“Might as well also be a goat sitter because she's the GOAT cat sitter. We've used her many times and she's always a rock star. Very thorough and thoughtful messages and tons of photos of the babies. Our one day had a cone this time and she was very good about that.”

“Brandi was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and our kitties’ first time meeting someone new without us so they were super shy but she was very patient with them and always prioritized their comfort. She was always on time, had great communication, and send pictures. Would absolutely book her again!”

About: ***UPDATE! Opening my profile up to new clients again after about a year, as I have some openings! Feel free to reach out with inquiries!*** I have had dogs my entire life, and what can I say — I just love them. I have cared for dogs for 20 years, and even spent a few years training dogs at the American Kennel Club (AKC). I rescued my own pup nearly 10 years ago, and rescued my cat ~5 years ago now-- and have since been equally obsessed with felines. They’re incredibly different animals, with their own way of looking at the world, both of which I respect. Over the years, I have walked and cared for many family's, friends’ and colleagues' dogs and cats of all ages, before opening my network to my neighborhood. ***Key Notes: - Currently, I am open for dog walking and dog/cat drop-ins. Please see all service options (including add-ons) in my profile and feel free to reach out with questions! - For 60-minute walks, depending on location, weather and your comfort level, I can take your pup(s) for a hike or trail-run nearby! - I have a range of experience, from energetic and exercise-craving dogs to elderly pups who require gentle care and a patient, slower speed. I love providing care for either side of the spectrum, and all in between. The bottom line is: the safety of your dog/dogs is my top priority. I know how it is. I’ve used Rover and other services for my dog and cat, and I understand how it feels to entrust another person with your fur-kiddo. I am patient and will give you whatever you need to feel comfortable with me as a caregiver — from answering questions, to a meet-and-greet (in person or on zoom), to picture updates all along the way. Every dog and cat is different, and I want to know what makes your beloved pet unique so I can provide him/her with the best care. I’m a good communicator — from medications to leash/sidewalk politics to triggers and everything in between, you can rest assured we will be on the same page. I have experience caring for all shapes and sizes: - Chihuahuas and Terriers (my dog Jack is a mix!) - Bernese Mountain Dogs - Border Collie Mixes - Shepherds - Staffy’s - Golden Retrievers - Shelties - Samoyeds - King Charles - Schnauzers - Norwegian Forest Cats - Tabbies I am happy to take on puppies/kittens and can integrate any training you might be working on with your fur-kiddo. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate most walks and drop-ins depending on your needs. Just shoot me a request and I’ll get back to you right away. I treat everyone’s home with the same respect I expect at my own. I also take privacy very seriously. I am always happy to do meet-and-greets at a public park (or similar) before services. Again, I get it — you're trusting someone new in your home and with your animals. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible!
“Eliana, once again, took great care of Bella. She was also super responsive when I had to contact her over a mix up with someone else getting access to the house.”
“Sarah and David are wonderful! They took great care of our cats and of our house. We have a special needs cat who needs a little extra attention, and they did everything to a T. Highly recommend.”

“Lindsay did an incredible job taking care of my kitten while I was home for the holidays. She sent me amazing updates and photos, which really eased my anxiety about leaving my cat alone.”

“Mike was very professional and kind, and he was a great caretaker for my cat! He sent reports on the check-ins and daily photos, which both put me at ease as someone who hasn't used an outside caregiver before. I would certainly recommend Mike to others and will seek out his services again for future trips!”

“Sorn did a great job looking after Marx while we were away! She sent plenty of photos and videos that were reassured us that he was well taken care of. Thank you Sorn!”

“Sean is an excellent choice for a pet sitter. He took care of my cat for 10-days. Before I left on my vacation I met with Sean and felt confident that I made the right choice. He is professional, yet very warm and compassionate; the perfect combination for the job. My cat can be a bit stand off-ish but over the course of the ten days you could see the cat's attitude change in the pics we received. For example, in the first few pics you could barely see the cat, but by the end, you could see that she was right at Sean's feet, looking up at him. I even think she misses him now that we are home!”

“Sara is the best!!! She is such a thoughtful and considerate cat sitter. Our foster cats have opened up even more under her care while we're out of town. It's comforting to know they have someone so loving with great attention to detail looking after them. Thank you Sara!”

“Kendi is a very thoughtful and reliable cat sitter. She has taken great care of my senior cat on multiple occasions and I will continue to hire her whenever she’s available.”

“Charmaine did such a wonderful job with our very shy scaredy cat, Leo!!! She is so patient and gentle that he came to really feel safe and comfortable with her. He usually hides from people, but he trusts her and would spend lots of time cuddling with her. This is our second time booking with Charmaine and I’m so glad we did. Leo loves her!!!”

“Alexandra is an AMAZING soul full of happy energy, kind, loving, with a spunky personality. I recommend her for your furry friends. It was nice meeting you ?”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - College Hills
Alina was available for a last-minute visit with my dog. I was already out of town, so we didn't have a chance for a meet & greet and for me to show her where things were in the house. I was impressed by her willingness to go into a new environment, find everything, and get my dog walked and fed. Alina seems very responsible and trustworthy and I would certainly hire her again.

The kitties were well fed and hydrated. The litter boxes were clean (minus the recent dumps the cat took after Nyssa left but that is nothing on her) and the house looked to be in good shape even though we could have left it cleaner. I'll be booking with Nyssa again.
