About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking dogs since I was in high school for neighbors, friends, and even a few of my teachers. I grew up around animals and have always loved spending time with them. At my childhood home we would often watch friends’ dogs while they were away, so caring for pets has been part of my life for a long time. Most of my experience is with dogs, but I’ve also cared for cats and other small pets. I even had a pet bird for a couple of years, so I’ve always enjoyed being around animals of all kinds. I work as a film editor, and Rover is something I do on the side because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting outside for walks. It’s a nice way to break up the day and spend time with some great pets. I’m comfortable with drop-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. Pet visits are something I enjoy doing to get outside and spend time with animals, so I try to make each visit relaxed and attentive for your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep things calm and consistent with their usual routine. I’m attentive to instructions for feeding, walks, medications, or anything else your pet needs. About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.
