“It had been over a year and a half so I didn't know how my pup would feel, but she got right back into the groove of things with Frances. I could tell she was happy and satisfied from all the walks and company. Another pup had been boarding as well, so my pup had a little playmate for a couple days and it really refreshed her! Frances was very careful and considerate of my pups needs (GI issues and starting to have hip pain as she is a senior dog now) and gave me an update at the end of the staycation. About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.

About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking dogs since I was in high school for neighbors, friends, and even a few of my teachers. I grew up around animals and have always loved spending time with them. At my childhood home we would often watch friends’ dogs while they were away, so caring for pets has been part of my life for a long time. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced yard. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention — no other animals to compete with. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress.
