“Probably the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! Both of my dogs seemed to absolutely love Sarah and her husband. She sent updates and photos every day and even taught them a new game! Never had to stress or worry about my kiddos when I was gone. I knew they were in excellent hands. Will 10000% book with her and her only! :D”

“Emilie was very thorough and responsive. My apartment was in great shape when I came home, and also when I came home, my cat acted like I had just come back from a trip to the store, which is a sign to me that she did not miss me much at all!”

About: I have 10years of animal care experience, walking, talking, and hanging out with both large and small animals. I have experience with the fun, lovable family member types as well as the trained, agility and discipline types of dogs. I am capable of following existing discipline regimes as well as showing up and letting the animals be themselves. Animals bring me joy and I would be honored to be a part of your pets life, even for a short time. I am currently building my own business so I have a lot of flexibility within my own schedule. I do like advanced notice but as we begin to build a regular relationship I will be open to last minute requests. When I am in your home, my job and my focus will be your pet. I will asses their comfort and safety level with me, giving them space where needed but ensuring I know where they are and what they need at all times. Not only do I take any job I have seriously, these are not just animals but parts of your family, and I take as much care whether I was watching a human baby or a fur baby.
“We love Julia. She sent us many photos and videos of our elderly dog that really helped us feel comfortable with leaving her with Julia. Julia has a kind sweet nature and would make a perfect pet sitter for any dog. We are booking her again.”

“Bethany was fantastic! Very communicative and checked in with us throughout her stay. She sent lots of photos and clearly gave our dog lots of attention. She took great care of the house as well. We will definitely have her dog sit again!”

“Yessica is great! Takes amazing care of Gnocchi & gives him plenty of outings! Also, always leave our house in pristine condition! She sends lots of updates and photos, which I love!”

I will make sure your furry friend feels comfortable and safe. I am available weekdays in the early afternoon and some weekends. I have a full time job that finishes early in the day and need some extra income and something nice to do in my free time. About: Hello! I’ve been in the dog walking field / pet care for over a decade (new to Rover app) during my time living in nyc (offering services to clients under my own co. Zen Shepherd Nyc) and now recently acquainting myself with the LA pet life since moving here recently. I work well with dogs of all ages and love to spend time with them more than humans in general. People say I tend to have a calming effect on animals, and cats are drawn to me like magnets for some reason! I live in highland park and love being in nature and exploring all the urban wildlife / parks in the area. I am also a yoga instructor, artist, astrologer, book seller and somatic therapist. I work from home most of the time so boarding / pet sitting at my place is very convenient (and fun) for me! I can’t emphasize how much I love being in the presence of animals beyond all else including most humans. They are the real energy workers on this planet. I work mostly from home and have flexible hours so I can easily fit pet care and walks into my days on a weekly basis. I have a very pet friendly apartment complex, which is gated and walking distance to some great hikes, a lovely park and dog park! I am a quiet and respectful house guest, have house/pet sit in various homes in nyc and La for over a decade now.

“Cheslea was so amazing with our dog and just overall such a great person and vibe. We’ve been looking for someone like her for so long!! Very happy to find her!”

“Courtney is an outstanding dog professional, experienced, confident, reliable, honest, on time, and she has the greatest personality. We needed an experienced dog sitter & handler for our dog Chuck to sit for an entire day and evening at our house. Courtney turned out to be the perfect Rover-choice, in full agreement with her great reviews! Chuck is a three year old high energy working line sable German Shepherd police dog. He was born, raised, and trained in Germany. Courtney and Chuck quickly bonded. She quickly learned the few German commands needed for sitting and walking purpose. She also quickly learned about the personality and traits of a dog like Chuck from a write-up summary that we handed over. Courtney kept updating us during her sit, walk, play, and feeding. She also sent us pictures. Chuck clearly fell in love with Courtney. When she left he was whining and he did not want her to leave 😀. Courtney is simply the best of the best!”

“I highly recommend Casey. This last stay got off to a rough start because my air conditioning broke down the day before I left. I had to scramble to make some changes because neither Casey or my dog (also named Casey) could stay in the house with no AC. Casey went over and beyond, arranging to be here for two different appointments to repair the AC and going to pick up my dog where he was temporarily being boarded. She sent me loads of photos and videos and made me feel very reassured that my dog and the house were well cared for. I will definitely book her, again.”

“Denise is an incredible dog and housesitter. The dogs love her, the house is pristine, and she communicates daily with great pictures (some absolutely hilarious). She will continue to be our first choice as a petsitter. Can't recommend enough.”

About: If you’re looking for someone who absolutely adores animals AND is responsible/ reliable then I am your gal! I have a profound love and respect for any animal and would love to share my services/experience with you! I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was in diapers and have developed such a deep respect and love for any pet I’ve come across. I’ve had cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, you name it! I’ve raised the majority of them from their baby stage such as their puppy/kitten stage. I also have had the pleasure of giving them a beautiful life and led them into their senior stage. I also volunteer at cat shelters and have pet sat for friends and family members. I make it a priority to provide a safe and welcoming environment so any pet under my care can feel comfortable with me. I also love to play for whatever time your pet needs and give joy to every pet under my care. My past clients would describe me as very reliable, patient, warm, and very flexible and understanding of certain needs your pet may have. I understand every furry friend is unique and different from one another so any accommodation or request you may have, I am more than open to adjusting! I currently have three of my own. I have a husky, shih tzu and a Siamese cat! So I have a very broad experience with different sized pets and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. I have a very open and flexible schedule and I would love to provide my services to you! As I work with the local district, I have returned back to work for the fall semester. However, my work day ends at 3pm! So it still allows me to have a very open/flexible schedule. I can do weekdays after 3pm and weekends including holidays! I’m available from early noon to late at night. Weekends include anytime after 6pm. I have a gated porch with lots of room for play and a quiet calm neighborhood for long walks and quality time with your pet. I can also administer medication and crate or provide any instructions left by the owner.
“Hannah is such a reliable and kind animal-lover, I feel 100% confidence leaving my four cats in her care, even if three of them are kittens and it's a bit of a rambunctious household at the moment. She was super communicative and quick to respond. She also left the house possibly cleaner than I had left it, so that was supremely appreciated after returning home from a busines trip. I recommend her wholeheartedly and hope to be able to book her again for future trips!”

“Amazing ..I have a very difficult crew of pets- 3 dogs and a cat. One of which is a very high maintenance boarder collie. I was worried for Namie as I know how hard it is to keep my crew happy. Namie did it all! Took them to the park every day, and followed through on every task. She took such amazing care of my pets I knew they were so happy..Namie sent photos and updates daily. We were blessed to find such an amazing pet sitter she also took great care of our house…which was also difficult - the dogs she’d like crazy - so daily shedding on dark wood floors can be a pain ..the house was spotless…the roses alive and thriving in hot weather..Namie went above and beyond in every way! We are so grateful to Namie- to be able to take a vacation and not worry about our babies and to come home to a clean house and happy pups ..absolutely recommend Namie -I’d give her 100 stars!!!”

Emerald Isle pet parents share their Rover experiences
We’ve been utilizing Jennifer to housesit and watch our dogs while we’re out of town for years! Between a high energy German Shepard and fragile old Chihuahua mix, she manages to provide for both with ease and lots of love and they seem so happy and at peace when we return. Shes a great communicator and keeps our house looking just like we left it. I highly recommend Jennifer for any and all ages, breeds, needs.

Jennifer was amazing with our 4 month old pup! We had to travel last minute and she was able to sit for him in our home. She took the best care of him, sent us pictures and updates, and made our sweet boy even sweeter by the time we got back. So grateful to have found Jennifer and will have her over again and again!

Megan was great with our labradoodle Hunter. She was communicative from our first meeting to caring for our dog, including plenty of photos during their time. It's nice to have a reliable, friendly, trustworthy person available to care for our guy. Thanks Megan!

This is our second time booking Emily to dog/house sit while we're away on vacation, and we will continue to do so in the future. Our two dogs are special needs and require a lot of work, and Emily takes such great care of them. We're so glad we found someone who is reliable and caring. Thank you Emily!!!

As an owner of a breed (Belgian Malinois) that comes with a little higher attention and demand, it was such a relief to find Jarrod! He was incredibly attentive to our instructions, and was great with sharing updates while we were away. He took care of her and our home like they were his own, and as a result I felt like I could relax and not worry while away. Highly recommend!

Emily was wonderful! It’s very hard for me to find someone to watch my anxious dog, but she did great. She gave me a daily update and demonstrated confidence in all of the tasks I left documented. I will definitely book her again because she is reliable and did a wonderful job with my pup! Thank you, Emily!

We can’t say enough good things about Alex! He spent the weekend taking care of our crew, including our paralyzed dog Laika who requires special care. Alex approached everything with such a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. He was flexible when our return flight was delayed by several hours, which was a huge relief. He not only took wonderful care of our animals (who clearly loved having him around) but also went above and beyond in looking after our home, leaving it in better shape than when we left. The peace of mind we had knowing both our house and pets were in such capable hands was truly invaluable. We’re so grateful for Alex’s care and commitment, and we would 100% book with him again!

Chiara was absolutely amazing!!! She went out of here to make me feel comfortable and boy was I nervous. Her communication was excellent and she was super kind. One of my cats is super shy to the point it took him months to warm up to me but he warmed up really quickly with her. I would for sure use her services again when I go on vacation.

We went on an overseas trip without a care in the world thanks in large part to knowing that our two dogs and cat would be well taken care of. We arrived home to happy animals and a house as we left it. Marissa and Philipp are great housesitters and lovely people.
