A typical day
I love to go for long walks but short walks are fun too. I am very patient with dogs that love to "stop and smell the flowers" on their walks. I can play catch or tug if your dog loves that and if your pal loves to lounge, I can do that too. Oh, and I give great doggie massages.

I grew up in a home with a dog, a cat, birds, fish, and rabbits. Throughout my life, I’ve opened my heart to many a pooch, including a beautiful epileptic Dalmation, a feisty pocket Shih Tzu (that one of my students brought to school in a backpack), an adorably lazy Bijon-Maltese mix who came to stay for a weekend and stayed 10 years -- and most recently a spirited 13 year old Terrier mix that we brought home after his person died unexpectedly. All were loved and doted upon until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The smaller ones vacationed by car, truck, and plane and were with us 24/7. I’ve often cared for my friends' dogs and am known for giving good doggy massages. I’ve also shared my space with an African Sulcata tortoise for the last 17 years.

I've known Sandra M. for 10 years now. She is caring , reliable and responsible. Through the years, I've watched her take the best possible care of 2 adorable dogs .The first dog of hers that I met, was a charmer named Tommy. He had been a stray in need of a good home, and after Sandra gave him one with her, he was healthy and happy and a joy to be around. Her next dog, Fitz, was adopted as an elderly dog whose owner had sadly passed. Sandra took him in and made sure that he got plenty of walks, love and treats in his golden years. When his age made it difficult for him to digest dog food, she made homemade meals of chicken, rice and veggies for him. I would trust Sandra completely with the care of my pets. I know that she will show them the utmost care and look out for their well being to the best of her ability. Highly recommended.
I've known Sandra for about 18 years, and she's very intuitive and attentive with all kinds of people, human or otherwise. I met two of her dogs and her giant tortoise. Many times I stayed at her place and watched her care for them; I witnessed her patience and time investment particularly with the dogs at the end of their lives, walking them, taking care of their treatments, cooking their food, and always treating them as part of her family and including them in her daily routine. I've had two large dogs and if I had to entrust them to someone to care for them, I would definitely have Sandra at the very top of my list.
