Thank you for visiting my sitter profile! I'm a 36 year old freelance graphic designer born and raised in Pasadena, California. I was fortunate to grow up in a household where family members more often than not came in animal form; the innate compassion I had for animals developed into a deep love and respect. Their companionship means just as much to me as my companionship means to them, if not more. I pet sit because spending time with animals - making sure they're well cared for and feel loved, winning their affection, learning their personalities, building a bond, confronting the challenges they present - is all genuinely rewarding for me. Not to mention the incredible pet owners I get to meet whose love for their pets warms my heart! Experience: I started pet sitting at 13 and have worked both independently and for pet sitting companies over the years in LA, Santa Cruz, Portland, Oregon and most recently in Australia. In addition to being well-versed in general pet care, I have experience caring for pets with special needs. I'm comfortable administering medications orally as well as with a syringe (intravenously and subcutaneously). I’m also comfortable working with shy, anxious, reactive, and elderly pets.
