“Wonderful, took loving care of our dog - sent pictures and updates daily; answered questions immediately; our dog took to her right away. Upon picking him up, you could tell her was well-cared for during his stay with her. We would/will use her again to look after our dog in a heartbeat. Awesome!”

“Wonderful dog loving family that took excellent care of my 2 dogs (Shiba and Cavalier King Charles) while I was away for 2 weeks. The dogs felt right at home, received lots of affection, and I received pics throughout their stay. Will definitely leave my dogs in their care again!”

“We live several hours away and needed someone to watch our pup while we went on a cruise. I searched for someone and found Yulia! She had experience with dogs, she has no dogs, she takes one client at a time plus dogs are allowed on the bed. PERFECT 👌 Yulia knew how hard it was for me to leave Taco. His first time. She sent photos right away! She let me know how he was feeling and how he did throughout the day and night. We had awesome communication during his stay plus photos and videos. They truly helped me. He went on long walks and received a lot of loving from both Julia and her husband. Mr. Taco also learned a new trick!! She taught him to lay down! I'm truly thankful and grateful to have found Yulia. I hope she's available when I need her next! I may change my schedule to fit hers! Warm hugs. ❤️”

“Another amazing boarding for my dog Eve. Irina is always so good with her and makes her feel so at home. I'm always at ease when I have to go away. Thanks once again!”

About: I've been pet sitting for 20 years. Neighbors, friends & family have relied on me to walk, feed & bathe their pets. I adore all animals and would love to care for your fur baby. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy to care for your pets when you need me. I am always on time and communicate often. I will follow your instructions on how to care for your baby in your home. I can even send photos and keep you updated throughout the day. (I should mention that I am also a professional pet photographer!)
“Angelica and her daughter are so wonderful! My Brownie apparently was so well behaved but I thank that in part to her being kept so busy 😆 They had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She gave me photo updates of Brownie so I can rest assured. They did everything that was asked for her routine and lots of love and attention. I highly reccommed her services. Thank you so much again. Definitely will be back.”

“Adrienne and Mike were a great team in caring for Sadie, our 14 pound 7 year old cockapoo. Sadie is a bit timid and has only stayed with one previous caregiver. So a 16 day stay was a concern as Sadie is very attached to her two human parents. Adrienne and Mike helped prepare Sadie to know we would be coming back for her by offering two complimentary stay overs, 2 hours each, for Sadie to get used to them and their home and to know we would be coming back to pick her up. Sadie has always been hand fed and Adrienne had no problem in realizing that on her own and accomodating Sadie's special need. In interviewing different care givers we found that not all caregivers let you see the actual inside of the home where their pup will be staying. But this was no problem for Adrienne and Mike. We also liked that they were a 2 person team so if one of them came down ill, there would always be a back-up. We definately recommend this two person team to others. Thank you Adrienne and Mike !”

“Dan was fantastic with Nancy. I was nervous about her staying with other dogs but he is seasoned and has the feeding already worked out. She had a blast and came home happy. Will definitely book with Dan again!”
“Greg was amazing. He genuinely loves dogs💕. Was wonderful with our precocious 5 month basset hound. He updated me with pictures and status. I cannot recommend him enough.”

“Daria did a fantastic job with lupo! She was very gentle, patient, and understanding. Lupo tends to get a bit nervous with new people/environments but Daria did a great job making him feel comfortable and providing good care. She also is very responsive and communicates in a timely manner. Will for sure book her again!”

“Corrina was great to work with and very responsive! She made our pup feel right at home and sent us updates and photos. We could tell he was happy and relaxed when we picked him up! Great experience all around.”

“Kimberly was absolutely amazing! My dog loved her and her dogs and took to her place immediately. Kimberly was prompt, responsive, and took plenty of pictures so show how my Bella was doing! I would use her anytime and would recommend her to anyone :)”

“Cecilia took an amazing care of my little girl for three weeks. Cecilia sent us daily pictures and followed all of our instructions/requests thoroughly. My puppy obviously loves her as well. Would highly recommend Cecilia as a pet sitter and would definitely go back to her for any future boarding requests. Thank you so much💗💗”

About: I've loved cats since I was a little kid, but since I grew up in a house full of 3 dogs, I was only able to spend time with them at friends and family friends' houses. In college, however, I've had the opportunity to foster cats, which has been an incredible experience. I took care of a brother-sister duo for 6 months, having them from the time they were 4 weeks, and having to deal with all quarantine protocols and the occasional vet visit. After obtaining ringworm from the shelter they came from, my roommates and I took did all the necessary protocols to bring them back to full health, including giving them oral injections and pills every day, as well as topical creams. We also took care of them after their spay/neuter process, so I'm no stranger to kitties with cones or who need medicine. I also had the opportunity to foster a litter of 6 baby kittens, all of whom we had to bottle feed and give constant attention to. Despite not having cats growing up, I feel very knowledgeable and responsible in my abilities as a cat caretaker.

“Sara was on time & super responsive the entire time. She took the cutest photos of our cats and even was able to get close to our less social one, who is typically scared of strangers. Definitely recommend booking.”

“Lindsay was amazing! I was apprehensive about leaving my senior kitty for a week, but as soon as I met Lindsay I knew she would be in very capable and caring hands. The whole time we were gone, Lindsay went above and beyond and was very communicative, which gave me great peace of mind. We returned home to a happy, healthy kitty. Thank you Lindsay!”

“Pixie has helped me twice now with last second trips / bookings due to family emergencies. Her care and attention to detail is amazing. My cats adore her. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Pixie - as someone with chronic illness too - you have been so helpful!”

“Beta looked after our two cats while we were away and kept in touch with daily updates. They were easy to communicate with and made sure all the basics were taken care of. We appreciated their consistency and felt comfortable knowing the cats were being checked in on each day.”

“Aksana did a great job looking after my kitties! she was very communicative and followed the directions I gave to a tee! I definitely will be rebooking in the future any time I need a sitter.”

“This is the second weekend Sydney has done drop-in visits for my cat and she is wonderful. Her visit recaps and pictures are always detailed and make me feel happy to read/see when I’m missing my kitty. My cat loves her, and she doesn’t warm up to everyone, so I will absolutely have Sydney watch her again!”

“Traci took amazing care of our two cats during a 10 day trip. It was the longest we’ve been away, and Traci has looked after them before so we were happy to book her again for our wedding/honeymoon. She was detailed in her Rover notes about feedings, medicine, mood, and playtime. We were able to rest easy on our trip knowing they were safe, healthy and happy. Thank you Traci!!!”

“Lorraine is wonderful and sent great update pics and notes! It’s clear she really loves the dogs and wants to give them a great day. Will definitely be working with her again!”

About: I've had cats all my life. I've fostered a lot of kittens, which is how I got my tuxedo siblings Scotty and Star in 2015. Scotty passed away last year from kidney disease, and although Star is still with me (and thriving!), I truly love cats and am always looking to make new furry friends.

“Irina was so sweet and accommodating! She sent multiple pictures and regular updates. I was nervous to leave my kitten and she made him feel right at home. Will definitely hire her again!”

About: My dream job would be to be around cats all day if I could. I have experience caring for cats overnight, feeding, cleaning, and keeping general company. I have a great understanding of how cats tick and how to know what their body language/ behavior can be telling us. Although I am extremely comfortable around cats, my approach is friendly but always cautious and respectful. I am the go-to cat sitter for my friends going on trips and have been around cats my whole life.

“Jane is super top notch!!! I can’t recommend her enough. It can be a little nerve-wracking to be out of the country for over a week, however my mind was at ease regarding my pets and my home. Jane was very consistent with her high-quality care and communication, with regular updates that didn’t leave anything up to assumption. I always knew what was getting done, with any questions or concerns being quickly addressed. Jane spent extra time playing with our 4-month old kitten who was alone at home for the first time. The amount of thought and care she put in was extremely evident and appreciated. Her demeanor was always calm, easy-going, friendly, and to-the-point. She went above and beyond. Don’t think twice about hiring Jane to keep your loved ones happy and safe!”

“Matthew is incredible! Perfect for big dog owners! We have a dog with a lot of quirks and he had no problem working with them. I was so comfortable knowing he was taking care of my babies!”

About: I’ve taken care of friends and clients pets, feeding and walking them when they are out of town. I give them the attention they need and deserve while their owners are out. At the client's home, I make sure all the doors and gates are closed. I care for your pets like my own, and I know how important they are to people.

“I cannot recommend Alina enough. I am a first time cat mama, and this was my first time leaving her for a long vacation. By the end of the first visit, I knew Luna was in great hands and that she would be well taken care of while I was away. Alina was fantastic with providing detailed updates, and also provided plenty of photos of her time with Luna. I will definitely be rebooking with Alina whenever I am away.”

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available for home visits, walks throughout the day, boarding, and/or pet sitting any day of the week. I live in a residential neighborhood in the Somerset section of Glendale, perfect for walks. My apartment is a large one-bedroom I share with my cat Star, who is very affectionate and easy-going - she'd love to keep your pet company!

“Margarita was a great sitter for our puppy onyx. Friendly and very communicative; sending us text updates with photos. We’ll be happy to book her again. Definitely recommend her.”

“Magdalena is an exceptional doggie dare care provider. I reached out to her because my office is requiring that I now come in after 4 years of work from home. I was nervous that my 10-year-old corgi with various health issues would not be enthused about the change, but he LOVES going to Magdalena's house where he is showered with affection all day long. Magdalena sends pictures and videos and updates throughout the day, and my little guy looks ecstatically happy. She is truly the best. I highly recommend her.”

“Margaret to excellent care of Snowflake. She even taught us some helpful tips for our pup and sent us off with a genius training tool! Honestly, we are so happy we found her!”

“Jonalyn was fantastic with my dog! She sent so many photos and kept Mocha busy and got her tired, which is hard to do. Mocha is usually nervously reluctant to separate from me, but every time we went to Jonalyn's, she got so excited. Definitely booking again!”

“Kimberley is very professional and kind. She gave us frequent updates on our dog and walked him multiple times a day. She sent many pictures. Felt very safe having our pup cared by her. Also allowed flexible drop off and pick up. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up in a home with a dog, a cat, birds, fish, and rabbits. Throughout my life, I’ve opened my heart to many a pooch, including a beautiful epileptic Dalmation, a feisty pocket Shih Tzu (that one of my students brought to school in a backpack), an adorably lazy Bijon-Maltese mix who came to stay for a weekend and stayed 10 years -- and most recently a spirited 13 year old Terrier mix that we brought home after his person died unexpectedly. All were loved and doted upon until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The smaller ones vacationed by car, truck, and plane and were with us 24/7. I’ve often cared for my friends' dogs and am known for giving good doggy massages. I’ve also shared my space with an African Sulcata tortoise for the last 17 years. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I own a small business that allows me to come and go easily, allowing for long walks and/or lounging around. I have a fenced yard, leashes, bowls, a medium sized dog crate if necessary, lots of healthy snacks and lots of time for walks and doggie massages. In your home, I will care for your special friend as instructed. If your pooch loves toys, we will play, if snoozing is their favorite thing, I will happily sit nearby and chill too.
“Therese is AMAZING! She takes such good care of our high energy dog and is extremely communicative with us. She goes above and beyond every time. I truly wouldn’t want to trust my pup with anyone else!”

About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.
“Frances was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I was a little worried leaving my fur baby since it’s his first time with a sitter, and he was a lil anxious when we dropped him off but had a great time with Frances. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day, and the picture qualities were also amazing! My puppy looked so happy and comfortable! He came home pooped and I’m so happy he got along with Frances and her boys! I will definitely use Frances again next time I need a sitter!”

“Cecilia is wonderful and did a great job dog sitting our French Bulldog in DTLA. She is very responsive, helpful, kind and even sent us pictures of our dog. We had peace of mind knowing our dog was in her care.”

“My puppy Goose always has such a fun time with Jennifer and her daughter! He always gets so excited whenever we drop him off and he is happy as a clam when we pick him up. We would recommend her to any pet parent!”

About: What sets me apart is how deeply I tune into each pet. I'm an empathetic and thoughtful caregiver — I read the subtle cues and anticipate what a dog needs before they have to ask. I genuinely care for every pet as if they were my own. I also have hands-on experience with: • Puppies (patience, potty training, basic commands) • Senior pets (gentle handling, mobility support, medication routines) • Basic training reinforcement After decades of pet sitting on the side and loving every minute, I've learned that the little things — a calm voice, a predictable routine, noticing when something feels off — make all the difference. Pet care is my full-time focus. My daily routine revolves entirely around the pets I'm caring for. A typical day starts early — morning walks, feeding, and medication if needed. Throughout the day, I schedule playtime and rest according to each pet's rhythm. Evenings are for settling everyone in, sending updates to owners, and prepping for the next day. Because this is my only job, I'm fully present; No juggling meetings or rushing off to a desk. Your pet gets my complete attention. I care for pets in my own home. I've created a calm, pet-friendly space where dogs feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Here's what that looks like: • My home is clean, secure, and set up with pets in mind (no hazards, plenty of cozy spots) • I follow your pet's regular schedule — feeding, walks, potty breaks, medication, and rest • I only take a small number of pets at a time, so each one gets individual attention • I send daily photos and updates so you can see exactly how they're doing For safety, I'm careful about introductions between pets, keep the environment calm, and never leave pets unsupervised in risky situations. Your pet's well-being is my full-time focus.

About: Hi, my name is Angie! I love animals like my blood relatives and I would love to be your next fur baby caretaker! I've lived in a house with 3 dogs for my entire life, and love to play, walk, relax, and explore with them. Since I was 8 I've been actively taking care of pups (feeding, walking, bathing, grooming, and cleaning up after them), so I'm definitely confident with taking care of dogs. My earliest memories were with a Husky, Doberman mix, and Super-mutt, and then I grew up with my GSP, Australian Shepherd, and Chi-Poo (who is now the happiest 14-year-old old lady). In college I also fostered cats – a sibling duo I took care of for 6 months, as well as a litter of 6 kittens – so I love to be with both dogs and cats alike, and know how to take care of both sweet creatures :) I'm available for dog walking, dog sitting, or cat sitting, and have availability throughout the week (with only Sunday afternoons fully blocked off). I can take care of small and big dogs alike, and love to be active – so no amount of energy is too much for me! I have taken care of dogs from 6 weeks to 14 years, and cats from 2 weeks to 6 years old. I just graduated from USC, and I'm very responsible and know how to look after and take care of our precious pets. Feel free to reach out today with any questions about future care, and I look forward to becoming your pet's best friend! I'm free for walking throughout the week, and am very flexible with my work schedule since I'm a figure skating teacher. Sundays I am unavailable from 11AM-4PM, but I am otherwise available to take care of your pets or board for a period of time. I have lots of toys, treats, and love to give, and having experience with both old and young pets, I adapt to energy levels very quickly and know how to build connections and trust with animals. I am very clean and responsible, and if any mess is made I clean it right up. I can find a way to make even the smallest space a wonderland for pets, and am confident that I can keep them entertained until their humans return.
“Brandi was great with our wild pup! She was always on time and super communicative. She even got some great photos of my dog enjoying her walks. Since it was my first time leaving my dog during the work day, I was nervous she would be crazy but Brandi’s walks helped to keep her happy. I highly recommend Brandi for your pet walking needs!!”

“Isabel is excellent! She’s punctual, is a great communicator, and is very natural with dogs. She observed a lot of things about my dogs temperament that I really appreciated . She has also done dog sitting in my home and is very trustworthy.”

“Pia was amazing. Timely responses and asked all of the right questions before we set up the walk. Took amazing care of my dog. I would highly recommend Pia to anyone!”

About: Hi, my name is Sophie! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, working with small and large breeds of all ages — from playful puppies to calm seniors. I’ve successfully handled untrained dogs and sick dogs as well. I am capable of following dietary guidelines and physical requirements your pet might require. I’m great at reading their moods and energy, so they always feel safe and comfortable. Animals truly are my safe place and I promise to provide the up most care and attention to your furry friend. I’m currently in LA with a completely open summer schedule, so I can give your pet my full attention whenever you need me. I’m completely available Monday through Saturday with flexible times. I’m not working this summer, so I can easily help with walks and drop-in visits around your schedule. I care for pets in your home so they stay in their familiar environment. For walks and check-ins I’ll come to you, keep your place exactly how I found it, and send updates and photos every visit so you always know your dog is safe and happy.

“Traci was amazing. She went above and beyond to make my pups feel comfortable with her. My guys are really big and can be intimidating but they are really the sweetest things. This is our first time having Traci walk them, but we will definitely be calling her again. They were still tired from their walk with her when we got back home.”
“Prompt, on time and dedicated to the best for your pup. Took great care of our senior dog and without being able to meet in advance to discuss her idiosyncrasies. He goes the extra mile for you and your pet.”

“My dogs and I LOVED having Ali dropping in for walks. She's responsive, kind, and always on time. I knew my dogs were safe and happy with her, and she was very sweet about their quirks and needs. Thank you again so much!!”

“Matthew is great with the dogs and we are happy we found him! Plus the dogs are quite enamored. Billie loves to watch him leave through the dining room window after each walk.”

“i had to leave my little guy for an extended time and while i felt worried about it, when i got back my fears werre 100% put to rest. he was so comfortable and happy when i returned from my trip. it was clear that Mandy had taken incredible care of him and gave him even more attention and love than was required. Mandy is a considerate, kind, and wonderful caretaker that i would highly recommend to anyone who wasnt the very best care for their pup.”

“Wonderful dog loving family that took excellent care of my 2 dogs (Shiba and Cavalier King Charles) while I was away for 2 weeks. The dogs felt right at home, received lots of affection, and I received pics throughout their stay. Will definitely leave my dogs in their care again!”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life -- I grew up with dogs, have had two dogs as an adult, have fostered 10 or so dogs, and dogsit for friends all the time. I even have a god-dog. I love caring for cats as well, and snakes and other reptiles. I'm very intuitive with animals and will attune to your pet's needs fully. I take their inner worlds seriously and do as much as I can to give them fun, safety, and comfort. My work hours are flexible and mostly from home, so I can work around your pet's needs. I'm happy to provide drop-ins and walks mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m happy to play with your dog, provide treats and belly rubs, walks long or short, and crate them if you’d like. I'm now taking select boarding clients as well!
“Bianca did a great job watching our dog Greg. The communication was great throughout and there were lots of updates. I’m so glad our pups got along well and Greg was well taken care of.”

“Loved Therese! She has a great space and sent plenty of photos of my pup playing with lots of other dogs, so it's clear many pet parents feel safe with their dogs in her hands. It's clear he had a great time. I'd absolutely book Therese again!”

“Josie is amazing! My pup had a great time with her while I was away on vacation. I think he had a better time than I did! Josie is very responsive and sends daily updates with the best photos. I will definitely rebook with Josie again.”

“Cynthia took such good care of Wanda. Our dog is very people-focused and bonds with her caregivers. We are very grateful that Cynthia is so warm and easy going. We felt very comfortable leaving Wanda in her care.”

“I loved all of the photos and updates Yvonne sent throughout my dog’s stay with her. It is apparent she loves the dogs she cares for as her own! He was so happy with her and all of her pups.”

“Margaret is absolutely wonderful! Our pup Riggy had the best time with her — she loved playing in Margaret’s big outdoor yard and came home so happy (and tired!). Margaret kept us updated with lots of adorable photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. As an extra sweet surprise, Riggy even came home with a new toy that she hasn’t put down since. 🐾💖 We can’t recommend Margaret enough — she truly goes above and beyond!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sevan and his wife. From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond to alleviate my worries and care for my dog, who has significant separation anxiety. Their compassion, patience, and attentiveness are unmatched. When I arrived for pickup (after my late night concert at the Greek theatre), my dog was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for—which is such a relief and comfort to me. They kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos, so I never had to worry and could fully enjoy my show stress-free. It’s obvious they truly love animals and treat my dog as if he was their own. The level of trust and peace of mind they provide is priceless!! If you are looking for someone who is not just a sitter, but a genuine, caring companion for your pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Sevan. He has been a blessing to both me and my dog, and I am so grateful for his kindness and dedication. Next time I need a dog sitter in LA, I will hands down use Sevan again!”

“Kim is our favorite sitter and might literally be the best sitter out there. She really goes above and beyond to ensure that our Mochi girl is comfortable and well-tended to. She always sends fun updates and photos which helps with OUR separation anxiety when we’re away.”

“Brooke and her partner, Ryan are *exceptional* sitters. They are sensitive, thoughtful, mature, patient and intelligent people who are communicative, clear and trustworthy. I've met some really ill equipped people on Rover.com but Brooke and Ryan are true gems I couldn't recommend more highly. When we got our precious dog back, he was calm and regulated- Brooke and Ryan are a blessing! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“Gus had a great vacation with Loretta and her family, he was very comfortable there. Loretta provided daily photos of Gus eating, walking and sleeping and was easy to communicate with.”

“Stephanie was such an attentive and caring pet sitter to our 12 year old terrier. She was diligent with his special food plan and medicines and made us feel secure in having our dear dog out of sight for 5 days. Charmander had a great time staying over and will be back again for a slumber party soon!”

“Victoria was amazing. She was very communicative and sent the best pics and videos. My pup returned happy, healthy, and tired from playing with her new friend. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We had a great experience boarding our dog Roxy with Miry. Roxy loved exploring the big backyard and got a nice long walk. She was very calm and happy when we picked her up. Communication and drop off/pickup with Miry was smooth. Will definitely be booking again soon.”
