I’m a 30y/o Los Angeles pet dad, looking for a nice side gig as well as a way to Connect & edify myself with pet-care & social skills going to forward. Primarily with the animals, yet as well built communicative skills with individuals. -Cheers, André. ✌🏽 Currently I am self-employed. Be that as it may, I have quite the open/flexible schedule. Adherence to any fitted schedule isn’t necessary. Unless communicated prior, scheduling shouldn’t ever be an issue of concern. I’ve been surrounded by, and lived with and have familial pets all throughout my life, but I’ve only recently become a pet father myself as of eight months ago. Actions I take in my home to cater to, and care for my pets include the following: -Thorough research on how to continue to better myself as a parent towards my pets. -Patience becoming more and more a virtue 😅 ha. -Repetition -Understanding Acts of discipline, or constructive experiences to better the bond between myself and my pets, are dismal. Redirection, and communication with the pets consistently build the bond. Consistent, and I mean consistent playtime, proper feeding schedule, toys…I’ve built quite the furniture shop for my cats. Lastly just love them, damn. 😁

Ive owned two very sweet pitbulls and grew up around dogs and cats my whole life. i currently live with my girlfriend and her two sweet cats. i have access to transportation and am very reliable and easy going. im a very loving and gentle person with a soft spot for animals, and id love to take great care of yours. I’m in college online so i have plenty of free time available, and i care for my girlfriends cats daily while she’s at work. =] i have experience with all breeds and temperaments, and can easily walk large, strong dogs. i trained and played with all the dogs in my house growing up and was trusted with my neighbor’s dogs and home often as a teenager.
About: I’ve been dog-sitting for 3 years, and honestly, I just really love dogs! 🐶 I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, with most of my experience being with bigger dogs. I’ve looked after two Huskies at once, a Standard Poodle, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, and senior dogs. I grew up with a Lhasa Apso and was lucky enough to care for him myself during his senior years, so I understand how much extra patience, love, and attention older pups can need. I’m also very active and genuinely love going for walks. I average at least 10,000 steps a day, so if your dog loves a good walk, we’re probably going to be best friends! I’m very comfortable staying in other people’s homes and actually enjoy helping dogs stay in the environment they know and love. My goal is to keep your pup happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine while you’re away. I’ll give them plenty of attention, exercise, cuddles, and, of course, lots of love! I work part time remotely with lots of flexibility and can bring my laptop anywhere. I don’t not have a partner or children so I can dedicated the proper time to looking after your pet! I will ensure that gates and doors are locked. The dog is on leash whenever we leave and to avoid other dogs and people if necessary. I will stick to your wishes on how you want your pet looked after.

It’s very clear that Heather loves animals, which I think is the most important quality in a sitter. She took great care of my dog and cat, and understood their quirks. She kept my plants alive, which isn’t easy in LA in the Summer. Heather understood and followed the (fairly complex) instructions I left about all my pets’ medication and preferences. She was responsive to my messages while I was out of town. When I returned home, my house was just as tidy as I left it, and Heather also gave me a helpful handoff message about the pets and laundry.
This was our first time leaving our 16 week old puppy Biggie and Ninon did an excellent job of taking care of him while we were away for the weekend. She’s very communicative and sent lots of texts and pics. She’s took Biggie on local adventures which we appreciated as we want to socialize him as much as possible. We have already rebooked her for an upcoming vacation.
We came home to a happy pup! We’ve had our dog, Ludo, for over a year and a half and haven't had to leave him for any significant amount of time. So you can imagine our hesitation leaving him for four days while we took a cross-country trip. Thankfully, we found Cody on Rover. He immediately put us at ease with his warm, welcoming demeanor. Ludo took to him instantly, sniffing him like an old friend—and if that isn't a seal of approval, I don't know what is! Cody was punctual and followed Ludo's routine to a T. He sent frequent photo updates that eased our anxiety about being away from him for an extended period. Cody kept our minds at ease and our pup wonderfully entertained. We’ve already decided to book him for all our future trips. If you're nervous about leaving your pet with someone new, you couldn't be in better hands than with Cody.
Dee was truly amazing! I swear he might actually be a dog whisperer. My dog Blossom absolutely loved him and was so happy and comfortable with him. He was incredibly communicative while I was away, and I felt completely comfortable and assured the entire time knowing my dog and my home were in such good hands. He sent thoughtful updates, was attentive to everything, and clearly cared about making sure Blossom was happy and well taken care of. He also took incredible care of my home and left it even better than he found it. It’s rare to find someone you feel this comfortable trusting with both your pet and your home. Dominique took great care of our dog and our home while we were away. We’re always a little nervous the first time our dog meets a sitter because she can be shy at first, and she’s reactive with other dogs, so it takes a calm and confident dog lover to make us all feel at ease. Dominique is fantastic! Kona felt comfortable with her very quickly. She asked great questions when we first met, making sure she understood Kona’s personality and routine. She sent us adorable updates throughout the stay, and we came home to a clean, tidy house and a happy dog. 10/10 recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Avery was absolutely wonderful with Max, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He took such thoughtful care of him while we were away — taking him on walks and hikes, playing his favorite game of fetch, and making sure he got plenty of attention and activity. What I appreciated most was how attentive Avery was to Max emotionally. Every day, he sent us updates about how Max was doing, including his mood, how he was adjusting, and how he was eating. Being away from Max for an extended period, those little details meant so much to us and really gave us peace of mind. Avery also went above and beyond by cleaning up our house before he left, which was such a thoughtful surprise to come home to. It was very clear that Avery genuinely cared about Max and took the time to understand his personality and make him feel comfortable and loved. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. We would absolutely trust Avery with Max again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and attentive sitter. Thank you so much, Avery! ❤️🐾
