I’m a 30y/o Los Angeles pet dad, looking for a nice side gig as well as a way to Connect & edify myself with pet-care & social skills going to forward. Primarily with the animals, yet as well built communicative skills with individuals. -Cheers, André. ✌🏽 Currently I am self-employed. Be that as it may, I have quite the open/flexible schedule. Adherence to any fitted schedule isn’t necessary. Unless communicated prior, scheduling shouldn’t ever be an issue of concern. I’ve been surrounded by, and lived with and have familial pets all throughout my life, but I’ve only recently become a pet father myself as of eight months ago. Actions I take in my home to cater to, and care for my pets include the following: -Thorough research on how to continue to better myself as a parent towards my pets. -Patience becoming more and more a virtue 😅 ha. -Repetition -Understanding Acts of discipline, or constructive experiences to better the bond between myself and my pets, are dismal. Redirection, and communication with the pets consistently build the bond. Consistent, and I mean consistent playtime, proper feeding schedule, toys…I’ve built quite the furniture shop for my cats. Lastly just love them, damn. 😁

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for 3 years, and honestly, I just really love dogs! 🐶 I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, with most of my experience being with bigger dogs. I’ve looked after two Huskies at once, a Standard Poodle, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, and senior dogs. I grew up with a Lhasa Apso and was lucky enough to care for him myself during his senior years, so I understand how much extra patience, love, and attention older pups can need. I’m also very active and genuinely love going for walks. I average at least 10,000 steps a day, so if your dog loves a good walk, we’re probably going to be best friends! I’m very comfortable staying in other people’s homes and actually enjoy helping dogs stay in the environment they know and love. My goal is to keep your pup happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away. I’ll give them plenty of attention, exercise, cuddles, and, of course, lots of love! I work part time remotely with lots of flexibility and can bring my laptop anywhere. I don’t not have a partner or children so I can dedicated the proper time to looking after your pet! I will ensure that gates and doors are locked. The dog is on leash whenever we leave and to avoid other dogs and people if necessary. I will stick to your wishes on how you want your pet looked after.

We came home to a happy pup! We’ve had our dog, Ludo, for over a year and a half and haven't had to leave him for any significant amount of time. So you can imagine our hesitation leaving him for four days while we took a cross-country trip. Thankfully, we found Cody on Rover. He immediately put us at ease with his warm, welcoming demeanor. Ludo took to him instantly, sniffing him like an old friend—and if that isn't a seal of approval, I don't know what is! Cody was punctual and followed Ludo's routine to a T. He sent frequent photo updates that eased our anxiety about being away from him for an extended period. Cody kept our minds at ease and our pup wonderfully entertained. We’ve already decided to book him for all our future trips. If you're nervous about leaving your pet with someone new, you couldn't be in better hands than with Cody.
Casey watched our pups and house sat for us while we were away on vacation for the week. It was our first time leaving the dogs for that long and weren’t sure how they would do because they can be nervous around new people. The dogs warmed up to her right away and Casey was very reassuring when we were feeling anxious about leaving them! Casey was communicative and followed care instructions closely. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Avery was absolutely wonderful with Max, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He took such thoughtful care of him while we were away — taking him on walks and hikes, playing his favorite game of fetch, and making sure he got plenty of attention and activity. What I appreciated most was how attentive Avery was to Max emotionally. Every day, he sent us updates about how Max was doing, including his mood, how he was adjusting, and how he was eating. Being away from Max for an extended period, those little details meant so much to us and really gave us peace of mind. Avery also went above and beyond by cleaning up our house before he left, which was such a thoughtful surprise to come home to. It was very clear that Avery genuinely cared about Max and took the time to understand his personality and make him feel comfortable and loved. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. We are so thrilled that we found Jennifer to stay at our home with our two dogs. She is caring, thoughtful, respectful and most importantly - LOVED our dogs. Julianna cared for my two schnauzers in my home for a week. I was so impressed by her care and attention to detail. My dogs can be yappy and excitable and Julianna’s kindness and calming presence enabled them to warm to her quickly. She played with my dogs regularly, provided them with love and attention and quickly became their favorite person! Julianna also thoughtfully inquired about my preference on the cadence of communication and provided me regular updates. This was the first time I had hired a housesitter for my pups, so it was very comforting to hear from her regularly. Further, my home is in an area populated by coyotes, and Julianna followed all of my safety instructions to keep my dogs safe from predators. Beyond the excellent care Julianna provided to my dogs, she also treated my home with incredible respect and left it in better condition than she found it. As an owner of a breed (Belgian Malinois) that comes with a little higher attention and demand, it was such a relief to find Jarrod! He was incredibly attentive to our instructions, and was great with sharing updates while we were away. He took care of her and our home like they were his own, and as a result I felt like I could relax and not worry while away. Highly recommend!
