About: Last year I said goodbye to my 17 year-old dog Max, just a few months after my cat Scotty passed away suddenly from kidney disease. Thankfully, Scotty's sister Star is still with me and thriving, but I really miss being around and caring for other animals. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the gentle care they require. I'm also very familiar with younger dogs of all sizes. And I've fostered a lot of cats - mainly kittens - which is how Star and Scotty originally came into my life. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet - whether it be walks, drop-ins, boarding or pet-sitting. I work part-time, teaching improv and also teach at an academy for gifted and neurodivergent homeschool students. The classes are short and nearby (and are not every day) so I'm never gone for more than 2-4 hours. Which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your pet! I'm available for home visits, walks throughout the day, boarding, and/or pet sitting any day of the week. I live in a residential neighborhood in the Somerset section of Glendale, perfect for walks. My apartment is a large one-bedroom I share with my cat Star, who is very affectionate and easy-going - she'd love to keep your pet company!

About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.
About: I’m hybrid schedule work schedule so I can finally carry out my true calling… being a friend and playmate to all fur babies! Live in a duplex house with an extra room for all the furries and a huge living room with dog beds all over! AND, drumroll please… a HUGE backyard: awesome 6ft fence, with full natural grass yard and a small flower garden for all the smells. I’d love to have your pets over for a paw-ty while you are away, or pick them up for a walk on the way to the parks! I have experience with senior dogs who need medicine, diaper care, or those pups with special needs like assistance walking or going to the restroom, as I did those with my senior baby before he passed. Neighbors, friends, family, and roommates have all entrusted me to watch over their loved ones and we’ve always had fun, safe, and silly times together! I can walk, feed, bathe and play with your fur babies and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. I’m big on pet action videos and pictures so if you want those as a pet parent I’m at your service! I love to cater to each pet parent and pet’s needs through their little staycation oasis. I’m hybrid again and a few months away from being fully remote so I can finally carry out my true calling… being a friend and playmate to all fur babies! And let’s be real, I LOVE having fur coworkers over regular ones hehe before work, after work, and lunch time nature walks are necessary for me so it fits perfectly to have some furry friends join me during my breaks. I will always have your dog on leash when we go for walks or in an enclosed yard if they need to be let out or just fed with a companion. I love taking pups to large grassy fields and in that case I have a few 25 ft leashes so the pups can “run free” but won’t be able to run away and if I have multiple pets, I would have my husband there to also help monitor the pup play!

We had an initial meetup where she asked a lot of good care questions and I explained how I feed him, where things are, vet contact info, etc. She made sure to send pictures and videos for each visit and provided an update summary. This is our 2nd time/visit with Rachel. We live over 300 miles away and I was hoping she would be available to watch our Taco again. Rachel met us beforehand to reintroduce herself to Taco. We needed her for a drop in visit while we visited Disneyland. Once again I was impressed with her kindess towards Taco. She waited for him to warm up to her which I love. Once he warmed up there was play time, which is favorite time, then outside to stretch his legs! I received several pictures, candid pictures, of him playing and his outdoor time. Taco had a nice walk. I know this because she sent a map of their walk! I'm glad that I did not hesitate to contact Rachel. I must admit, I was holding my breath till I received confirmation that she was available!! We love Rachel and I can't wait to re book again!! Thank you so much! ❤️
Wow. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was having Alex look after my 2 kittens. It’s always stressful to be away from pets, but all of the positive reviews I read about Alex turned out to be true. He gave detailed reports of his interactions with my little guys and sent lots of photos. This gave me so much reassurance that all was well. I recommend Alex 100% if you want the very best care for your fur babies.
Sara was a fantastic caregiver for our elderly cat and we would recommend her to anyone! She is extremely communicative, and respectful of our cat's needs. She went above and beyond and asked where a broom & dustpan were while we were away because Becky can be sloppy with her litter. Sara proactively clarified Becky's insulin needs to make sure she would be giving her the right amount amidst some changes in her insulin regimen. We look forward to when we can book Sara again!

Magdalena is the best! My dog is the best boy but can be very shy at first and she took the time to meet him prior. He fell in love with her right away. Magdalena is reliable and sends constant updates for each visit through video and photos. My dog looks very happy and well cared for. I’m extremely grateful for her since I’ve had to return back to in-person work. I will continue to use Magdalena as a trustworthy sitter.
