“Might as well also be a goat sitter because she's the GOAT cat sitter. We've used her many times and she's always a rock star. Very thorough and thoughtful messages and tons of photos of the babies. Our one day had a cone this time and she was very good about that.”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for pets. I have always had pets in my home and understand the love, patience, and responsibility they need. My friends and family often trust me to help care for their pets when they are away. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a flexible schedule and can make time for pet care. I enjoy spending time with animals and can provide walks, visits, feeding, and attention based on each pet’s needs. I am responsible and will make sure your pet receives the care and attention they need. I provide pets with a safe, clean, and calm environment. In a client’s home, I will follow the owner’s instructions and keep the pet’s normal routine, including feeding, playtime, and care. In my home, I will make sure pets feel comfortable and receive plenty of attention. I always respect each pet’s personality and needs and make safety my priority.

About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking dogs since I was in high school for neighbors, friends, and even a few of my teachers. I grew up around animals and have always loved spending time with them. At my childhood home we would often watch friends’ dogs while they were away, so caring for pets has been part of my life for a long time. Most of my experience is with dogs, but I’ve also cared for cats and other small pets. I even had a pet bird for a couple of years, so I’ve always enjoyed being around animals of all kinds. I work as a film editor, and Rover is something I do on the side because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting outside for walks. It’s a nice way to break up the day and spend time with some great pets. I’m comfortable with drop-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I tend to work more with dogs, but I’m happy to help with cats as well depending on the situation. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always try to make visits calm, fun, and stress-free for them. I’m always happy to do a quick meet-and-greet beforehand so your pet can get to know me and we can make sure it’s a good match. I have a flexible schedule and can usually fit pet visits easily into my day. I work as a film editor, so I’m often working from home and can step out for drop-ins, walks, feeding, or playtime. Pet visits are something I enjoy doing to get outside and spend time with animals, so I try to make each visit relaxed and attentive for your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep things calm and consistent with their usual routine. I’m attentive to instructions for feeding, walks, medications, or anything else your pet needs. I make sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away and treat every home with respect and care.
“Eliana, once again, took great care of Bella. She was also super responsive when I had to contact her over a mix up with someone else getting access to the house.”
About: I have always connected with animals, but it wasn’t until I adopted my dog Chica that I truly understood the special bond between a person and their pet. Living with a dog who experiences separation anxiety changed the way I see pet care. I know how difficult it can feel to leave your dog when you are worried they may feel stressed, lonely, or unsure without you. Because I spend a lot of time at home, I wanted to create a place where dogs can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their families are away. My goal is not just to provide a place for a dog to stay, but to make them feel welcomed, understood, and part of a peaceful home. My dog Chica is an important part of my home environment. She is a small senior female who is very comfortable sharing her space with other animals. She has stayed with many dogs and cats in different homes, as well as welcomed them into ours. When meeting new dogs, she usually either politely sniffs and settles in or simply gives them their own space. Her calm personality helps create a relaxed environment, especially for dogs who prefer a quieter experience. Because Chica is part of my home, I also want to make sure every dog who stays with us is comfortable sharing space with another dog. I welcome dogs who can respect her boundaries and settle into a calm home environment. Before each stay, I like to learn about your dog’s personality, routines, and needs so we can make sure it is a safe and positive experience for everyone. I have experience caring for dogs with different needs, including anxious dogs, senior dogs, puppies, and dogs who need oral medications. I believe every dog has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to learn what helps each dog feel secure and comfortable. I offer one-on-one boarding and daycare in my quiet first-floor apartment, where I only care for one family’s dog(s) at a time. This allows me to give each dog my full attention and avoid the stress of a crowded environment. My priority is making sure your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and like they belong. I want them to have companionship, a familiar routine, and someone paying attention to the little things that make them feel at home. I will also send regular photo updates so you can stay connected and feel reassured while you are away. Before booking, I always like to make sure each dog’s personality and needs are a good match for my home environment. If you feel it would help, I am happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so your dog can become familiar with me, Chica, and the space before their stay. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already organize my days around my own dog, Chica. Since she has separation anxiety, we make sure someone is always with her, which means guest dogs also benefit from having companionship throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and only care for one family's dog(s) at a time, allowing me to give them my full attention and adapt to their routine whenever possible. If I ever anticipate being away for a short period, I will always discuss it with you beforehand so we can make sure it works for your dog's needs. I live in a quiet first-floor apartment with a small fenced patio. For safety, any time spent outside on the patio is always supervised, and dogs are kept on a leash unless we've agreed otherwise. If you prefer that your dog doesn't use the patio, I'm happy to follow your preferences. I tailor each dog's routine to their individual needs. Whether that means quiet walks, extra potty breaks, or more time to explore, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. If your dog enjoys getting out, I can also take them to nearby parks, and I regularly enjoy spending time in nature with my own dog. Above all, I want your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while they're with me. I'll follow your instructions closely, keep you updated with photos, and make sure both your dog and Chica are comfortable throughout the stay.

About: I started dog walking and doing cat play dates out of high school 11 years ago and loved it! I grew up with two large dogs and two cats in Portland, Oregon. Calm or animated, tall and long, short and stout, I take care of dogs & cats with all types of personalities, needs, and routines. I know dog & cat first aid through the American Red Cross and will go above and beyond to be a steward of your space. I study critical theory around the subjects of visual culture and land use at Portland State University online, so my schedule is open and adaptable to yours. My availability is completely open. I'm currently a student online, so I can adapt my schedule around whichever days and times you need help. I'm a patient, soft-spoken caretaker that allows a new fur friend to get to know me first. I'll walk the greenest routes in the area and cross the streets at the safest points. I walk at a steady pace and can check in with you and your pet during the walk or pet sit. We can play games or lounge around if that's more their style. I'll tend to your pet's grooming, diet, activity, and behavior specificities as well as any household tasks that accompany the visit.
About: I have pets of my own. I see pets as part of family so the care I provide is same as for my fuzzy love bugs, lots of luv and snuggles and maybe some extra treats if permitted ;) I know what’s it like to be away from your fuzzy friends so I will provide regular updates if you wish so. Available on weekdays/ weekends- mostly flexible schedule. Can stay overnight if needed, available on holidays. Can stop by for short time to check on your pets, play with them and feed them. I am available to stop by, walk/feed and care for your dogs or cats. I am also available to stay overnight if you are traveling and need full time care for your pets.
“Brandi was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and our kitties’ first time meeting someone new without us so they were super shy but she was very patient with them and always prioritized their comfort. She was always on time, had great communication, and send pictures. Would absolutely book her again!”

About: I’ve had many dogs and cats throughout my life. I light up around animals but I’m a big believer in respecting a pet’s personal boundaries. This means I won’t pet an animal if it does not want to be pet and I won’t intentionally overexcite them. I’m going to school part-time at Pasadena City College where I’m pursuing an associates degree in Behavioral Sciences. I’m excited to care for animals during the rest of my time! I am dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for animals. I am punctual with regular tasks such as medication and mealtimes. I am attentive to potential hazards that may occur on walks and in parks.

About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available for home visits, walks throughout the day, boarding, and/or pet sitting any day of the week. I live in a residential neighborhood in the Somerset section of Glendale, perfect for walks. My apartment is a large one-bedroom I share with my cat Star, who is very affectionate and easy-going - she'd love to keep your pet company!
“If you’re looking for a pet sitter who you can trust and will go above and beyond. Pixie was amazing with my cat Mo, took plenty of pictures and videos. Leaving our cat for a couple days was stressful, but Pixie made it a breeze and we knew she was in good hands.”

“Cloe is doing a great job. Our puppy is well taken care of. She is always on time, never leaves a mess, accommodating and trust worthy. We were so lucky to find her!”

About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.
“Chloe did an incredible job at the last minute, helping us with cat care when our other sitter fell through. She is clearly a really lovely person, and was professional, responsible, and thorough on top of that. Our cat seemed not to miss us at all!! I highly recommend her.”
“Booked with Bella a second time! She was familiar with my cat’s care instructions from last time and followed them perfectly. My cat was happy to have someone he’s familiar with come back :)”

About: Hi, my name is Angie! I love animals like my blood relatives and I would love to be your next fur baby caretaker! I've lived in a house with 3 dogs for my entire life, and love to play, walk, relax, and explore with them. Since I was 8 I've been actively taking care of pups (feeding, walking, bathing, grooming, and cleaning up after them), so I'm definitely confident with taking care of dogs. My earliest memories were with a Husky, Doberman mix, and Super-mutt, and then I grew up with my GSP, Australian Shepherd, and Chi-Poo (who is now the happiest 14-year-old old lady). In college I also fostered cats – a sibling duo I took care of for 6 months, as well as a litter of 6 kittens – so I love to be with both dogs and cats alike, and know how to take care of both sweet creatures :) I'm available for dog walking, dog sitting, or cat sitting, and have availability throughout the week (with only Sunday afternoons fully blocked off). I can take care of small and big dogs alike, and love to be active – so no amount of energy is too much for me! I have taken care of dogs from 6 weeks to 14 years, and cats from 2 weeks to 6 years old. I just graduated from USC, and I'm very responsible and know how to look after and take care of our precious pets. Feel free to reach out today with any questions about future care, and I look forward to becoming your pet's best friend! I'm free for walking throughout the week, and am very flexible with my work schedule since I'm a figure skating teacher. Sundays I am unavailable from 11AM-4PM, but I am otherwise available to take care of your pets or board for a period of time. I have lots of toys, treats, and love to give, and having experience with both old and young pets, I adapt to energy levels very quickly and know how to build connections and trust with animals. I am very clean and responsible, and if any mess is made I clean it right up. I can find a way to make even the smallest space a wonderland for pets, and am confident that I can keep them entertained until their humans return.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Chevy Chase
Alina was available for a last-minute visit with my dog. I was already out of town, so we didn't have a chance for a meet & greet and for me to show her where things were in the house. I was impressed by her willingness to go into a new environment, find everything, and get my dog walked and fed. Alina seems very responsible and trustworthy and I would certainly hire her again.

Camille was very nice and communicative. We have very shy cats and this was their first visit with Camille. While they didn’t come out, it’s typical for them, and I think they will warm up to her quickly. She also let us know when we had a problem with some mail and was very helpful.

Wow. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was having Alex look after my 2 kittens. It’s always stressful to be away from pets, but all of the positive reviews I read about Alex turned out to be true. He gave detailed reports of his interactions with my little guys and sent lots of photos. This gave me so much reassurance that all was well. I recommend Alex 100% if you want the very best care for your fur babies.
