“Probably the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! Both of my dogs seemed to absolutely love Sarah and her husband. She sent updates and photos every day and even taught them a new game! Never had to stress or worry about my kiddos when I was gone. I knew they were in excellent hands. Will 10000% book with her and her only! :D”

“Emilie is so kind and gentle with my pup. She’s also very conscientious, always confirming the appointments and showing up on time. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: Hello! I’ve been in the dog walking field / pet care for over a decade (new to Rover app) during my time living in nyc (offering services to clients under my own co. Zen Shepherd Nyc) and now recently acquainting myself with the LA pet life since moving here recently. I work well with dogs of all ages and love to spend time with them more than humans in general. People say I tend to have a calming effect on animals, and cats are drawn to me like magnets for some reason! I live in highland park and love being in nature and exploring all the urban wildlife / parks in the area. I am also a yoga instructor, artist, astrologer, book seller and somatic therapist. I work from home most of the time so boarding / pet sitting at my place is very convenient (and fun) for me! I can’t emphasize how much I love being in the presence of animals beyond all else including most humans. They are the real energy workers on this planet. I work mostly from home and have flexible hours so I can easily fit pet care and walks into my days on a weekly basis. I have a very pet friendly apartment complex, which is gated and walking distance to some great hikes, a lovely park and dog park! I am a quiet and respectful house guest, have house/pet sit in various homes in nyc and La for over a decade now.
About: If you’re looking for someone who absolutely adores animals AND is responsible/ reliable then I am your gal! I have a profound love and respect for any animal and would love to share my services/experience with you! I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was in diapers and have developed such a deep respect and love for any pet I’ve come across. I’ve had cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, you name it! I’ve raised the majority of them from their baby stage such as their puppy/kitten stage. I also have had the pleasure of giving them a beautiful life and led them into their senior stage. I also volunteer at cat shelters and have pet sat for friends and family members. I make it a priority to provide a safe and welcoming environment so any pet under my care can feel comfortable with me. I also love to play for whatever time your pet needs and give joy to every pet under my care. My past clients would describe me as very reliable, patient, warm, and very flexible and understanding of certain needs your pet may have. I understand every furry friend is unique and different from one another so any accommodation or request you may have, I am more than open to adjusting! I currently have three of my own. I have a husky, shih tzu and a Siamese cat! So I have a very broad experience with different sized pets and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. I have a very open and flexible schedule and I would love to provide my services to you! As I work with the local district, I have returned back to work for the fall semester. However, my work day ends at 3pm! So it still allows me to have a very open/flexible schedule. I can do weekdays after 3pm and weekends including holidays! I’m available from early noon to late at night. Weekends include anytime after 6pm. I have a gated porch with lots of room for play and a quiet calm neighborhood for long walks and quality time with your pet. I can also administer medication and crate or provide any instructions left by the owner.
“Danielle was a great sitter! She was very easy to communicate with, and sent us consistent updates about how our dog was doing. She also left the house in great shape, a plus! Would definitely recommend Danielle.”

“Dominique did a great job watching my four big dogs. She kept us informed by sending pics on a daily basis. We kept in touch everyday via texting. My dogs in general are good pups but four big dogs are a challenge. Dominique handled herself well! She loves dogs and I recommend her for sitting with big dogs!”

“Kelsey was fantastic! She was incredibly patient with our shy little ones until they were sleeping with her (!), and sent photos of their walks, etc., which we thoroughly enjoyed. She was so thoughtful in general, not to mention responsible, warm and friendly!”

“Amanda was a great, communicative, thoughtful sitter for my 18 month old pup! Went out of her way to offer to apply my guy's nightly ear drops, sent me photos of him looking happy and playful. Thanks Amanda!”

I will make sure your furry friend feels comfortable and safe. I am available weekdays in the early afternoon and some weekends. I always care for clients pets based off of information I gather ahead of time about the pet as well as visual cues that the pet is signaling. My approach is always observant, calm and respectful of the pet’s needs.
“Naomi was such a fantastic dog sitter! She sent us a series of pictures of our dogs each day, and it was clear that our pups became quick fans of her. They are older, somewhat grumpy dogs, but they cuddled with her throughout her stay which shows that she developed a trusting relationship with them. Being older dogs, they also have medication that needs to be administered regularly. Naomi was very attentive to their medical needs, and kept them happy and healthy while we were away! Lastly, since we have senior dogs that have a strict routine, we asked Naomi to stay at our house with them for the week we’re were out of town, and she did a great job taking care of the house as well. At the end of her stay she went above and beyond by washing the linens she used and even painted us a beautiful keychain with our dogs on it. We will certainly use her again in the future!”

“Christopher and his wife were absolutely amazing with our two dogs, Tofu and Turbo, during their nearly three-week stay. They went above and beyond, even caring for our dogs during the challenging LA fires, ensuring they were safe and well taken care of. We were so impressed by their attentiveness, kindness, and the love they showed our pups. It gave us great peace of mind to know Tofu and Turbo were in such capable hands. Highly recommend!”

There is a reason why Rachael has 5stars. I'm so grateful I found her. I have a trauma rescue baby who has his "moods" with being a little barkey and bitey, while at the same time being lovable and hilarious. Rachael gets him; she understands him, and she is gentle and patient, not offended if he tries to nip at her. He LOVES her. She just spent the weekend with him at my place, so I could get away for the first time without him, and everything was perfect when I arrived back home. The detailed updates while I was gone were AMAZING. I had zero anxiety while I was gone. Thank you, Rachael!

We’ve been utilizing Jennifer to housesit and watch our dogs while we’re out of town for years! Between a high energy German Shepard and fragile old Chihuahua mix, she manages to provide for both with ease and lots of love and they seem so happy and at peace when we return. Shes a great communicator and keeps our house looking just like we left it. I highly recommend Jennifer for any and all ages, breeds, needs.

Morgan was absolutely amazing with our pets. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She really went above and beyond for both our dog and cat. Our dog can be pretty anxious, and Morgan was so patient and attentive, making sure he felt comfortable and had company. She also handled daily medication with ease, which we really appreciated. On top of that, we came home to a house that was somehow even cleaner than when we left. That level of care and thoughtfulness does not go unnoticed. We would 100% book Morgan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring.

We are so lucky to have found Beta!! They were able to make a connection with our anxious pup right away and totally put us at ease. They were kind, communicative, and left our apartment in perfect condition. Through the pictures Beta sent, we could tell that our pup was well taken care of and happy. We look forward to working with Beta again and wholeheartedly recommend them!!

Megan was great with our labradoodle Hunter. She was communicative from our first meeting to caring for our dog, including plenty of photos during their time. It's nice to have a reliable, friendly, trustworthy person available to care for our guy. Thanks Megan!
