that they need. I am available for boarding or pet daycare at anytime, so please feel free to contact me whenever you would like. I live in a one bedroom apartment that is 1000-1500 sqft and I don’t have a backyard or personal balcony, but live in a very safe residential neighborhood, so walking dogs outside at anytime of the day is completely safe and fine. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! I firmly believe and take it very seriously that a pet sitter should always respond immediately and be absolutely communicative at all times!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child and grew up around both. I've trained a few dogs before and have experienced with administrating medication to cats and dogs. I can care for any other animals as well! Scales, slimy, feathers, fur, no complaints from me. Regardless of the species or breed, I adore and care for them as if they're my own. I'm currently available full time to take care of your pets! I can build my schedule around pet care to make sure their needs are always met. Each day will include feeding, walks or playtime, and monitoring their behavior and health. During my time with your pet, I can also take care of bathing and cleaning them. I treat a client’s home and pet with the same care and respect as my own. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs. I also pay attention to the pet’s behavior and well-being, and I keep the space clean by handling things like litter boxes, food areas, and any messes. I’m more than happy to provide regular updates and photos for the client's peace of mind!

Sarah and David, I am very impressed with their professionalism and how they take care of my pup. They first had a meet and greet. My dog was very comfortable with them. I shared with them that my pup can be reactive and pulls. After their first walk, they shared that he was a good boy and sent pictures. I was so happy to hear! I highly recommend them as dog walkers!

About: I’ve been with dogs since I was 4 year old. That makes me understand their behaviors and love them as each one is mine. I don’t see them as a pets, I’m convinced they are family members. 🐾💕 I'm currently available for walks, drop-in visits, and day care during the following hours: Longer Days (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM): Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Standard Days (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I'm happy to discuss your pet's specific routine and see how I can best fit into your schedule! My connection with dogs began at age four, and that lifelong bond has taught me to see them not as pets, but as irreplaceable members of the family. This deep understanding means I can anticipate their needs, recognize subtle behavioral changes, and ensure they feel safe, loved, at your home while you're away. You can trust that your dog will receive attentive, personalized, and truly loving care.🐾💕

I couldn’t be more thankful to have found Tamar as our new dog walker! It was my first time using Rover, as my pup Lainey is quite shy at first, and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. However, Tamar immediately put her at ease with her patience and kindness. By the end of their first walk, Lainey had found a new best friend. It’s so rare for Laines to get comfy so quickly! We had fantastic communication from the start, which put me at ease as well. Tamar is a reliable, friendly, thoughtful, and overall fantastic person to have taking care of any pet! I’m so glad Lainey is so happy when they’re hanging out, and I have someone trustworthy I can turn to when I need extra help.

All my reactive dog parents can understand how truly impossible it can feel at times to find someone who is comfortable handling an anxious and sometimes explosive dog. And because of this, I only let a few close family members handle my dog. But that wasn’t an option when I got sick…so thank god for Mandy! We did a meet and greet at our local park and they took the time to get to know Ludo, his triggers and temperament, and was incredibly respectful of our positive reinforcement training. They truly have a gift for animals and I cannot thank them enough for taking good care of my guy. So if you have a reactive dog and need someone you can trust to show up with compassion, patience, and professionalism…choose Mandy!
