About: I've loved cats since I was a little kid, but since I grew up in a house full of 3 dogs, I was only able to spend time with them at friends and family friends' houses. In college, however, I've had the opportunity to foster cats, which has been an incredible experience. I took care of a brother-sister duo for 6 months, having them from the time they were 4 weeks, and having to deal with all quarantine protocols and the occasional vet visit. After obtaining ringworm from the shelter they came from, my roommates and I took did all the necessary protocols to bring them back to full health, including giving them oral injections and pills every day, as well as topical creams. We also took care of them after their spay/neuter process, so I'm no stranger to kitties with cones or who need medicine. I also had the opportunity to foster a litter of 6 baby kittens, all of whom we had to bottle feed and give constant attention to. Despite not having cats growing up, I feel very knowledgeable and responsible in my abilities as a cat caretaker.

About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.

About: I’ve been fortunate to grow up with animals most of my life and lucky enough to continue having little fur companions in the home through roommates. I’m proud to say I’m my friend’s go to for pet sitting (+ house sitting) while they’re away in long trips as I love to play, cuddle, and take care of their little ones as if they were my own. I enjoy taking my family’s dogs for long walks whenever I visit and cuddling with the cat if she’s gracious enough to give me attention. I’d love to meet your pet and thanks in advance! 💗 I’m generally free before 2 pm and after 6 pm with open availability on the weekends though my schedule will vary on a weekly basis and can be pretty flexible! It’s not always easy for pets to be with a stranger but with trust, respect, and patience I hope to create a safe atmosphere. I’d love to implement the methods that have already been established by the pet owner to create a familiar environment and easy transition for your pet.

Lupo tends to get a bit nervous with new people/environments but Daria did a great job making him feel comfortable and providing good care. “Henry was happy at Jane's resident. He got along well with her, her dog and family. Her husband gave Henry special attention at night because Henry did not want to be in a separate room at night so he slept in same room as Henry. Jane has a yard that Henry enjoyed with her dog. Jane and her husband were sweet and we did a meet and greet before drop off. Jane was able to take care of Henry's special diet restrictions. I would use Jane again:)”

“Cynthia is amazing! Mushu has separation anxiety so I was a bit worried about leaving him with a sitter for the first time - especially for a few days! But Cynthia made him feel right at home the first night! She keeps us updated with daily photos of him looking so cozy that it helps me worry less while we’re away from him. “My dog Maggie had the best time at Miry's home. If your dog enjoys kids and lots of activity, Miry's home will be an amazing fit. She got lots of activity with volunteers in the backyard, playtime with kids, and sunbathing with tortoise Betty. She was also very responsive and accommodating when I wasn't as prepared as I usually am for Maggie's stay. Not to mention she sent amazing photos. Can't wait to have Maggie stay with Miry and her family again!”
