About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Starting with having a few dogs as pets growing up, I learned to care for them and train them. I then started working with dogs at a grooming salon. I was working as a bather for about 3 years before I acquired a position as a dog handler in a boarding facility where I learned how to do Obedience Training and I never let go of that specific field. I continue to work in Dog handling and provide care in several aspects of a dog’s health. I am able to provide baths, trim nails, administer Medications, reinforce Good behavior through consistent training and mental stimulation. About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that!
