About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. Jagger, my 12 year old Cavalier passed away a few months ago and it was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. Caring for him was the highlight of my entire life whether it was good or bad. Because of this I’m great with senior dogs, but also dogs of any age. My love for dogs extends beyond my own. I would love to open my home up to more dogs that can keep me and Riley, my 13 year old Cavalier company! Riley is the sweetest boy and gets along with any dog! He’s never bit or has ever been aggressive. However, I can separate him from your dog upon request! :) I work part-time. A couple days a week for a few hours if that. I’m usually working from home on my laptop so I am able to attend to your dog at all times. I have a large fenced yard and a senior Cavalier who is great with every pet. I can walk your dog once or twice a day and they will never be left unattended.

During the day, the dogs play in a safe yard and sleep in the indoor dog bed at night. Pay attention to the details of the pets. In case of any emergency, communicate in time I get up at 5 am every day and work part -time marshalls from 6 am to 10 am for 3 days a week ,the rest of the time l' m free and can take care of pets, Even l am not home , my husband will be at home, so don't worry , be safe/ be clean /be happy ! I live the house with a closed and secure yard ,during the day pets can freely move and play around in the yard, the room on the second floor is where the pets sleep,l don't boarding more than three pets at sam time

I have experienced the joy of taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, fish, you name it. If I could have a farm filled with all sorts of cutie pies, I would. I might prefer them over people most of the time ;) These days, I have a lot of time on my hands, yes, the wide open calendar is real, so if you are in my zone and need last minute help taking care of your loved ones (prefer a minimum of 1 day notice, but could help out in case of an emergency), please reach out. I am open to boarding and daycare at my home if that is your preference, but my personal policy is to get to know your pet via drop-ins, walks, or housesitting before I am able to approve said services. I am open to dogs and cats of all ages and needs, but if your pet is a large dog, my requirement is that they are reasonably leash trained so I can ensure safe care for all parties. I appreciate your consideration and hope to meet you and your pet one day! I am currently unemployed so my day is very flexible. I'm open to walks, drop-ins, and housesitting, whichever suits your needs best. I need minimum 1 day in advance notice, but I will consider emergency requests as needed. I have a fenced in yard and your pet will have access to all the public spaces of my home. About: Ive had dogs and cats ever since I was a kid, whether they chose us as strays or we chose them. Ive had white german Shepards, a black Labrador and a Staffordshire Terrier as of recent. Currently owning two adorable playful cats with my girlfriend, Tiger and Choco. Ones sweet and loving while the other is a fun loving naughty lil devil. Im a freelance artist/painter/illustrator and instructor. Some factors as to why my free-time is more than others are my jobs may be spaced out and I do most of my work at night and or the weekends when I'm not teaching. The cats I have now are both indoor kitties, I provide them with tons of toys and Churu treats to keep them happy. I enjoy being outdoors and going on walks/ hikes or bike rides but its hard doing that with the cats I have because they aren't so keen to being outside. I used to ride my bike with my Staffordshire Terrier around LA alot.

“Athene was so great with my new rescue dog Coco. We just adopted her a few months ago and are still getting to know her but had a camping trip planned and couldn't take her on any of the hikes so we needed boarding. Athene lives right in the neighborhood and we set up a meet & greet. Coco was immediately at ease in her space, even with lots of dogs barking behind another door. Athene's temperament is very soothing and confident and the dogs respond to her well. Coco spent 2 nights with her and we got regular updates via photos & videos. Coco apparently demonstrated some resource guarding behavior which Athene handled like a champ by feeding her separately. She let me know about everything as soon as I picked up Coco, which was really helpful as we're still getting to know her ourselves so every little bit of information we can get about her personality & habits helps. Overall, I felt Athene was a super capable boarder and will absolutely use her again!”
