About: Hi, my name is Sophie! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, working with small and large breeds of all ages — from playful puppies to calm seniors. I’ve successfully handled untrained dogs and sick dogs as well. I am capable of following dietary guidelines and physical requirements your pet might require. I’m great at reading their moods and energy, so they always feel safe and comfortable. Animals truly are my safe place and I promise to provide the up most care and attention to your furry friend. I’m currently in LA with a completely open summer schedule, so I can give your pet my full attention whenever you need me. I’m completely available Monday through Saturday with flexible times. I’m not working this summer, so I can easily help with walks and drop-in visits around your schedule. I care for pets in your home so they stay in their familiar environment. About: I've worked with or had pets of my own for years and I've gone through training for my fearful reactive dog so I know each per deserves personalized care! Puzzle toys? Long walks? Cuddles? No cuddles? All good here. I work part time currently so it's best we figure out beforehand if I can meet your pets needs! Typically on a workday I'd be unable to stop by for 8 hours out of the day. I am currently a stay at home mom so my days are flexible. ***Note regarding SITTING Services: I am typically unable to stay overnight in your home. However, this does not prevent me from providing high quality, attentive care. I guarantee that I will return promptly first thing the following morning to tend to your pet’s needs. I commit to working with you to find a schedule that works for you and instills confidence that your pets are taken care of up to your standards. I have experience administering medication, both oral and injections. My last dog had severe health issues and food allergies that required daily shots, pills, and home cooked meals with numerous supplements. I have experience with puppies as young as six weeks old (and kittens as young as two) as well as seniors. I’m comfortable taking care of special needs animals as well. I am communicative prior and throughout service, including updates, recaps and photos. I am incredibly patient with animals and their behaviors and pride myself in making them comfortable with me. When on walks your dog’s safety is my number one priority. I always carry a doggie water bottle in case they get thirsty or it’s hot. I'm currently the pet parent of a high energy Australian Cattle Dog/Husky mix and a well-meaning Siamese mix. COVID vaccinated. I have flexible availability Sunday-Saturday for one-time and recurring services. I am available for last minute walks, drop-ins and sitting. I am excited to meet your pets! For sitting clients, I will work with you to find a schedule that works for you and your pets. I can come over as early, stay late, and spend lots of time with your pets. I pay attention to details and aim to follow all the instructions to the letter and I pride myself in being very communicate. I have experience meeting both gregarious and shy dogs. I have patience to let your pets come to me so that they feel comfortable with me in their home. Safety on walks is number one priority. This starts with secure leash/harness and includes awareness of triggers, and being conscious about the heat/cold.

“I've had the privilege of using Ryan's service twice now and I plan to re-use him often. He's been very responsive and has followed directions extremely well. And this is with my topsy turvy schedule and high expectations. I love the sh*t out of my little canine buddy... and yeah... finding new people who are reliable, hopefully honest, and willing to earn trust between three of us is hard and is not a real fun experience. Ryan's been wonderful. Ryan being a part of our atwater village neighbourhood doesn't hurt either. Being close and familiar with streets and animal hospitals in case of emergencies and trails and stuff is so much of a relief. Zero complaints, only kudos, from my mutt.
