About: I’ve always had a love of animals, and been in close quarters with both cats and dogs early in my life, which i found to be incredibly beneficial for me. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, from a grumpy miniature pinscher to a deaf pit bull, with medication routines and environmental needs. While much of my experience with caring for dogs is with older dogs, my forever dog Roxy was not always a senior dog and in her younger years she was a 65+ pound pittie mix. I love taking dogs around the neighborhood and letting them set the pace, and if necessary I can carry a pretty heavy dog, in case of a splinter in a paw or a mean dog. I like to keep animals out of the sun during the hottest part of the day, and try to make sure that they have enough time/daylight to work out all the excitement. I also take medication, so when caring for a dog who also needs medication, I like to take mine with them. I work part-time as a botanical assistant and artist, so my hours are irregular, but thus allow quite a bit of time for me to care for animals during the day. Im big with cuddly animals, they often find me very approachable and sweet when i interact with them. My own animals are rather skiddish around strangers, so I tend to try and assess each animal by their body language, if it’s a jumpy and exited animal, I will greet them with a similar energy and love up on them, if they are a bit more shy I will get on their level, and wait for them to initiate. I only feel comfortable if my friend is, that when I know we will get along great.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Starting with having a few dogs as pets growing up, I learned to care for them and train them. I then started working with dogs at a grooming salon. I was working as a bather for about 3 years before I acquired a position as a dog handler in a boarding facility where I learned how to do Obedience Training and I never let go of that specific field. I continue to work in Dog handling and provide care in several aspects of a dog’s health. I am able to provide baths, trim nails, administer Medications, reinforce Good behavior through consistent training and mental stimulation. I love working with dogs and serving those who love dogs as well! I work in a Dog boarding facility very close to my home, and therefore have a lot of hands on experience caring for pups. While dogs are in my care, I am able to offer services like nail trimming and ear cleaning at the moment. I am hoping to add bathing services very soon. About: Hi! Welcome! I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet, I would like to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that it’s made me fall in love with dogs just as as cats! I absolutely love and enjoy taking care of both dogs and cats! And they both have their own wonderful and amazing charms! 😁 I work from home so I am always at home, so it makes it easy to take care of pets and give them all the attention and potty breaks that they need. I am available for boarding or pet daycare at anytime, so please feel free to contact me whenever you would like. I live in a one bedroom apartment that is 1000-1500 sqft and I don’t have a backyard or personal balcony, but live in a very safe residential neighborhood, so walking dogs outside at anytime of the day is completely safe and fine. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! I firmly believe and take it very seriously that a pet sitter should always respond immediately and be absolutely communicative at all times!

About: I love all animals and I have experience in lots of different animal care, including aquatics and exotics. I myself have two cats and a dog, and I have helped out folks with many different species, including husbandry. I’m so excited to meet your pet! Every morning my cat kids wake me up around 5:30/6am. The cats and I eat our breakfast together, Babygirl gets her meds, and then just spend the rest of the morning lounging and relaxing. When the senior dog wakes up, he gets his meds and breakfast and then it’s walk time!! Lunch time the cats each get a little churu treaty, and they spend some time playing before afternoon naps. They basically bounce back and forth from silly time to deep sleep for the rest of the day, then it’s dinner time, walkys for Kenji the dog and more playtime, then bed. Pets aren’t “spoiled,” they are cherished. Taking care of beautiful creatures that love us and make us their whole world is a gift. They deserve kindness, compassion, and respect. My apartment complex has a private dog park for residents and is less than five minutes from beautiful Echo Park, perfect for walks, exercise, and boarding! I am currently enrolled in college, so my availability would work around a fairly flexible schedule. About: Hello! In 2017 I met my first friendly street cat which sent me on a journey from “strict dog person” to “cat lady.” I have since adopted two cats, Bean and Raisin, and fostered more than a dozen adult cats and kittens. I also work closely with an organization doing TNR in my community--trapping neighborhood cats and spay/neutering them. I have a 2nd bedroom that I use as both my office and cat zone with toys if your cat needs his/her own space but am also a friendly home for a rambunctious cat. Bean is very passive and chill, while Raisin just wants to make friends and play. I’m a trusted cat mom and foster mom and will cuddle your fur babies just like you would if you were home with them! I know how important it is to a pet parent's peace of mind while away from their animal to know how they're doing so I always make sure I send pictures and regular updates. Please note that due to my cats, I only board other cats in my home—no dogs. And I only board one client at a time. Rover doesn't give the opportunity to specify this. I can do drop ins for other animals in your home no problem! I work from home and can occasionally have period of hiatus from work with lots of free time to dedicate to doing drop ins and being there for any boarding guests. I am very strict about indoors only for cats given my history with TNR. Also because I'm an experienced trapper, if somehow your cat escapes my care, I have the skills and equipment and knowledge to get them back for you. I don't leave boarding guests alone with my cats without supervision, even when sleeping, unless enough time has passed that I can trust them all together.
