About: I’ve always shared my home with dogs, whether living with roommates and family who had pets or stepping in to pet-sit for friends. Even without having a dog of my own, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique bond they share with us 'two-legged animals.' I love their capacity for unconditional trust and pure affection—they really are the best companions. Whether I’m matching their high energy or enjoying a quiet moment of calm, I find so much joy in their presence Currently I am on sabbatical from my job and have time to spend with pets. I like taking dogs out for walks at the park, or just around the neighborhood. Unless some other life responsibility comes up, I am open to spend as much time as I would like with the fuzzy butts! I live in a small 8 unit apartment building in a very walkable neighborhood. I live very close to Griffith park and love to visit there with dogs. My apartment is a 2/2 and there are no limits to if a pet is on the furniture with me. I love to snuggle if they like to.

For boarding, your pups will stay with us in our condo (two flights of stairs) with my husband and our roommate who both love dogs. While they’re around most of the time (which is nice if I have to step out for a minute) I am the primary care giver for your animals and will be attentive and on top of their needs. I am a grad student and freelance graphic designer, which means I have a lot of freedom and flexibility to work around your pet’s schedule. During a stay, I may need to periodically leave the house to go to client meetings/class, but spend the majority of the day working remotely at home. Above all, I ensure your pets are getting the best care and attention they deserve while in my care. When I lived with a roommate who has two huskies, we made sure they got plenty of exercise, affection and playtime (without it huskies are a handful!) I believe a morning and evening walk along with adequate playtime and affection during the day is key to your pup’s wellbeing and peace of mind. Of course, if you have a pre-determined schedule for your pets, I will try to align myself with those routines to the best of my ability.

I won’t be able to provide house-sitting services, but I do have a park very close to my home where I can take your dog for walks and, with your permission, even enjoy some playtime in the dog park!
