About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Starting with having a few dogs as pets growing up, I learned to care for them and train them. I then started working with dogs at a grooming salon. I was working as a bather for about 3 years before I acquired a position as a dog handler in a boarding facility where I learned how to do Obedience Training and I never let go of that specific field. I continue to work in Dog handling and provide care in several aspects of a dog’s health. About: I've loved cats since I was a little kid, but since I grew up in a house full of 3 dogs, I was only able to spend time with them at friends and family friends' houses. In college, however, I've had the opportunity to foster cats, which has been an incredible experience. I took care of a brother-sister duo for 6 months, having them from the time they were 4 weeks, and having to deal with all quarantine protocols and the occasional vet visit. After obtaining ringworm from the shelter they came from, my roommates and I took did all the necessary protocols to bring them back to full health, including giving them oral injections and pills every day, as well as topical creams. We also took care of them after their spay/neuter process, so I'm no stranger to kitties with cones or who need medicine. I also had the opportunity to foster a litter of 6 baby kittens, all of whom we had to bottle feed and give constant attention to. Despite not having cats growing up, I feel very knowledgeable and responsible in my abilities as a cat caretaker.

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.

About: Hi, my name is Angie! I love animals like my blood relatives and I would love to be your next fur baby caretaker! I've lived in a house with 3 dogs for my entire life, and love to play, walk, relax, and explore with them. Since I was 8 I've been actively taking care of pups (feeding, walking, bathing, grooming, and cleaning up after them), so I'm definitely confident with taking care of dogs. My earliest memories were with a Husky, Doberman mix, and Super-mutt, and then I grew up with my GSP, Australian Shepherd, and Chi-Poo (who is now the happiest 14-year-old old lady). In college I also fostered cats – a sibling duo I took care of for 6 months, as well as a litter of 6 kittens – so I love to be with both dogs and cats alike, and know how to take care of both sweet creatures :) I'm available for dog walking, dog sitting, or cat sitting, and have availability throughout the week (with only Sunday afternoons fully blocked off). I can take care of small and big dogs alike, and love to be active – so no amount of energy is too much for me! I have taken care of dogs from 6 weeks to 14 years, and cats from 2 weeks to 6 years old. About: I’ve been fortunate to grow up with animals most of my life and lucky enough to continue having little fur companions in the home through roommates. About: Hello! In 2017 I met my first friendly street cat which sent me on a journey from “strict dog person” to “cat lady.” I have since adopted two cats, Bean and Raisin, and fostered more than a dozen adult cats and kittens. I also work closely with an organization doing TNR in my community--trapping neighborhood cats and spay/neutering them. I have a 2nd bedroom that I use as both my office and cat zone with toys if your cat needs his/her own space but am also a friendly home for a rambunctious cat. Bean is very passive and chill, while Raisin just wants to make friends and play. I’m a trusted cat mom and foster mom and will cuddle your fur babies just like you would if you were home with them! I know how important it is to a pet parent's peace of mind while away from their animal to know how they're doing so I always make sure I send pictures and regular updates. Please note that due to my cats, I only board other cats in my home—no dogs. And I only board one client at a time. Rover doesn't give the opportunity to specify this. I can do drop ins for other animals in your home no problem! I work from home and can occasionally have period of hiatus from work with lots of free time to dedicate to doing drop ins and being there for any boarding guests. I am very strict about indoors only for cats given my history with TNR. Also because I'm an experienced trapper, if somehow your cat escapes my care, I have the skills and equipment and knowledge to get them back for you. I don't leave boarding guests alone with my cats without supervision, even when sleeping, unless enough time has passed that I can trust them all together.

“I have a 2.5 year old male Boston Terrier that I needed last second boarding for 4 nights. My friend was to keep him while I was gone but had a medical emergency and had to back out at the last second. I messaged Therese & a couple of other people. Trey and Lola seemed to be fast friends and were "patrolling" the (gated) back yard together when I arrived to pick her up. They treated Lola like family and ensured that Lola got her AM/PM medications. They even sent her home with an adorable little report card that I hung up on the fridge because it sparks joy.
