About: Have been sitting friends dogs for the last 8 years. Just recently graduated with an Associate of science in veterinary technology. Have also worked in the veterinary field for a few years. I am very comfortable caring for others pets. I currently have an almost 5 year old dog. He’s a small chihuahua mix who gets along great with both dogs and cats. Has done well in the past when we’ve had other dogs stay the night or stay for a long period. My dog is also fully vaccinated and on preventatives. Before life with my pup I had a cat for 18 years. My love for both my cat and dog drove me into veterinary medicine to help other pets. I am currently working but on occasion have some extra time off. I have some free time over the holidays and can figure out a schedule or time frame needed. We live in a safe, gated apartment building with a very lovely garden. Across the street there is a small park that we like to walk to daily. Usually not too busy during the day. We are trying to keep dog interactions to a minimum at the moment.

I have been a cat mom for 16 yrs, but sadly my beloved cat, Mittens passed away in May 2025. I miss him dearly! And I deeply miss having a fur baby in my life! But since I’m not ready to get a new pet yet, I want to give my love, attention and experience into taking care of other people’s pets! I am extremely experienced with taking care of cats and I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs before, and now several times professionally on Rover, that you might say I am just as much, if not more! of a dog lover as I am a cat lover! Hehe! 😜🐱🐶 Just joking! I still absolutely love and enjoy taking care of both dogs and cats equally! And in all seriousness, they both have their own wonderful and amazing charms! 😁 I work from home so I am always at home, so it makes it easy to take care of pets and give them all the attention and potty breaks that they need. I live in a one bedroom apartment that is 1000-1500 sqft and I don’t have a backyard or personal balcony, but live in a very safe residential neighborhood, so walking dogs outside at anytime of the day is completely safe and fine. My living room is a reasonable size (1000 sqft), which is why I only board small to medium sized dogs; however, I work from home, so I’m always able to take the dogs out to get some much needed air, sun and exercise daily, so they don’t get too cooped up or bored indoors. I also always make it a priority to turn the AC and fans on at my place, so they can stay cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore, I have used the Rover App before to have my own late cat boarded with a pet sitter on here, so I fully understand the comfort and the need for owners to have pet sitters send photos, videos and daily updates of their pets to them, therefore, I always make that a priority and I am more than happy to do that! I firmly believe and take it very seriously that a pet sitter should always respond immediately and be absolutely communicative at all times!

About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.
